Was wanting to send an edible arrangement for Mother's Day, but couldn't believe how much more I could get for my money on Gift Tree. Delivery was exact time as promised and sent via notification on the day of delivery. Would so use Gift Tree again in the future and so would my Mom. She had so much fun opening all of the boxes in The basket!

After reading all the bad reviews, I felt that I needed to post my wonderful review about the basket I just had delivered to my mom for Mothers Day. She had to leave unexpectedly for a family emergency and I found out Wednesday May 10, that she would not be home for Mother's Day, and she was pretty upset by it. So, I found the Chocolate Decadence gift basket and ordered it at 1pm. At 3 pm it was out for delivery. And as promised, it was delivered today, May 12. It is perfect. It had everything in it it said it would. And she was thrilled, so in turn I am thrilled. Do not let some old reviews turn you off to a company, glitches happen and companies change processes to make them better. Thank you gift tree for saving my Mothers Day!

Very Disappointed

I ordered 5 boxes of the cookies. Boy what a mistake! The cookies were disgusting. They were hard and had a horrible after taste. I was embarrassed that I gave these as a gift to show appreciation..

I ordered a birthday basket for my sister for delivery on or before Friday, May 5,2017. I placed this order days in advance to ensure this would arrive on Friday the 5th... one day before my sister's birthday on Saturday, May 6,2017. As of Friday evening, this package was showing as still sitting in a transit facility and the delivery date was now scheduled for Monday, May 8,2017. I spoke with customer service and they pointed out that I was NOT guaranteed delivery for the 6th because I had it shipped UPS Ground. I'm unhappy because what is the point of being given a date for delivery when placing an order if they won't deliver on the date requested... UPS ground or any other form of delivery? I will never purchase anything from Gift Tree again. In today's age... you burn a customer once and they will take their business elsewhere, because there are many other companies doing the job right.

First and foremost, I am sorry that this experience was not what you had anticipated. I can appreciate how upsetting this has been with the gift being for such a special occasion.

As you mentioned, with ground shipping, this is unfortunately not a guaranteed delivery date, rather a delivery estimate. Although that delivery estimate is a fairly accurate eta, gifts can arrive before, on or even after the estimated delivery date with the standard ground shipping. This is the same with all shipping companies and I do hope there is no further disappointment should you decide to shop with another company.

In the future, if you did need a gift by a specific date, I would recommend having your delivery date a day or so prior to the special occasion or opting for one of the upgraded express options of 2 day or overnight guaranteed delivery. I would be happy to issue a store credit to cover these costs on your next order as we do value you and your feedback on this order. Nightmare

I ordered my 4 year old daughters teacher a birthday gift. It was supposed to be a beautiful basket with 2 bottles of wine and some fine cheeses, crackers, chocolate, and many other snacks. What showed up was a cheap ugly tiny basket with 4 bottles of cheap wine and nothing else. I was humiliated and embarrassed by how ugly the packaging was, and the fact that not one snack was sent for my 4 year old daughters preschool teacher. Just a bunch of nasty wine. I paid $149. What a rip off!

Embarrassing

Ordered a beautiful New Baby flower arrangement to be delivered to my brother who lives 1,194 miles away as they welcomed a set of twins. (I ordered from their town - same day delivery). When my brother sent me the pic of the flowers thanking me, I was soooo pissed. It was embarrassing, it looked nothing like the photo online, it was very expensive, looked as thou flowers were thrown in a vase. So disappointing, one simple gesture turned into a disaster. A special moment ruined. I will never order from them again.

Terrible.

Do not use this company. Terrible. I orderd a beautiful, expensive floral arrangement for the daughter's 30th birthday and what arrived at her door was absolutely nothing that was promised. The pictured arrangement included an adorable birthday vase with curled ribbon down the sides... Not only was there no resemblance to what I requested, it also arrived a day early... Thankfully she was a home to receive the flowers, if not who knows the condition they would have been in.

