Submitted a large order on Dec 1. Charge hit my card on Dec 2. Estimated ship date was Dec 5. It is now Dec 15 and I have no cards. After numerous calls and emails all week, on hold at least 30 minutes each time, and not one call back as promised, I am told today that there was a glitch and my cards were not able to be printed (when I was told all week that they were printed and awaiting shipping), and my order was canceled and credit card was credited. Except my credit card has not been credited! Do not order from Gift Card Mall -
I ordered a Safeway Ecard for a gift for the purpose of being able to send it to myself, print it, and stick it in a card and send out same day. The email with the gift card came right away which pleased me. However, everytime I went to "Redeem" I got an error message on the giftcardmall.com website. I was trying prior to the 3 hours it said it could take so I stopped trying and decided to send it out next day. Next day comes, I try to redeem it and no luck again. So I call, they say theyll escalate it to their level 2 management and I should hear from them within 3-5 business days. HA! I wanted this thing same day. So i request to cancel. And I'm told it takes 7-15 days to receive a refund. Joking right? No. Ill can wait for the refund but I will NEVER ever try to buy another gift card from them again. Way to lose a potential repeat customer losers.
It takes this company so LONG to process a simple egift card. It takes them days! Who is running this company? And who is running their IT systems? It should take a modern company less than 1 hour to process an order.
Egift card was promised the same day, next day told it would be delivered the following day, the following day I was told it would be delivered in 10 days, meanwhile they charged my card. I called to reverse charges, two reps hung up in me. I called my bank and the band reversed the charges, never use this company.
Ordered three gift cards from GiftCardMall. It took 10 days to be received. GiftCardMall sends the gift card to the receiver but they send the activation code to the orderer. In other words the receiver is unable to utilize the card until they contact the orderer for the activation code. Guess what, I still have not received the activation codes. When I talked to supervisor at GiftCardMall he told me I should receive the activation codes soon (he hopes)! They took the money out of my account within 24 hours and I still haven't received the gift card activation codes. This is ridiculous, I asked them to email me the codes and they "can't". What a scam. Do NOT order from GiftCardMall, I NEVER will again. Amazon should not offer their services on their site.
If at any point a seller / merchant issues you a refund, you will lose money outright. This service doesn't handle returning funds to cards well (arguably at all).
You can dispute a transaction, but the process is convoluted, time consuming, and, in the end, pointless since you're not guaranteed any return of funds.
If you get one of these cards as a gift, try your best to get the money off the card quickly by pulling out cash at checkout or by transferring balances using PayPal or Venmo.
Alternatively, if you have the option as to whether or not you get of these cards in the first place...

I ordered a gift card for my daughter. Immediately when I placed the order, I received a fraud alert from my bank via text, email and a phone call. When I asked the bank rep. What the fraud was about he simply asked if I made the purchase. I said yes and he authorized the transaction. Needless to say, I never received the gift card. When I called, they stated they do not have tracking numbers and couldn't tell me where the card was. They said they could refund my money and said it would take up to 30 days. Forget that... I contacted my bank immediately and they are launching a fraud investigation!
Someone else got to use my birthday money! There's no way to communicate with a person, so once it's gone, you're stuck.
Received at $50 gift card for Christmas and tried to use it in March and it wouldn't go through. Finally registered it on 5/5/22 because on the back it needed to be registered. Today I tried to use 8/8/22.
Would not go through at the store so came home and called the number in the card. No money left in the card. Charges were made on 5/5/22 for clothing(Dimensionalen.com and Google play. Could not report a fraud because it was over 60 days since the purchase was posted in that card. I wish I knew where to report this credit card company named Blackhawk. Cheating many people out of money. Beware of that name on a credit card and do not register it until you are ready to use it within minutes or it will be gone.
I needed to buy a gift card fast, so I thought this was the perfect website to do this. I wish that I had read reviews to how awful this website really is. I didn't want to make an account, so i checked out as a guest. It then told me that the e-delivery would take more than a day to send. So i decided to make an account using the same email. It was working perfectly until i logged out, and wanted to log back in. It didn't work, and I know I wasn't putting my password wrong because I had logged in before. I couldn't hit forget password, because it said an error has occurred. I even made a new account using the same Email i used to order my things. I called the number and they couldn't help me at all. So i just cancelled the order all together. They suck.
