I have been a Garrett Wade customer since the 1980's! I have been because of the quality of tools and merchandise offered. An excellent company that strives to meet my satisfaction. They do listen and that's a strong enough reason for me to continue to do business with Garrett Wade!

Nothing is good or correct when you deal with Garrett-Wade company. Avid it in the first place.
First all, the deal they offer me was 2 for the price of 1. I only receive 1 item. Honestly I could catch it, cause the e-mailed receipt show only one item. I assumed falsely they were honest.
Shipping: They charge over $ 12.00 for small, 2 once package. They tax the shipping cost, although they shouldn't? Only companies located in the state of Illinois charges tax on shipping in the USA.
These guys are a rip off from the start to the end. Avoid them.

I have been searching for a way to hold and manipulate a wide variety of wood pieces for carving and I have finally found a classy and brilliantly designed vise! The price point was excellent and I even love the color--no industrial black on this item! The rotation options and multiple functions are amazing. I enjoyed reading about how this final design emerged and really appreciate the creative craftsmanship. Couldn't be happier; delivery was prompt and the vise was well packaged--can't wait to bolt it to my brand new workbench/cabinet!

I ordered from Garrett-Wade in January, 2019, using gift certificates I got for Christmas. To pay the balance of the amount due (what the certificates wouldn't cover), I submitted my credit card.

According to Garrett-Wade's own receipt, my credit card was to be charged $17.60, but when I got my credit card statement, Garrett-Wade had charged $52.70 instead. That's an additional $35.10.

So far, Garrett Wade customer service has not refunded my card, their management team is still 'researching'. I'm not hopeful that they will own up to their mistake so I'll probably have to mess with my credit card company.

Overcharging someone's credit card is the same as theft. I'll never shop at Garrett-Wade again.

This is our second order with Garrett - Wade. We ordered a second high end watering can as a gift for our daughter in the Bay Area. The second time around the order was promptly shipped and arrived in record time. It came in undamaged and showed it was a quality product. It was fashionable and we display our first on so visitors can view it. We can use it with impunity and it brings a smile to our faces when viewed. We would purchase again from your good company.

In November of 2021 I purchased a wood plane from this company. I did not like the quality of the tool and returned it for a refund. The company acknowledged receipt of the tool and promised a refund. Numerous calls resulted in polite people promising a refund any day. My bank got the same response and I never got a refund. I suggest avoiding this company. The tools are of poor quality and they do not act on refunds.

I ordered on 1/28/22 and happy my order was to arrived before 2/8 spouses birthday. Then some weird UPS delivery emails happened but all was good, on the 8th it arrived BUT the international rolling cabinet that I ordered didn't arrive instead we received the optional top chest. I emailed and called customer service without any resolution except they said to look for a return shipping label - but wait what about my ordered product? How about just give me a discount on the chest and I'll keep it. NOTHING WAS SAID - no options no time frame no refund. The only concern was the return. AND I didn't receive the shipping label for the return either... WHAT! OH YEAH... They have my payment!

This fruit picker from Garrett Wade is by far the best fruit picker ever. Most fruit pickers have you yanking the fruit off of the tree which not only disturbs or mars other fruit but sometimes rips off part of the branch. And, if the fruit tree is blooming, like our avacado, they knock off hundreds of new fruit. I've had one of those "yank" pickers for years and decided it was time to find something better that did not damage my tree. The Garrett Wades Telescopic Fruit Picker cuts the fruit off and then captures it in a bag. We are able to pick up to 10 avacados at once. The picker extends 10 feet which is more than enough for our full grown avacado tree. So, if you're looking for an avacado, or other fruit, picker that won't damage your tree or other fruit on the tree, this is by far the best picker ever. It is more than worth the price considering what it does and how it does it. I would give this picker ten stars instead of just five.

First time ordering and everything went well. The product was received promptly and well packaged. The snaps are hearty and well made, easy to set and they stay put due to the way they are made. Thanks Garret Wade!