The day before Easter, I ordered a same day fruit gift basket through their company, got an order receipt, THEN a phone call hours later that they were NO LONGER making the gift baskets that I ordered and then tried to "replace" them with flowers.

I did NOT order flowers. I ordered a FRUIT basket, of which there are twenty or so on their website for ordering, so THAT was ridiculous!

Then when I contacted them, they were idiotic and didn't want to refund me and lied that they had sent me a refund. I waited and waited on their chat service until I FINALLY got a "receipt" stating that I had been refunded (which is really anybody's guess, at this point, because it was just a piece of paper, not anything that actually showed I had been refunded).

THEN I found out they delivered HALF my order! So my in-laws are getting a basket but my parents are NOT! Who gave them the authority to make such a judgement call?

They never called to let us know they were delivering only one basket. So you can only imagine the family drama this is going to create.

And the company did NOTHING. No discount offered, no ANYTHING. They didn't even want to deal with it and claimed it was all because of a holiday.

They are supposed to be a GIFT BASKET COMPANY, aren't holidays THEIR BUSINESS? What a complete joke of a company! NEVER USE THEM!

I ordered one thing and a much cheaper item was delivered! I called for a refund and they said they couldn't, but would ship the correct item but it wouldn't be received until after holidays. I am furious. Will definitely contact Better Business Bureau!

Horrible

They over charged me. I cancelled my order and called a florist direct. Saved a ton of money and helped a small local business. Better quality from going direct because I could get exactly what I wanted. I'll never use a wire service again. Thanks for trying to steal my money and screw me over. BTW the florist told us that wire services do not give the florists delivery fees or service fees that people pay when they order from these sites. I actually saved $30 on a $100 order.

They are liars! If you pick something that states (guarantee delivery same day if ordered before 2 pm) and are counting on it to get done forget i!. I ordered small regular flowers nothing exotic and a simple fruit basket nothing you can't run to the grocery down the street and get to be delivered same day. Ordered at 8:30 am, they call and said their partenering forest did not have the fruit basket ready because it takes time to get the freshest fruit can in be delivered in the morning. I said sure but need to be in the morning my mother in law is having bypass surgery the next day and need to have time to enjoy the gifts. Yes mam will do! LIE! It is 4:30 pm the next day still not delivered but the reason is the forest did not have the exact flowers yesterday (LIE)! The I call this after noon earlier they said it is on the truck and will be there soon now they are saying maybe around 6 pm! She can't eat after 9pm and now has a basket of fruit and flowers she will only see for a few hours when she should have been able to enjoy then for a day in a half. She will go to surgery and be in the hospital (ICU 3 days floor 2 days) the flowers will be dead when she gets home and the fruit rotted. I expressed this at each call and no one gave a crap! My Advise Call a direct place within the area you are send and deal directly with them. Gift Tree got my 130.00 dollars and cause me distress, disappointment, anger and sadness if you want to risk feeling the same way give them a call put you loving thoughts in their hands!

GiftTree is a scam

Jeez, I wished I read this site before I ordered a $135 basket! I ordered, paid, and received all the normal confirmations. Next day I received a call, "sorry we don't deliver in that area (Wilmington, NC, 5 min from Wrightsville Beach) it is too rural." I said it is not. Its at the damn beach. I asked why would you accept my order and take my money if you don't deliver in that area? The customer service rep sounded so beat down, kept saying so sorry, I pointed out look you took my order, and charged me shipping charges, I don't get it. The rep said, they could switch the basket out, and FedEx it? When the "exchange was done" it was $17 less than what I paid, I said REFUND ME, and I am going to slaughter you're scam on Social Media.

