They sold me a $500 gift card that had 1 penny value. They responded via email within 2 days saying they would refund the money spent but have failed to do so over the last three months. I have written back and forth with them but they have made excuses or not answered the many emails.

I buy a lot of gift cards especially for restaurants. I purchased about $500 for BJ's Restaurant last October. We usually go out once a week or so, not as much around the holidays.
I tried using a gift card over the weekend and I was told that this was already used. A very embarrassing situation. Order # BO-******* on 09/14/2018 BJ's restaurant Brewhouse for $50.00 card # **************258 pin # 6959 The manager was able to look this up and said it was used on 12/21/2018 in Miami. I didn't want my money back or anything, I just wanted something that worked.
There I was buying a cheap gift card, thinking I saved 10% but in reality lost 100% instead.
Everything went smooth, I got my email confirmation, got the gift card, and then I try to use it - denied!
Their phone number doesn't pick up. Their email doesn't even give me an automatic reply to let me know there's a case number or any sort of receipt or acknowledgement of my claim. You'd think this site is legit because it's featured in many places, has promo codes, and their return policy sounds perfect. But no, it's a total crapshoot. Sounds like it works for some not for others - I'd expect good customer service at the very least.
Otherwise shut it down! Unbelievable.

My Einstein Brothers card, turns out, was used 3 states over, a week after I purchased it.
My Panda Express giftcard requires a pin, which I never received, and after several inquiries, don't think i will.

Unfortunately, I did nod do my homework before placing order. Sure enough, as described in many previous reviews, the order was canceled by GiftCardSpreader without any explanation within few hours after initial placement. I suspect that company may be collecting a personal info.
I went to Gift Card Spread to offer them two gift cards. I got an email acknowledging my offer which said "We're looking into it and assure you an answer within 24 hours. It's a GCS promise!" 24 hours later and no response. 24 days later and still no response. Finally, 40 DAYS LATER, I get a response. By that time, the gift cards were long since sold to a competitor who actually closed the deal within 48 hours. If you have to wait 40 DAYS for a response, why bother at all?
I uploaded and sold them a buffalo wild wings $25 gift card. Sent proof of ID. I sent countless emails about payment and received an email that they were sending payment. That was two months ago. I never received anything.
I purchased two $50 gift cards to PF Changs. They were both delivered via email. When I paid my bill I was informed by the manager that both cards had a zero balance. Fortunately I had only purchased them the day before and was able to call my credit card company and stop payment on the bogus gift cards. I called Gift Card Spread and left a message but I have not heard any reply from them. BUYER BEWARE.
Stay away from this website. Ordered a gift card and I NEVER received it. Called customer service who did nothing about it, which concludes that they cannot do their jobs correctly. The company is a disaster and sell fraudulent gift cards.
Ordered a gift card, site stated would received be e delivered within 1 day. Didn't happen! 50 hours later I was able to get a refund maybe... said it would take 3 days to receive the refund. I am always amazed how they can take your money in seconds but takes days to return it we will see. Be careful
This company is not worth your money or time. They sold me a gift card to Denny's for 89.00. I did not use it for a few months until we went out of town. It was no good and I found out that the amount was removed just 30 days after I purchased it. Gift card spread would not honor it and you can hardly get them to answer your emails and they definitely do not return phone calls. Don't buy cards from them!
I was sold a 75.00 gift card to Black Angus that had zero balance. I was told at the restaurant there was an incident in early 2017 of illegally obtained BA gift cards. GC spread refused to refund my money. I get the refund expiration period but this is not buyers remorse this is a questionable transaction, to begin with. I will not be buying from GC spread again and I will review them on every site I can find with this information.
I tried to purchase a movie ticket using gift cards purchased at giftcardspread.com and ended up entirely frazzled with the vendor and its website checkout process. I was frustrated then I called giftcardspread to see why I might be having so many problems. Then rep to be exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to help sort things and the problem(s) resided with the seller and not gift card spread. Thank you!
Cards were provided at a significant (but realizable) discount & shipped (after - what at the time was an undocumented - identitiy verification step).
I have called and emailed several times with a problem that was not giftcardspread's fault, but they still helped me out and were very welcoming the entire time. I would definitelydo business with giftcardspread.com again.

I usually sell gift cards to cardpool, but chose GCS this time because they were offering slightly more money.
BIG MISTAKE.
I initiated a sale on July 7,2018. Apparently, you don't simply sell, you 'submit an offer' for how much you're willing to sell for (which they don't make clear). They claim they will respond to your 'offer' within 24 hours.
They FINALLY accepted my 'offer' on July 15. And that is likely only because I emailed them.
I provided all the required information immediately. And waited to get paid.
And waited. And waited.
On the last possible day (per their guidelines), July 31, they issued my check. Great!
August 9, I still haven't received it. It mails from Chicago, I live in New York. It doesn't take that long for mail to go from Chicago to NY. I suspect that it hasn't left their facility yet.
I called today to ask about it, and they say I should have it on/by Aug 14 (literally 5 WEEKS after initiating this ordeal). I expect that I will get it no earlier than the 14th.
Don't expect this site to send your gift card when you need it. They are beyond slow to send it, whereas their competition has somehow unlocked the magically method of getting it to you almost immediately. Go somewhere else for your discounted gift cards. This site sucks. Also, they tend to send gift cards that have no balance. They will refund you but it is an unnecessary inconvenience.
