I can't really rate this switch on quality or value because I do not know if it is a genuine Samsung part or not. The Samsung DG44-*******A switch that was advertised on GRP website was a blue Invensys switch. The broken switch in my range is the same blue Invensys switch. The switch that I received from GRP was a white Robert Shaw. It was repackaged from a bulk shipment of 50 switches and placed in an unsealed plastic bag with a generic sticker on it. There was nothing on the sticker that said Samsung. There is nothing on the part that says Samsung either. I tried to get some information from GRP that would prove that this part came from Samsung, but my request was refused. All GRP told me was to trust them. So if you really want a Samsung part with a Samsung sticker on the sealed plastic bag, then buy it from someone else.
Received wrong part contacted customer service and was told unable to return for the correct replacement part. Customer service not willing to help. Will never buy from this site. Sears direct parts best support overall
Needed a microwave turntable plate because my son accidently broke ours. Quick and easy experience to shop the website. Found the exact replacement part. Not to expensive. Shipped directly to me and in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully I don't need to do this again but if I do - this is exactly the site I'd shop at.
I received my oven door seal in great condition. It fits and works perfectly! It gave off a bit of smell at first but I'm sure it will go away the more I use it.
I ordered a part they advertised on their website, they sent a cheaper substitute part. After over 20 emails, 4 phone calls, and waiting over a month they finally gave me a refund for the item but refuse to refund the shipping costs.
They make it very difficult to return items and even required me to send them a picture of my refrigerator! LOL! Have you ever heard of such a thing?
Trying to reach this company and they do not answer their phone, and even tried using their on line Chat during their posted hours and nothing... this is horrible customer service. Every 10 seconds on hold they try to get you to email their support department, and state that "our staff is dedicated to answering your questions as quickly as possible". Lol. What a joke.
I placed an online order with them. After I submitted the order, I noticed that I had ordered a wrong item.
I read their disclaimer about items less than $30 and understood this. There was no way to change the order, or delete it.
I called them first thing on Monday morning but did not get an answer. Finally a prompt advised me to leave my phone number and they would call me back, and that I would not lose my spot in line.
I did receive the promised call back. I explained to the rep what I had done. She indicated an email would be sent to the warehouse to see if the order could be stopped, for the one item that was inadvertently ordered.
Later I received an email back stating it had already been prepared, and it would ship.
I am not complaining, as I understood the policy. But, just a word of caution to prospective buyers. Be very, very sure when you hit the submit button. If you make a mistake, there is no way to change or delete it. Once you submit your order, it is yours.
Their web-site search system returned the wrong part. Just wanted to return it and re-order the correct one. Their customer support said great, but there will still be a 25% restocking fee and will have to pay for return shipping. Should have just used Amazon. They were completely unapologetic.
We received the part but were able to fix the dishwasher ourselves so we didn't use the part. Mailed it back per their instructions but received a response saying "This part has been installed and does not qualify for a refund". This is complete hogwash! It was in perfect condition just like it was when we received it. Never again would I order anything from this company!
This company is horrible. You can never speak to a person and they have ridiculous return policies- 25% restocking fee for an item that was not even wrapped in bubble wrap, plus you pay the shipping. I will never buy from them again. BUYER BEWARE- product descriptions are not accurate and returns are a nightmare.
I ordered a part on 5/13/19 and it was the wrong one, for which i take responsibility.
I have requested a return number about 8 times, and there is always a polite response that they are waiting for the Manufacturer to give them this number.
I point out my transaction and payment is with GRP.
Their excuse is not a reason, and after waiting 3 weeks I can only assume that they are stalling to avoid making a refund.
Received my part but it did not fit. I returned it the next day. Customer support gave me return instructions. Was disappointed to see the return postage was $37 and the part only cost $53 and $7 shipping. I would have thought return fees would be borne by GRP. I have not received my refund yet but I don't think my return has been received yet. When all the dust settles I'll be out $43 dollars. I am sorry I did not buy this part on Amazon who also had it because the return is free.
Easy to use site, quick delivery and fast customer service. Did not get a tracking email and got a response from customer service within 2 hours. Exact part I needed and got a good laugh at the end of purchasing from the warning. My husband said "the part looks like this just order one that's the same." The warning made me giggle.
I ordered an oven heating element. It arrived in two days via UPS shipping which was consistent with the promised shipping time. The shipping box had been through some rough times and the element was bent. I was able to straighten it out and get the part installed in less than 30 minutes but a bit more care in packaging would have been appreciated.
Shipping was fast, but they sent the wrong part. I called them and was provided with a return mailing label. Sent it back on April 6, and they rec'd it on April 8. A week later, having received no refund, I emailed them and was told that their refunds take 3 WEEKS! "If you don't hear from us by April 29, let us know." April 29 came and went, as did April 30, and I sent them a notice that if a refund didn't appear within 3 business days, I was going to the CC company. No refund, so filed a dispute with my CC Company. Am guessing that the reason for such a long delay in issuing refunds is that after all that time has passed, they hope you'll have forgotten about it. I didn't. CC company customer service rep. Agreed, saying most refunds are issued within 5-10 business days. After being told they didn't have the right part after all, I went shopping and found the right part at Appliance Factory Parts for 1/3 less.
