Make sure you read befor purchasing. I sent myself a card just to see what my son would be receiving. You do have option to get gift card from a few select places otherwise you have to enter your bank account number to get cash transfer. Go on Amazon they offer better selection.
Great gift card option with tons of flexibility for recipient. I made an error when purchasing and submitted an order for $200.00 instead of $20.00.
I was super nervous that my email would go unanswered. Their team responsed to me within a few hours and my card was completely refunded and I received a personal email.

I received this from a friend, I had never received anything from GiftRocket before! At first I thought it was just a gift card to the local outlet mall we have but when I opened it, you can choose to send it straight to your bank OR a list of very popular stores and restaurants! So handy and so quick.
Easy to use, intuitive interface/platform. I liked that they had an option to send thank you note to the sender. The only downside is that the transfer of funds take too long but that seems to be the same issue with other similar apps/sites.
I could only use this card on line with any success. I tried several in store purchases and the card was just decline. I finally ended up using the card on line only. The representative via "email only" said my issue was user error. Giftrocket has tarnished the name of the company that contracted with them,
Total scam. Sent a gift for graduation, bank account was drafted, but no confirmation email or gift sent to recipient.
Received notice "successfully completed notice and confirmation number though" - hoax. Stay away! I only wish I had read reviews before using this site. I sent an email to support but no response!

I've received really probing questions about why I use them as if I'm wrong to do so and it's not like I have proof of friends graduations and stuff. Just really inapproriate to ask. And I have just had a card cancelled for no reason for the second time. The first time, I received no response from customer service and I'm not expecting one now either. I'm going to be using gyft.com from now on but I'll miss the 'real money' aspect of it.
I just tried to order a $50.00 gift card for an email birthday gift. The charge said 50.00 plus 4.00 for a fee. When I went to pay, my Chase Visa card was declined and a text alert said they tried to charge $5,350.00. Before the text came through from the bank, and without showing the dollar amount, their website said your card has been declined and to try another card. I was confused, but tried again, then switched to a Capital One card. Also denied. I called both banks, and they said this is a scam site. So be careful, everyone! They have a beautiful website that seems legit.
I was in a pinch because of course I am a procrastinator and needed to get my wonderful office manager something that I could pop on her desk so she come in in the morning and be surprised by. Gift Rocket was easy fast and oh so convenient! Will definitely use again!
We received a GiftRocket gift card as a thank you. I never heard of this before so it was all new to us. What a pleasant surprise when I opened it! The gift giver suggested I use this gift at one of our favorite local Italian stores OR we had the option of choosing a gift card somewhere else OR use the cash wherever we want. What an awesome gift! I love how the gift giver suggests a gift BUT we have the option to use wherever they want. Much more personal that just sending a visa gift card. I will definitely be using this in the future especially for family across the country. LOVE IT!
Tried to send a Biggby gift card as the actual site would not allow E-gift cards, It also stated could be used at the Biggby in Detroit, MI or other facilities... when my friend received the gift, it was not for Biggby and was giving options of other restaurants or the option to transfer to bank account! What a joke! Will never use this gift app again!
My son sent me a gift rocket for Mother's Day and I didn't use it right away... When I tried to open the original email last week, it didn't work... it took 5 days, 4 emails and 2 phone calls(you can only leave a voicemail). I heard from them yesterday and responded immediately... I still haven't gotten a reply, but I tried the original email this morning and it worked... I immediately chose an Amazon card... easiest to get... I would NEVER RECOMMEND using this company.
Tricked my daughter into purchasing a "gift card" for a certain business that would never accept anything they offer,I could have walked into a store and bought a gift card for much less and would have it in my hand plus it would be accepted anywhere visa/ mastercard are they border on a scam site
I sent a gift card through gift rocket on 13/21/22. The order was confirmed with a confirmation number and my American Express Card was charged for $107.00. The recipient still has not received the gift card to her email. I emailed gift rocket and also called and left a voicemail. No response! Now I have to dispute the charge in a long drawn out process with American Express. The worst part is the person never received their Christmas gift. I would not recommend using gift rocket... I feel like it's a scam. Gift Rocket explain yourself!

I have received gifts from giftrocket a few times before, each time the transaction into my PayPal account has been slower. From a couple hours to just over 25 hours. This time it has taken 2 days and still no email from PayPal. I have sent countless amount of emails to all the giftrocket addresses I could find and none of them have replied to a single one of them. The PayPal option is supposed to be the quietest transaction option, according to giftrocket it would be instant, clearly that is not the case for me. Very disappointing and will not be recommending this site to anyone from now on.
This is a great service. What makes it so great is that you do NOT need to leave you home to purchase it and the receiver can either choose to print it out as a gift card or transfer the funds into their bank account. Great for the holidays or any other gift giving day.
Giftrocket is the best place to get gift cards to send to anyone you want to. The service is awesome and i just received one and am looking forward to purchasing some for my family as well. I was led to believe that I could purchase a gift card to one of my father's favorite restaurants. However, that restaurant was not in the list of possibilities, a list I only saw after paying. I had to put the money back into my own bank account minus the $12 they charged for a service fee.

As a note, we like our cash gifts with a 'suggested use' better in part because there's no certificate to carry or risk losing and never any leftover or unused funds (regular gift cards are lost/wasted at about 30%!), all with the personal touch of a gift card/greeting card.
Sorry this may not have been what you were looking for this time, but hope you'll give us a shot when gifting (perhaps via email or for a last minute gif to someone e-commerce friendly) in the future!
We so appreciated the giftrocket GIFT. The gift allowed us to daughter and son-in-law out to wonderful dinner. He was hired to new job that starts next monday, having lost job 2 weeks ago due to long illness. Was a gracious, helpful gift.
I supposed to receive a 40$ gift card in the mail which I never received it. I emailed customer service and asked them to cancel previous one and let me redeem the new one. They swiftly replied and solved the problem. Thanks, GiftRocket!
