I've been using a sling tote for years. This new tote carries more wood. Less work on the cold winter days to make less travel to the wood shed. Love the Tote

I took the Italian made waffle iron to moose camp.
It worked great, everyone loved the waffles that where made with it.
One thing though... it is 4.5"x5" not 4"x4".

I enjoy reading every catalog from Garrett Wade. I love when I find something I can give as a gift because I trust the quality of the products they sell and I know my loved one will be thrilled.
I placed my order and credit card was charged. I was sent an email letting me know the order was received. I never received any information on when it was shipping. After a week, I called and the customer service told me it was packed and ready to ship but had not left the building. 3 days later I called again, to be left on hold for 15 minutes because they could not find the order. I called back and I was informed that it was being packed and there was no schedule for shipping. I requested a cancelation as I live out of the country and know that I will not receive it in time for my departure. I was told there is no way to cancel it and that it would have to be left up to UPS to return it as there will be no one to receive it at this address. Awful customer service. They take your money and then whatever happens whenever it happens is the way they do business. Since no one will be here to receive the package I suspect this will be a $220 usd loss to me. I was really looking forward to receiving my gifts, and this has left an extreme sour taste in my mouth.

Ordered these loopers because I couldn't find a heavy duty set at the home improvement or hardware store. There is no easy to trim mesquite trees but, these are the best I've found to do the job.
We had ordered some these fly swatters years ago which are now worn out. These swatters are the best that we can find and they last for years too.

This now the third time i've ordered from Garrett Wade and in all three cases the item ends up not being in stock and takes 30 - 60 days to get the item. This time they offered a free item with the purchase. I got the free item today and when I called about the rest of the order they said they were expecting it stock in 2 - 3 weeks. What really got me angry about this, is that because they sent me the free promotional item, they charged my credit card for the shipping. I could get nowhere with the customer service dept. as she keep saying that "this is the way we do it here". Charging me the $15 shipping when all they sent was the freebee really is giving them my money to spend for the next 30 - 60 days. When I said I would send back the free item because I didn't want to be charged until I got the item I ordered she said they couldn't take the item back. This is clearly a way for them get money without sending you what you ordered. Be careful with this company. I've now got three experiences where they didn't have what they said they have and now they are in my mind fraudulently taking my money.
I have subsequently been working with Orin Fraser at Garrett Wade and he's admitted to the mistake being made and has made the issue right in my mind. Thanks to Orin for fixing the issue.
