We dedicated Friday dinner to fish at McDonald GE. Went out of town for 4 months and came back to a frozen patty of who knows what. So very disappointing. I don't know how to upload pics or receipts. I am not interested in $ back. I will not buy it anymore. SAD

The store may be good but the pharmacy needs a new manager. Why should I wait 3 days for refills on my prescriptions? I have been having problems with refilling my prescriptions so I switched to 90 day prescriptions. Yesterday I called in 5 prescription refills. Today only 2 prescriptions were filled. It doesn't do any good to complain because the manager is young and does not care about customer service. Ditto the store manager. The whole pharmacy should be overhauled. I will have to move my prescriptions elsewhere for better service.

Shaler Giant Eagle has the worst customer service out of anywhere, the managers are a joke and the employees are the same. The deli does not close until 5pm but yet they stop slicing meat at 430 to clean the one last slicer out of the 5 they have? The sliced meats are horrible and the just re package them day to day so they sell. Giant eagle needs some serious help with customer service. Dollar tree has better service then here

The elyria Ohio giant eagle has the worst customer service people I have ever encountered.The one lady named presilla is very rude.

Kenna was so helpful! She has a great attitude and it's obvious she loves to help her customers! She's one of the reasons I chose to shop at this Giant Eagle location. She is extremely delightful and I love her wonderful smile! I must say the rest of the employees are great as well!

Giant Eagles North Olmsted location replaced the self checkout lanes with a new totally ridicules design!
After you scan the groceries you have to put it in a bag because there is no were else for it to go. This slows down the progress and slows down the line! I usually do the scanning and my wife bags. The new set up may be fine for a few groceries but when your buying 300.00 worth is not a great ideal, There is no flow. There are few regular check out lines but the lines were backed up down by the grocery shelves blocking other people from shopping. What a terrific ideal! In spite of the customers doing all the work the prices are not any better. In fact there produce is the worst I have ever seen. Most of the fruit is either nor ripe, soft or bruised! There is stuff that is pre-bagged always more then you want to buy. Some of the stuff in the bags is already bad 80% of the time. I am tired of getting home and having to throw out part of my purchase. There was a very small selection of plumb that were all bad in the bags and the loose ones were bruised and soft also. Giant Eagles buyers need to get up earlier to buy better stuff? If your buying apples sometimes your okay, but you have to be careful because there bruised also especially Granny Smith. In general the produce department is the worst department in the whole store. People just get complacent and tolerate it. There are discount places near by that actually have better stuff and prices.

Ihave been shopping at giant eagle for 40 years and I have never encountered such a rude person at a giant eagle.

I worked for them for a short time in North Ridgville, OH. I was hired on an 8:30-2:30 shift and then a few weeks go by and they out of nowhere change it to 10-7! I CANT work those hours because of my daughter. I got bumped down to 1 day a week as a "punishment"? Who is going to work 1 day a week? It's POINTLESS! Then after I quit? I GOT SUCH ATTITUDE FROM THE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK THERE! It MAKES ME SICK! I WONT EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN ILL SPEND MY $$ ELSEWHERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER TREATMENT AND A TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK! I'm a widow trying to START OVER! It was A HORRIBLE experience!

I was a big fan of Giant Eagle's homestyle chicken salad until recently. The recipe has obviously been changed. The chicken is too chunky and the dressing is bland. There is an old saying,
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Several people who I recommended this salad to are also unhappy.
Any chance the original recipe can make a comeback?

