GiftRocket

GiftRocket is an easy way to send a gift via email. You no longer need to physically send a gift or card. All can be done electronically! I received a gift and I had the choice to use it towards a certain store like or for the gift to be deposited into my bank account.

I don't understand why are the bad reviews here lying so much... maybe it is only the compitence playing unfair.
I received a gift card with money and did not need to give any percentage of it to have the money transferred to my bank.

It was fast and smooth.

Don't use. Mislead to believe I could buy a gift card to a local theater in town and print off at home immediately. Received an e-mail saying that I could either deposit the amount directly into my account or choose to apply it to another brand's gift card. Attempted to apply to AMC theaters and have not received an e-mail with the money as of yet... Also charged a $3.80 service charged that would not have been applied had I just used the brand's direct website. Don't fall for it. Avoid it.

I loved the option of being able to choose from so many different establishments. It was also very convenient to have the gift transferred right to my bank account with no hassle. I think igift rocket is a great way to send a gift.

I feel like such a fool! I purchased a "gift card" for a restaurant that GiftRocket didn't have as a choice for gift cards. I thought the cute card that I selected to print out would suffice as the "gift certificate". However, when I hit submit, I was to find out that the recipient (my father), would have to give them his checking account routing number so they could deposit the $100 into his account. He could then make his own decision if he wanted to go to the restaurant that I had written on the card or use it for anything else. I could have just handed him $100 and wish I had! They charged my credit $107 ($7 for their fee), but never put the money in my father's account. Now, not only am I worried about them having my credit card number, but I am worried about them having my father's checking account number. I have been in touch with my credit card and my father has been in touch with his bank. What a hassle! By the way, the Better Business Bureau gives them a D- rating.

I received a GiftRocket certificate and the process went very smoothly. The thing a lot of people who are commenting about them apparently are not understanding is that you actually receive the cash value of the GiftRocket, with a Suggestion to use it with a specified business/establishment. However, it is not a gift certificate redeemable at the specified store per se. This is unusual, but I thought it was a great idea because it is the "thought that counts" (my recommendation was for a day spa), but it doesn't bind you to that - you just get the money. I will use them for gifts for others!

I was given a gift via Giftrocket after participating in an interview for a class. What a great idea! I received a nice "Thank you" gift card but I got to CHOOSE where the gift card was from. Super easy process to select my gift card choose and it was delivered to my email inbox within 24 hours...fast like a rocket :) I'll definitely use this service myself. What a great idea!

We decided to redeem through Venmo, gift card show as redeemed, but money never transferred to Venmo acct. I will ask the person who gave us this GC to stop payment on this!

I received a GiftRocket Gift from an organization during a time of need. I had never heard of GiftRocket before receiving this gift. It was very easy to access (I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm not a technical person at all) I was so excited. I've been telling family, friends and even in the grocery when I converse with other people I tell them about GiftRocket. I usually would run in the grocery store and buy a gift card when I'm invited to a party or some occasion. Not any my. I'm going to be the most popular lady ever when I give a GiftRocket. GiftRocket is the best gift ever. My wishlist this Christmas will have one thing on it. Guess what that will be? A GiftRocket

Found this on-line attempting to get my in laws a gift card for a restaurant local to them. Said I could print a pdf file. Easy for them to take in. Nope. After you print your cute card there is a website THEY have to log into and print. I decided to do for them since they don't have computer access. Guess what--NOW I have the option of putting the money directly into their bank account (really? I could have just saved my $4.50/each and given them some impersonal cash!) for the restaurant I 'suggested' for them! The other option is to buy a give card from another company that I could have just given them a gift card for in the first place--saving money. Ended up sending the money back to myself. Waste of time and money.

This is a Fraud, I own a Garden Center, a customer recently came in with one of these, we have no idea how our name got on there. We weren't able to process her gift card. It's absolutely frustrating for everyone. We felt bad for that customer who got scammed.

Recently my sister who lives about 8 hrs drive from me was having surgery, we are both nurses so we have had the experience of patients feeling sick and watching flowers wilt and die. I chose to send my sister dinner. I send her a gift card thru Gift Rocket, it was amazingly easy to do and she had the gift right awY and was super please to have dinner delivered following her knee replacement. Gift Rocket is my new go to!

This is a complete and total scam! Went on website of a nice steakhouse (Hendricks Tavern on Long Island, who knew nothing about this process appearing on their website, which was also surprising) to purchase a $200.00 gift card. The website then sends us to Giftrocket to purchase the gift card. When trying to redeem it gave options of stores/restaurants to choose from and offered to mail the card to me. I chose a Nordstrom gift card since I just purchased the gift card at the restaurant. I was told my Nordstrom gift card would be arriving in a few days. That was more than 2 weeks ago. Calling MasterCard now to dispute the charge. When I emailed Giftrocket, I was given the opportunity to take a survey in a financial investment company; but nothing about my actual problem. Total scam. Buyer beware!