I paid $200 for a Safeway/Vons grocery gift card. Got an email with my order #, called GCM to ask if that was all I needed, expecting a bar code or QR code to scan at the store at checout. In spite of a customer service rep who continually claimed he could not hear me "bad connection", he finally told me that was all I needed. Went to store first time, they said they knew nothing, asked my why no bar code, said I needed to come back and talk to a manager. I did. The store manager she had no idea what it was, so we called GCM together. Again rep could not hear us "bad connection" and finally hung up on us, although we could hear her fine. I rechecked my email searching for GCM... a new email with a barcode! Have not gone back to the store for the THIRD TIME yet.
I purchased a gift card and paid extra $13 for two day delivery on Dec 18. Today December 26 party has not received their card and giftcard mall says it's at UPS getting a label on it, and that could take up to 5 days, they have no control of it now. I paid extra for rush delivery so they could put it in someone's hand and not be able to track it? UNACCEPTABLE. My advice, buy your own gift card and walk it to the post office and pay LESS than $13 for two day delivery. I will NEVER will use them again.
Thinking I had a found an easy way to order personalized visa gift cards for neices and nephews for Christmas this year - boy was I wrong! They mailed the wrong cards to the wrong people, customer service - useless! I had to pay to have the cards shipped back to the right locations (thanks to my family members taking them to FedEx for me) they were still late do to the companies inabilities to follow the shipping instructions provided for the cards. Seriously, four cards, two addresses? One of the cards got to the correct location - the rest had to be resent on my dime. Oh, customer service - seriously it took them 4 weeks to even get back to me - four week? Horrible - buyer beware, do not buy!
I placed an order on 10/24 and on 10/25 the order status said processed. When the status didn't change to shipped by 11/8, I called and told that it was on the way and to call back if I didn't receive it by 11/18. I called today, 11/14 because the status still did not say shipped. I was told that there was a glitch in the system and that the orders were shipping today. I received an email this afternoon saying that due to a system problem my order wasn't processed; but was cancelled. It also said I could place a reorder. I called and asked why they couldn't process it and I was told that I had to reorder and that my refund would be processed in 3-6 days. Don't waste you time; and don't tie up your money! In my case it was $547!
I order an eGift card for my sister's birthday in Jan. The company sent me an email with an imagine of fake gift card for Emagine Theaters. It is now March I called, my sister called and emailed the company multiple times they said they would refund my money. Haven't received a refund or an eGift card. They are a scam. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and Emagine Theaters.
Purchased a Target egiftcard at 8:24 am, received confirmation at 8:24 am andat 9:29 am I received an email that my order has been cancelled. I called customer service and they had no explanation why it was cancelled... yes, my card was already charged at this point!
I bought a giftcard with a tracking number. The giftcard was delivered and The tracking number came after the giftcard was delivered. If I had read the reviews I had never bought a giftcard from this website. I called thrm to refund the money for the tracking, and the told " it may take up to 10 days to be reviewed and it is NOT garanteed that the money would be returned." They are not serious.
I bought 4x$25 dollar cards as I couldn't find the $100 card on the display at my local store. I found them the following week and asked if I could exchange due to the (in light print and not noticible) fee of 3.95 per card which I didnt notice at the time. Store said I could go onto giftcardmall.com and they would be happy to refund. Nope, they are not at all happy to refund, in fact it keeps saying my numbers are invalid and I cant even get anyone on the phone. Will never use them again!
I purchased one of their giftcards at a major grocery store, activated it that night. I went to uae it the next day and the balance was zero. Icalled themand went online and did a chat and they said they couldn't help me. Scammers are waiting for you to buy and rhen you're $#*! our of luck. As advertised, the VISA gift card NEVER worked. Contacted the one of the useless customer services. The card only works in 80 stores. I am not sure why US govt. Allows this kind of web site to do business allowing to cheat on customers. NEVER BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS Website.
Answer: Mine NEVER worked at any store or online. I am still trying but not optimistic.
