This fruit picker from Garrett Wade is by far the best fruit picker ever. Most fruit pickers have you yanking the fruit off of the tree which not only disturbs or mars other fruit but sometimes rips off part of the branch. And, if the fruit tree is blooming, like our avacado, they knock off hundreds of new fruit. I've had one of those "yank" pickers for years and decided it was time to find something better that did not damage my tree. The Garrett Wades Telescopic Fruit Picker cuts the fruit off and then captures it in a bag. We are able to pick up to 10 avacados at once. The picker extends 10 feet which is more than enough for our full grown avacado tree. So, if you're looking for an avacado, or other fruit, picker that won't damage your tree or other fruit on the tree, this is by far the best picker ever. It is more than worth the price considering what it does and how it does it. I would give this picker ten stars instead of just five.

I've made several purchases from Garrett Wade. Some of the items I hadn't seen anywhere else. All were as represented, all met or exceeded my expectations and they arrived promptly. Some may seem a bit pricy, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I've been delighted with all my purchases, especially the folding rake and shears/pruners with extendable handles.
Saw the Japanese hedge shears in a Garrett Wade catalog a few months agon and was disappointed that they were on backorder. I submitted a request to be notified when available. Ordered the shears when I received an e-mail and they promptly arrived. They work even better than the description in the catalog description. Very sharp and are very light. This purchase from Garrett Wade was a hardback book on making and using wooden handplanes in the tradition of master woodworker/designer James Krenov. Consistent with my past experience ordering from GW, the book came well-packaged and in perfect condition. The book contains a wealth of information on designing, planning, building, and effectively using wooden planes. It is a rich source of inspiration and nicely complements the other woodworking tools and resources I have purchased from Garrett Wade.

Arrived very quickly, one 2 liter, one 1 liter, in great shape, both fired right up and work very well. Made by Prabhat in india, beautiful brass workmanship. As a machinist and gunsmith, I could find no flaws in the worksmanship what so ever.

I am very happy with the different items I buy from wade Garrett.
I bought a cutting knife from wade Garrett it has two handles and looks like a half moon very nice indeed for chopping and cutting. Do bbe creful it is very razor sharp. :}
This is a scam. I ordered a garden kneeler, they threw in a free flashlight, but still charged $12 for shipping. Then they canceled the garden kneeler, still sent the free flashlight, which is now a $3 flashlight for $12. I did not OK the cancellation or change of order. I am going to dispute the charge.
I saw two things that I wanted in the Spring catalog. When I went online to order the price for the drill set that I wanted wasn't the sale price in the catalog so i called to place my order. The phone rep had to dig a little but she found the price that I saw. The drill bit kit is complete and very nice. I also got Grandpa's weeder which is very well made and really works.
Everything I have ever purchased from Garrett Wade has been a great price for even better value. Always looks better than the pictures. Customers service is amazing and very fast to fix the issue.
Nail clippers are excellent, well made and functional. Knife was not so good, the handle was poorly fitted with an area that had been filed down, and pin rivets protruding to cut your hand.

They have a great selection of quality tools. I have spent hours poring over their wares. The prices are reasonable as well, considering that these are very unique products.