I really wish I had googled reviews for Gift Tree BEFORE I dropped $100 plus bucks on a gift for the management where I live. The reviews on their site must be FAKE! Once you pay it tells you the crazy high prices to deliver and if you pick standard STILL expensive they take their time (almost 10 days now and still its NOT DELIVERED!) I was due today I get an email from FEDEX that they could not deliver it no in in office at 9:09 am there are always a few people in that office from 9am to 6pm. I call the company and Stephanie could care less that I am upset about this but "don't worry they will try again for the next 2 days"? How hard is it to deliver on the day you say (10 days after requested)? I said can I cancel - NO it's food. But it's food that is going rotten in a truck now. Send them a gift card or shop yourself or use a reputable gift delivery GIFT TREE IS TERRRIBLE! I threw away 100 bucks and got a big headache. Will update if I actually get it with no issues. Can't imagine the quality of it after trying to deal with Customer service.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering! I needed flowers and champagne sent to friends in Nashville who were getting married. The delivery was for the next day... I didn't receive a confirmation email and called today to find out what happened... they said, "sorry, we dropped the ball... would you like a refund?!?!?" NO! I don't want a refund... I wanted my flowers yesterday when I requested it delivered! No apology, no care... I'm totally embarrassed and have no recourse! DO NOT ORDER FROM GIFT TREE!

I cannot even give this company 1 Star-but had to to write the review! I take care of my dad with Alzheimer's so decided to order on line from Gifttree. Big mistake! They charged my card on Sunday, confirmed the deliveries for 2 of my orders yesterday, yet called me today, Valentine's Day at 1PM to tell me that they could not make the deliveries to my two sisters because they called their affiliates TODAY and they are too busy to handle the orders! Had they checked yesterday and let me know,, I could have made other arrangements. Customer service rep even argued with me saying they were too busy placing other people's orders yesterday so they just tried to do mine today! I will NEVER place an order from them again. Stop taking orders if you can't deliver! Horrible customer service!

Valentines Day Surprise!

Spent $130 on a gift basket with flowers balloons and chocolates and had it delivered to my fiances clinic to surprise her! Only to be told at about 2pm that they do not deliver flowers on valentines dayafter they took my money and confirmed delivery for valentines daynow I have to wait 3 days to get my money back. Now they have all my card informationthis is the most unprofessional and unreliable excuse for a scam that there can be. DO NOT TRUST THIS TRASH! RUINED EVERYTHING I FEEL ROBBED

AWFUL COMPANY!

Ordered an $80.00 gift basket to be sent to a business in another state. Received a text message from recipient with a photo of the basket and I was in shock! They received about $10.00 worth of the cheapest fruit. Sooo embarassing! Called customer service and they said they would re deliver a new basket and it was never done. They are now claiming they will refund $40.00 to me. Still does not fix the situation. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

The cost of shipping anything from this place is crazy. The standard shipping cost to send a small box should never be $16.95 (USA). Especially, when the boxed item costs only $29.95 and doesn't weight alot. Makes a relatively cheap item cost almost double after the shipping costs.

Put in an order to be delivered on the 22nd of Dec. They switched the warehouse on me to the other side of the country and changed the delivery date to the 28th and notified me after the items were already shipped, so I was not even able to cancel the order. When asking them for a refund they said no and that the items were shipped. I've called at least 9 times asking for some kind of help. The best they would do is call all the recipients informing them it was their fault. They are not understanding at all, these were holiday gifts for some very dear friends and business colleges. I will never use them again, not even if they gave me a credit. I want a full refund.

I ordered a Deluxe Gourmet Gift Basket with One Bottle of Champgne for $149.99 or $181.37 after service and delivery fees. What was delivered was nothing like what was pictured online. My recipient received a $18.99 bottle of sparkling wine from Safeway in a poorly wrapped basket with rainbow color ribbon and bright orange crinckle cut paper strips (this was especially embarassing as this was a birthday gift for a grown man). I even confirmed on the phone that the contents would include a $50 bottle of nice champagne. I contacted GiftTree about their satisfaction guarantee and they told me that they would only refund the $19.95 service charge. After telling them that I didnt want money I just wanted the product delivered that was advertised they stopped responding to my emails and now I can not log on to my GiftTree account no doubt so that I can not review the item.
This is called deceptive advertising and it is theft to take someones money and not give them what they agreed to pay for.
