I have an above ground pool with a few leaks- tried the spray- didn't work- bought the 5" wide tape- didn't work- tried the 12" tape- didn't work- tried the Flex Paste- didn't work- and my pool only has a few inches of water in it- I would be worried what would happen when I fill it all the way up.
Don't waste your money on ANY of these products- a total waste of time and money.
I had a pool that had a tear in it. I immediately thought of this becasue they have a commercial saying they nuilt a boat out of this. NO WAY! The boat will sink! There is no way they did that. That is an out right lie. I went to put a patch on both sides of the pool and it didn't even stick. Definately not waterproof. I was a total waste of time money and effort. I called up to let them know and they started to give me all excuse why I was doing it wrong! Really how hard is it to stick a piece of tape over a hole to cover it! I didn't bother to get my money back first they say they will refund minus the shipping and second everyone is saying they are waiting and waiting for it. Just not worth it for me. I can get a headache somewhere else. The product alone was crap enough and the customer service wasn't much better. Total disappointment all the way around.
Same Here. Deceptive web site, all legitimate sites allow you to review your order after it was submitted. Stay away from these bait and switch sites.
I have bought several different versions of this product and none of them have worked! Same on me for trying it after the first project did not work! Save your money, resist buying
If this product was 1% effective as their commercials...
Doesn't work for crap. Tried it on an RV, instead of turning a flexible cocking, turned into hard and impossible to work with crap.
FLEX SEAL JORDANIAN BASED SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM WITH AMERICAN $$$.
DO NOT BUT THESE PRODUCTS.
REPOST AND REPOST
Now ask yourself- do any of the products actually fit any scenario you would be subjected to?
They use elaborate scheming scenarios the common user would never be subjected to like the latest 'giant' of an idiot sealing a leaking water tower- because it is so extreme and unbelievable as to make one believe would work in smaller instances- all lies and bull$#*!.
Read the reviews before buying and consider where the money goes supporting terrorism on a global scale.
I used it on air filled inflatables with a small leak, does not seal hole and months later still wet to the touch and come off in hands and anything it touches. Terrible product, stay away!
Got a tub of it, used 1 time, followed instructions, hardened and 1-2 " thinks wasted...! Co. Was not very helpful to resolve! 1 time use only AT BEST.
I tried using flexseal spray to seal a couple of small cracks in a basement wall. It took 3 to 4 cans to achieve a buildup of only 1/16". Had to keep buying more and it's expensive! The coating was very brittle after it cured and was not flexible at all. The odor in my basement lingered for days even after ventilating with windows and fans. I ended up just chiseling it off the wall because it did not seal the cracks at all and cracked badly. I would not recommend anyone using this stuff! It's totally worthless and the smell! Omg! Looks good on TV but don't fall into the trap like I did. I used a fibered roofing cement and had much better success for alot less money.
Bought the clear spray and tape and one was worse than the other the spray didnt voat the hole in the p trap and the tape kept bunching up needing a strong utility knife to cut it, i ended up loosing 40 dollars, just very dissapointed i contacted the company sent pictures bills wrote a sheet about what they wanted to know and they kept telling me there computers are not working, all i wanted was a refund or some compinsation because they stand by there product on tv, this is very very terrible.
I just ordered a can and when you submit your order they start putting all this other stuff up there and there is no zero quantity for you to select. I hate to see what I will get for a bill fo rthe one can I ordered. I will let you know when I receive it. I have never ordered anythin g you could not get a receipt for. Something needs to be corrected and furthemore you cannot talk to a person.
I got a roll of flexseal so I could fix the small holes in my pool I emptied it out and waited for the pool to dry before applying the tape and this morning u started to fill the pool and the places I patched still leaked hell the gorilla tape worked better this flexseal!
Money trowen away $#*!in $#*! spayed on the side of my steps still leak under the kitchen on the side thay said it seals leaks seal $#*! cant get my money back if so i be paying shiping and handling changes i be giving them more money $#*!in $#*! dont get
This is for all the people that have horses I had three but I have two now one's died and I don't know why but I know that the Flex Seal was floating around in her water trough and I dumped it right away which I should have took a picture of cuz it freaked me out that she would suck it down or one of the other horses would and it peeled off like crazy and I've used the clear and the other one and it did not stop the leaks on the water troughs it's I have bag full it's all over the yard do not use this for your animals if they suck it up it going to kill them no I don't have proof of purchase I threw the cans away I don't keep receipts forever everywhere you go they say use Flex Seal well I have now I have a dead horse and I can't say why because I don't know for sure but it's a possibility and it's still all over my yard I have a whole bag of that stuff once it gets wet for a couple weeks it starts where it's leaking it starts peeling off
Tried spray on interior of a decorative wood bowl to use as a planter for hens & chicks. I waited 3-4 days to be sure of thorough dry time, prior to adding soil and plants. Within 1-2 weeks dirt, plants were covered in mildew (whitish/grey fuzzy powdery). Because the plants are succulents I didnt water much at all, yet mildew covered soil & plants, and plants were turning black and dying. Had to throw out plants and soil. Photos show mildew on bowl.
Later we decided to try a small can of liquid rubber before spending $90 for a gallon. Planned to use it for waterproofing a plywood roof for a doghouse. I even called Flex Seal company to verify use and was assured it would work and would not mildew. I never got a chance to see if it would mildew like spray, but did try it on a scrap piece of plywood. Over 48 hours later, (recommended cure time), I tested with finger and then fingernail. The thinner area rolled right off wood and fingernail easily scratched thicker area off.
Not sure what others might use these products for, but I would highly recommend testing first. Both products were a waist of money for both projects. Hope this helps anyone thinking of using for similar projects.
Just glance at all the bad reviews. That should tell you to not even consider this stuff. I wish I had never heard of it. Anything I can say has already been said by all the other reviewers, so let me close by saying...
DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!
IF YOU USE IT, YOU'LL BE SORRY
P.S. The "positive" reviews are mostly shills writing fakes to offset all the bad reviews.
Wife and I tried Flexseal on our motorhome. We did the roof and edge seals. WOW! This was the best $160.00 we've ever spent on repairs. After a several torrential downpours. NO LEAKS. Totally dry. Not one drip! Thank you Flexseal FOLKS... THIS PRODUCT DOES AS PHIL SWFT CLAIMS 100%!
I bought the 5' roll of clear flex seal tape and was going to fix a small spot on the bottom of my boat and I even cleaned the area really good let it dry overnight applied the tape it looked to be stuck good and seal off put the boat in the water the next day and the tape peeled loose in several places and was leaking glad I caught it when I did would have sunk my boat
In other words I would not waste my money on this product it is misleading that it will fix boats
Doesn't works on small holes, but how u fix a big one?!
Bad product, and price is too high!
Spend 48 hours to fix a small hole, 0.******* inc - 2 mm hole! Never works!
Answer: I would highly recommend NOT using anywhere around moisture. I experienced mildew growing on product.
Answer: No. Recommend you use eternabond sealant and then eternabond tape and skip this garbage.
