This is no gift card site. This is a bank transfer site that take a ridiculous fee. You buy a "gift card" that is not redeemable. Instead the recipient selects whether they want the gift amount moved on to their credit card or in their bank account. Save the fees and just give someone cash. BUYER BEWARE!
This place is scam. I did a google search to buy a gift certificate for a local restaurant and this place popped up in the listing advertising a gift card for this specific restaurant. I then specifically purchased a gift card for this restaurant.
However when it was sent to the recipient, all she got was a list of about 20 national restaurants she could choose from or the option of just getting the money I spent sent to her directly with a "suggestion" that she go and spend it at the restaurant I thought I was buying the gift card for!
I will be challenging this purchase through my credit card company.
I received a birthday gift through GiftRocket, and I really appreciated the flexibility I was afforded in how to redeem that gift. I imagine that was one of the big draws for my gift-givers, too. I certainly will consider using it myself for sending gifts, and certainly will recommend it to others. Thanks!
I ordered a gift certificate from Gift Rocket for my daughters birthday. They sent an email to her on her birthday but she could not open the attachment/certificate. Since you can't contact a human being at Gift Rocket, I sent an email to their customer service. Two days later, they sent a email to me saying that my daughter must change her cookies settings on her computer which accomplished nothing. In my opinion, Gift Rocket is a sham and a rip-off.

I ordered a gift card on Dec. 12th, and the money was withdrawn from my account. So far, I have yet to receive it! It's supposed to come in an e-mail. I have sent an e-mail to the company like he recording says, but haven't received any response. So, I'm waiting. This is a Christmas gift for my daughter! I will be going to the Better Business Bureau about this company if they do not step up and do the right thing! I will update on this site if this company honors its commitment. I think seven days is a bit long to wait for an e-mail!
My 5 year old son told me what to write in the message to my soon to be husband, and it was so cute what he told me " I can't wait for you to be my daddy" was one of the lines. It made the gift so much more wonderful. My boyfriend loved it. We will definitely use it again

I used this website for the first time to send our granddaughter a birthday gift. The website is easy to use and our granddaughter immediately received her gift on the day. No package to wrap. No money spent on postage. No wondering if she would receive her gift on time. Will definitely use again.
Sent a gift card to my brother for his favorite restaurant. He received it and was told he had to provide his bank account info, which he refused to do. I expected he could redeem the card at the restaurant, which was not the case. Won't use again!
I told my roommate that she would love uncles chung's resturaunt, and I will give her a gift card for that place as a going away gift. I ordered it online. But no! The print out is not a gift card at all! It says the the giver recommends the restaurant. She can either give up her bank info for a 25 dollar money transfer into her account, or choose a gift card from other businesses not even including uncle chung's. They also charged me a 6 dollar service fee that you don't see till after you pay. What a selfish joke! If I knew this scheme, I would have just walked into the restuarant and bought a gift card!

My son lives across the country. I usually send him gift certificates. I buy them here and mail them. When I decided at the last minute to send him a small food gift certificate (buy him lunch), I discovered Gift Rocket. I love it! Goes right through without all the hassle.
This site is a scam. I got a gift certificate for Ox restaurant for my sister in Portland Oregon. They emailed her the certificate but she could not use it. They wanted her bank account to deposit the money into her account. Who wants to give her bank account to them. What in the world is this considered a gift certificate.

I had searched and search for an online gift certificate to a local restaurant. No luck. Then I found GiftRocket. It was easy. It had cute certificates. It was prompt. It even gave the recipient an easy way to say thanks.

Once I could find a specific business in a specific city. Now I am confined to giving cash because the website "cannot locate" any business in any city close by. This has changed from the past. Sadly, I won't be using this once amazing website, as the convenience has gone away.
A few days ago I bought a gift card. 2 days later for a personal reason I decided to cancel the gift, and sent an-email asked for the cancellation. Immediately got the answer that it was not a problem. The transaction has been cancelled, and a few days later I got my money back.

At 8 pm I realized it was the eve of my sister and her husband's 60 th anniversary. Due to COVID concerns they No longer eat out but do enjoy take out. In 10 minutes I had a gift delivered to their favorite restaurant allowing them to celebrate their anniversary. They were both extremely pleased and honored. 10 minutes and I didn't leave my house!
It is so easy to send money to my grand kids and any one else I need to send. When I receive funds, they know right where to send it with the click of a couple of buttons.
It is inexpensive and anonymous if I need it to be. Awesome service.
