I needed to stop water from seeping through the mortar at the bottom of a brick wall. It has just gotten wet but the rain had stopped. I tried to spread it in the seam between the brick and concrete floor. It immediately pulled away and followed my putty knife wadding into a pile of goo. I could not get it to stay on the horizontal or vertical surface and it would not stick in the joint.
Junk junk junk!
Flex seal is a great product but way over price and hard to get in any kind of volume such as home depot etc. Went to my local store to purchase this product for a roof job and the biggest paste product that they had was a pint and way over priced. Overall it great product but price and availability sucks
Do not waste your money or time with this product! It does not work above water level and specially not below. That is a guarantee you can take to the bank. Maybe, only maybe if you were to drink a couple of gallons of it. It might seal your rectum. But I seriously doubt it. This is the worst product on the market. DO NOT BUY!
Don't order the flex seal paste because they'll take your money but good luck getting the product. I'm so anger by this I have like all the products I have tried but never will I buy a flex seal product again. I don't support crooks! It's been about a month and just get the run around.
We used to get water in our basement prior to having a French Drain installed. After the French Drain was installed we thought it would be a smart idea to use Flexseal. Now it's chipping off the floor everywhere and it's unpaintable. We spent $800 at $87/ gallon. We'd love to sue this company for false advertising. Stay away from this overpriced product! This was our worst investment ever and now we must pay a contractor to remove it so we can paint our floor
I put the flex Seal tape on my leaky hose. It didn't work at all I just found went to the end of the tape and started leaking out of the tape. Plus every other experience I've had with the spray as well doesn't work at all. This product is crap!

I used flex seal sealant it worked good. I had some left in the can put it in basement where it is cool with my other paint it's been sitting there for almost 8 month I went in the basement and noticed a boat sawed in half fixed with flex seal
I bought this product to fix a water leak on a PVC pipe. Not only did it not stop the leak but I am now struggling with trying to get the flex seal off so I can properly fix the leak. No one to blame but me for my current situation I was trying to take the easy way out. This product did not work for me if you buy it I hope you have better luck. Doesn't seem to work on PVC.
This product is misrepresented. I ordered it and it took almost a month to come in. I used it once for a small project. It worked ok, but I got some on my hand and it didn't come off for days. I resealed the container exactly as it arrived and when I went to use it two weeks later for a larger project, it was completely dried up and hard as a rock. I had to throw it away. I emailed the company to get my money refunded and nobody ever got back to me. This product is a money scam and does not work. Don't waste your money.
Baoght a roll of flex tape for roof leak which they showed outing on wet roof, does not stick at all.
Got a tube of flex glue which they say has instant grab, left it for 48 hrs. And it still didn't hold
I bought flex glue thinking it would work like they show on tv but it does not work like they say it held for a hole 2 minutes saying it will hold over a 1000 ft pounds but would not hold 5 pounds not good products ended up using in weld to fix the back of tvwhere the plastic broke at mount
Bought a squeeze tube of flex seal and literally had to put it on the ground and step on it to get anything out. No way you gould spread it had to pick up a ball with my fingers and try to fill a crack. The rest is in the garbage--$12 + dollars wasted
Wish I had read these reviews BEFORE purchasing this product. I ordered 2 3lb tubs which took forever to arrive. The box was smashed and there was only one tub with the bottom of it split open. Emailed the company, they apologized and would send a replacement order right away. Wow, a week later, here it is! But wait, there's more! In the nicely packaged box 2 1lb tubs yes that's 1lb when the packing says clearly says 3lb. So I have paid over $50 for 2lbs of crap. HARD lesson learned.
All the items I've tried are no better than stuff costing less than half as much. Tried the paste recently $13 for a lot less coverage than a tube of silicone caulk and I had to order it online. The tape is pure crap, the spray worked fairly well but was expensive. All of them are a complete waste of time and money!
I used this product on my water leak as recommended and this product does NOT work miracles, as advertised. After three good coats and over 48 hours time to cure, the water leak did not go away, it only slowed it down. This is a junk product.
I have a leak in a plastic pool float and tried the spray and gel Flex Seal to fix and neither product worked. In fact, they left a sticky goo on the float. It's my wife's favorite and I thought, based on the TV ads, Flex Seal would work. IT DID NOT! Those two products were not cheap. Probably could have purchased another float for what I spent on Flex Seal. What a waste.
Initially to use on a crack in my RV roof. Before I could do that I had a drip in my grey water tank.
So I opened the tub and slogged on a good amount of paste. It NEVER stopped the drip.
So I emailed the company and they sent a for that wanted time, date, temperature, before and after pictures,
A video and copies of the receipt. I wrote them back and told them this was BS. They then responded
That they could send me a refund if I sent pictures of the tub and the receipt.
Today I opened the tub to fix the crack and the product was rock hard. I had replaced their plastic insert and seal the tub tight.
FTC needs to shut these jerks down. Anyone want to join me in a lawsuit.?
Bought the flexseal and the flexseal tape. Utter and complete garbage, so frustrated at myself for falling for this scam. Now I know why I see these commercials at 3:00 am. Sure, it can hold a speedboat together doing 50 knots, but it can't keep my garden hose from leaking. This company should be ashamed of itself.
The flex tape is nothing but a scam and a rip off. Very little tape for t+e price. They are paying for huge advertising to draw the co; sumer, then, cheat them. But, then, again, every business in our country is out to scam every citizen.
I tried 4 times to check the status of my order by return email as instructed on Flex Seal order confirmation. Never received any replies. Finally called company on June 8 and was told order would be shipped after it was processed. I ordered on May 26 and Flex Seal charged my card on May 29 but still hadn't processed the order as of June 8. They could not tell me when the order would be processed or shipped. I cancelled the order. This is the worst online buying experience I have ever had. I talked to "Daisy" when I called. She was completely unhelpful and argumentative.
Answer: I would highly recommend NOT using anywhere around moisture. I experienced mildew growing on product.
Answer: No. Recommend you use eternabond sealant and then eternabond tape and skip this garbage.
