This was my first experience using Gift Rocket, and it was perfect for what I needed it for! There are lots of great options, including a deposit straight into your bank account. It was very user friendly and my gift arrived promptly; I will definitely be using again!
To bad there's not a zero on this chart for my review. There's no way to redeem your gift unless it's for an amazon gift card. It says to enter acct, or credit card # however the info in order to redeem but the info is rejected. They don't answer emails, and ph number for the business no live person only a recorder. Sad that this day an age people are still engaging in deceitful business practices. They charge 5$ for the purchase of the gift card so even if you file a claim with your bank or credit card & the transaction is despite's they're still making money. 5$ from less say 1000$ dissatisfied customers is still 5000$. Stop this company from making money!
My brother sent me a $25 gift card. Giftrocket wanted my bank info, but I was not comfortable entering that. So I opted for an Amazon gift card, but there was an apparent error in executing that. The Giftrocket site said "look for an email", but that did not arrive. My brother canceled the e-gift. I think he will be lucky if his credit card actually gets credited. I think the good reviews might all be fake.
I have had a good luck and fast service with gift rocket. I have used it half a dozen times and always processes timely. Gift has been sent instantly and person has in their paypal account by the next day.
I purchased a card and the fee was pending on my credit card. When did not receive a link to access funds or print information, I emailed. The response I was told was "you never ordered it - it is in the shopping cart". I provided a screen shot of the fee and they still said it was not purchased and never responded again. When the pending fee posted to my account, I again emailed and did not hear back so I needed to go through my credit card to have the fee disputed and removed. Thank goodness for Discover and for the email tracking I had to dispute the charge. Very unprofessional - they could have simply looked up my card number to check billing and never did. Don't use this - would give a zero if I could
My son paid $50 for a gift card for me. I tried to call, they don't answer the phone. I emailed, they did not respond. They kept his $50 and scammed us both. These people are a fraud and should be arrested. The site should be shut down so other people are not scammed or cheated. How long will this continue... its a disgrace!

Bought a "gift certificate" for our daughter - when you go tot business they charge your credit card and you're supposed to redeem your certificate on-line for credit. Did this 3 times and 5 days later you get an email saying rejected! Complete RIPOFF! Don't use them its a SCAM!
In the weird pandemic of a time that we are in my friends and family are on the east coast as I am on the west coast. Due to loss of jobs and loss of financial stability this company allowed me to purchase a gift card to be able to send through email to a local grocery store so that my friend could by food. This company made this process very easy and will be using in the future.
I got a gift from someone and I was pleasantly surprised to see the many choices you could get between the many gift cards or just taking the cash. Gives A lot of choices. It's better to let the person receiving decide what they want and that is what gift rocket does.
GiftRocket was very easy to use, my friends sent me money for my favorite local coffee place which I simply transferred to my bank after putting in some info, and was able to be basically reimbursed for the purchase once the money hit my account.
I chose Gift Rocket as an engagement gift for a friend because it was a seamless process, offered a wide variety of gift card choices and the delivery of it was fun- it opens up with a click that takes you to the chosen image and message. I highly recommend and will be purchasing through Gift Rocket again!
Please read comment number ten below. This happened to Mensure too. And when I told them this in my review they got mad at Their so called securit team cancelled my transaction not giving me the money. No big deal. Just shows how much more deceiving they are.
My mother in law and my husband's aunt and husband each gave us gift cards to what they thought was our favorite restaurant. Turns out that unless I am willing to give up my bank account information, we can't use this gift to eat at our favorite restaurant. This is really misleading and I am not happy. We will provide our bank information but please be warned not to use this site.

I was late in sending an anniversary gift to my daughter in another state, when I went on line to look for an option to get something affordable to her and her husband. This is when I discovered GiftRocket. I loved the idea that I could recommend a place for them to enjoy the use of my gift but they actually had to option to do with what they wanted. So I recommended a restaurant, which they love, and they had extra $ to spend in another area. They loved it. I will definitely use this site again.
I received a GiftRocket gift card as a present. It was in Canadian... funds paid for with a Canadian credit card. When I tried to redeem the card several months later it was denied because GiftRocket will no longer process non US credit cards. The entire purpose of this gift card is to allow you to redeem it to your credit card or bank account. This is what they show on their website and this is what was understood when it was purchased. After much back and forth with their customer service I was not able to come to a suitable arrangement. Anyone holding a GiftRocket gift card in a currency other than US will be in the same situation and will have to deal with customer service if they want to redeem their card. Based on the reviews I have read about this company I am certainly not the only person having this problem. I would suggest anyone thinking of using this company to think twice about it.
This company takes your money, sends the recipient a confirmation that they are receiving a gift card, BUT the recipient must provide their banking info to redeem. No smart person would or should do this. The recipient not only never gets their gift card, but you NEVER get your money returned. This is a complete scam - do not fall for it!
Wanted to send someone a GiftRocket card. My first try Giftrocket.com crashed as I was sending the card. My credit card was charged, but the Giftrocket order did not go through.
Contacted support and they quickly responded and corrected the error. Money went back to my card. Tried the order again and it worked.
Will definitely use Giftrocket again.

These crooks just cut and paste any restaurant name and make you believe you're buying a gift card. Meanwhile it's a generic credit, and they 'suggest' you use at the restaurant you specified!
Shame on them.

I received a GiftRocket certificate from a friend and loved that i could just choose to transfer the funds into my bank account to use on anything I wanted. The money was deposited smoothly and quickly.