3 weeks out of any month and food is at its normal price range but come the week food stamps come out man food prices take a jump Wall street only dreams of having.19 years as a truck driver and I never really paid attention but now that I've become disabled because of job and I get food stamps it's like clock work prices go up as high as $3 dollars to more then that and it's disgusting that this company only makes the poor poorer.I understand free enterprise but this isn't that it's straight highway robbery with little of any concern if any for the poor as long as that 2 week old hamburger who's date has changed 3 times now and it's barely legal to sell gets sold to the desperate thinking they are getting a deal because of the BS discount on the tag,hell it's almost not good enough to give to an animal and don't say no because I know people who work there.But because I paid into social security and I get a check because I can't work any longer but welfare says my income is unearned so I barely get any food stamps,I still can't figure that outy income is unearned after I've paid it in breaking my back literally to turn around to be stuck up at a register at giant eagle,I thought price gouging was illegal because this is the only time prices get jacked so high we barely walk out with anything and it happens same time every month without fail.Think they care of people can make it or not?no because of they did why would you have arrested someone taking tortilla shells? Obviously the guy was hungry because no drug dealer wants 1 pack of shells,how much longer will we turn our backs on those who have nothing only to double the price so come the end of the month a family goes hungry because of corporate greed for less then adequate products,your going to throw it away any way so give it to save someone or a kid from going hungry.Its really sad and disgusting that after paying cash for 19 years I like so many others have to endure a total lack of respect to be looked at like I'm less then human because I have to use food stamps to only buy food that if not sold that day gets tossed out,and kids eat this crap it's a no wonder our nations children lack the proper diet because I do also due to no fault of my own.But wait they donate to the community,even if it's stale bread you give birds and donuts you can hammer nails in with,thanks so generous from a multi million dollar business.I pray that the powers that be will have a chance to experience the same thing,greed will be the dismantling of corporate greed and the line between eating healthy and what we buy during food stamp week is a very thin line and I hope to 1 day be in line to turn to see those who treated us like less then human in line to get the same treatment.If people could buy just the bare minimum to get to the next week then go and spend every last dollar on the same items except they'll be 3 plus dollars less and we could get more and show corporate that we to can play the game but come out with fresh food and more of it,the government should come in and fine these stores buy the thousands for this kinda pricing during the week of food stamps but even the government don't give a fat donkeys $#*! about the poor so maybe one day the tides will change,happy slopping.

I stole something a year ago i was 12 and i got caught i am now 13 going on 14. Writeing about how stealing taught me a good lesson.the cops came i was scared my mom had to take off of work to get me and she is a nurse and a single mom of 3 kids. That was the first time i saw her cry and i told myself i would never do it again Im writeing this because it taught me a lesson to work for what i want instead of stealing.even though they where mean thats there job and i appreciate that because without that meaness i probably would have done it again i also want to thank the person that said something about me stealing because without them i probably would still be doing it now im 13 now about to be 14 and i told myself when i was 12 that i would write them a good review because how much that day effected me for the better and i know its kinda funny me writeing a review about me stealing but i really appreciate them for that. Thank you :)

So it's a regular ol' Wednesday not a holiday nothing special and at peak hours ( 6pm) and their beer sales are closed. STUPID! Just really dumb, especially since there were about 6 giant eagle employees sitting in the Cafe at that exact moment, so it's not like they are under staffed... its just dumb... and everything is super expensive there anyway, these are the reasons I shop at small local places that are reliable and not some mega Corp that just sux! So dumb

This shop has at least two big problems. The first is that the prices it shows (if you go into the shop) are not the same as the prices that are scanned - and the strange thing is that, the price that scans is always HIGHER - if it was by chance, you would assume half would be higher and half would be lower. But ALL are higher. So I think that Giant Eagle just assumes that they can trick customers, who never remember the price they saw on the shelf. But I do remember. The other thing is that, after a customer (I) finds the price is higher than on the shelf, even to get a refund of 10c, Giant Eagle takes about 20 minutes to give you your 10c back. So they make it so that the customer has no protection! So my method is to just get up and leave if the price is wrong, and let the employees (who are probably miserable as well in that shop) deal with the mess.

It doesn't matter what department you shop in, employees are extremely rude, could care less about customers and are rude, obnoxious and can't think ahead to prepare for bakery or deli goods after a holiday.
