Sold them a $131.00 unblemished iPhone, they received and informed it was now worth only $91.00, I accepted, they never put the check in the mail, they have no customer support, they say they will call in 24 - 48 hours, it's been a week. Do not trade with these crooks and liars. There business model must be based on the small seller not wanting to seek legal council to collect on their meager offering. They've got your device and you have no recourse. Seller beware of these crooks...
Sold my iPad mini to gazelle as good condition. Upon receipt gazelle gave me an extra $5 over the initial offer. Everything was super easy. I opted for amazon $$ so after 5 days from delivery I received my amazon dollars.
Decided to give Gazelle a try after upgrading our cell phones. The process was so easy! Once online form was filled out and estimated amount based on actual condition they sent out two boxes with instructions and return labels. Took about a week to get email that both phones were in described condition and payment was prompt! Chose the Amazon gift card for the added 3% and they even provided a direct link to add it to my Amazon account! The whole process took about 10 days and could not be simpler. Definitely will use again!
Shipping was unacceptably slow and furthermore, they also reduced my initial offer to buy back my iphone 10 by about 65%, citing false flaws. I stated it was in above average condition but not flawless. They said it had "missing buttons" which was both false and absurd. They also cited excessive scratches, yet the phone was kept in a case with a screen protector and any scratches were barely visible. Best Buy offered twice what they did. Don't waste your time!
I received an offer from Gazelle for my iphone XS for $179 and accepted it online. From there, I received a box, shipped my phone in to them. From there, they sent an email saying the phone still had "find my iphone" on... it didn't... and that they were reducing the offer. Now after 5 weeks of calling, emailing, chatting, etc. they will not reply or answer the phone. SCAM business that needs to be shut down. DO NOT USE!
First I had multiple issues while ordering which were not due to errors on my part. A promised phone call back from technical support never came. After about an hour of trying different things and different cards, the order went through. They charge $25 for shipping and while it says 2-3 days during the ordering process, on the submission page it says next day. We know it's not next day so why even say that? We are on day 4 and still no phone and for $25, it should be next day, especially since most people ordering a new phone needs it right away. Hopefully we have better luck with the actual phone.
Offer of $156 for my factory unlocked Galaxy S9+. Phone was placed in a Lifeproof Fre case when I got it and never removed. It was even sent to Gazelle in that case. The offer was adjusted down to $12 due to "too many scratches" and "dark areas on the screen". Both as real as the love child of Big Foot and The Tooth Fairy. Would absolutely stay away from this company. 100% scam. Look at their ratings for proof.
This is not a creditable company I ordered a phone that was suppose to be in "good" condition with FedEx shipping. Once my shipment arrived I turned on the phone and it was flickering, then the whole screen starts freezing up all thru the day. First of all why am I paying for a half $#*! phone? Secondly why is this company letting customers receive broken phones? I personally know I'll never buy a phone from the site again and I'll make sure anybody I know won't either. Out here lying to people and having fake reviews.
I was offered $1,154 for three iPhone 6 and 6 Plus phones. Gazelle checked in and agreed to pay the offer price on 10/6/15. Now one week later they have not funded my PayPal account. The story continues to change by the customer service reps. First it was "it takes 24 hours to fund Paypal". The next day the story changed to it takes 48 hours to fund PayPal.
This is a dishonest company. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to get cheated.
The price for the product I sold was fair. I got slightly less than what I probably would have gotten if I sold it on Ebay but with added fees, and the difference in time from sale to posting would have been another week, with no particular guarantee in price. In addition, Gazelle gave clear instructions and made the process very painless. All the relevant boxes were clearly labeled and packaged intuitively. I would have liked a notification of the product arriving so I could better gauge when I could expect payment. Overall good experience, very smooth interaction and I feel both parties got fair value.
I used Gazelle twice in the past with no problem. This time however, I am ticked and will not EVER do business with them again. I sent in my iPad but declined their revised offer. Received the unit back today with no SIM card. They have lost me as a customer permanently.
Sent my Iphone 7 plus in and the initial online offer was $252. Two days later I received an e-mail saying it was better than I described and they sent me $540! Why would I even consider using another phone buying service. 5 stars!
Great experience! Originally quoted $140, received $205. Gazelle received phone, sent an email saying that the quality of phone was higher than expected, raised price. Very honest, they didn't have to but they did.
Used Gazelle because of their excellent reputation for fairness and honesty. Looked at using someone else who was offering a little more, but something about their website and interaction made me suspect. Shipping box for Gazelle came very quickly. When Gazelle processed my phone they determined it was in better condition than I had indicated and increased my payment automatically. Not sure anyone else would have done this. This confirmed my initial belief in their fairness and honesty. I would definitely recommend Gazelle and will use them again.
I spend 3 days trying to complete a purchase on this. Everytime I finished the order, they would just cancel it. I tried getting in contact with the support and they told me that it could be an issue with my card (which as working just fine). Than they asked me to do with paypal, which again was cancelled due to "different address from billing address", and that's ridiculous. When I tried for the last time, they said that it "could not be delivered to a hotel address". Where the hell did they invented this rule? Its a total BS, I wouldn't buy anything from them, it's not trustworthy at all and made me waste three days trying to complete an order that they didn't wanted to sell!
Gazelle is the gold standard when it comes to selling your used devices. Their prices offers are fair and firm. They make the entire process easy and painless, with thorough instructions to prep your item for shipment as well as providing prepaid shipping labels (and boxes if needed). I've used them twice and found them to be fast, efficient, friendly and honest. Great customer service.
Have sold 2-3 things on Gazelle so far. Easy, fast, and a great price. They even gave me MORE $ than the quote when they found that the iPhone was in better shape than i described. Honest and efficient!
I sent an excellent Samsung phone in. They said they would give me 44.00, not much, but I said okay. Weeks later they say they will give me 14.00. I said send it back. I sent in the cord and brick which were perfect and they didn't return those items with my phone. Hard to resell without original equipment. They are sending me generic cheap ones to replace the higher speed units that come with phones. Cheap ones take forever to charge phones. Not happy with this bait and switch company. Don't bother, sell it yourself.
This was a very easy & quick process! Our salesperson at the Apple store mentioned Gazelle. And, as an added bonus it had higher trade in value! Id recommend Gazelle to anyone who needs to turn in a device!
Gazelle had a nice $$ offer for my very lightly used Galaxy Note 8 but, when shipped in, they came back and said it had defects in the screen lighting and more than the acceptable # of scratches. I can tell you that as far as I could see, the screen is fine - I used it everyday before sending it in. Also, there were almost NO scratches. Gazelle reduced their offer from $142 to zero and called it an "adjustment." I think you need to consider someone else when looking to sell your phone. Their assessment of my phone is just plain wrong.
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
Gazelle has a rating of 2 stars from 1,075 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Gazelle most frequently mention customer service, perfect condition and screen protector. Gazelle ranks 48th among Consignment sites.
