BUYER BEWARE OF GARRETT WADE. I bought Garrett Wade's Ultra Tough Hose Reel, within weeks the hose burst in several areas. The hose itself was weak throughout. I contacted GW and sent them pictures of their faulty product. They said to return it and they would review it to see if they would offer a refund. Once the hose reel was returned they said they couldn't issue a refund because it was returned, "dirty, broken, and used". Their product, that they sell BROKE, while IN USE. I don't know if they expected me to clean and fix their faulty product, but it's entirely unacceptable to not stand behind their items. It has been a fight ever since. They offered a replacement, but who wants a replacement of a junky product? I'd rather eat the cost rather than deal with them again. They also continue to remove my reviews from their site. Again, BUYER BEWARE OF GARRETT WADE.
WEnt on the web site and bought a steel pan, Looked nice and figured it would serve my needs. Tapped the button to buy and *pow* my $$ disappeared...Got a reply that it would ship"soon" yeah,right...No shipping confirmation after about a week, Went to the Garrett-Wade web site, No help there. Said I didn't make an order. Tried a couple of times and same result...Tried calling...futile effort, Seems everyone was out cooking in my new pan... Waited a couple weeks and the pan finally showed up, Third party shipper from their warehouse...As a side note: The pan is as advertised and works well.
Was about to give up on repairing my kitchen's wooded trash bin when I found the perfect tool for holding the wooden lid frame while the glue dried. Worked like a charm and very easy to use. Have used it on other framing projects now that I have the right tool.

Got into this site looking at wood cutting tools. I stumbled on to waffle maker, looked good, wife's birthday coming up, breakfast is always an adventure.
Actual waffle maker is a nice package. Can get away from freezer waffles, unless we have extras.
I would like it to be about one more row around of the nubbies, yielding a larger waffle. This is great, maybe another model.

They have an excellent return policy, great customer service that responds to your inquiries in a timely manner! I had bought an item that I had used that didn't work as well as I had hoped. I wasn't sure if I could still return it, even though it was within the 90 days return period. Sure enough, Garrett Wade accepted the return and refunded my full purchase price! Also, all the items I ordered from them have always arrived as scheduled, in perfect condition and ready to use. Will continue to order from them as needed.

Garrett Wade sent me the incorrect item and refused to correct it or issue refund until compliance with their return systems. They specifically offered a free version for the inconvenience but that turned out to mean that the item I had already paid for could be sent. I followed up with multiple genuine reviews on items purchased from Garrett Wade, in light of my very poor experience with their customer service, but those were never made publicly available, my refund was mysteriously never processed and email correspondence went ignored. When I tried to speak with them on the phone I was 'disconnected'. This is a company that clearly spends more effort on their marketing than quality, customer service and integrity.

Many of their available tools source from quality providers in the USA and worldwide, rather than being sourced from mass producers of lower quality and less innovative designs.
The online catalog is easy to access and survey what is available for a hobby, gardening or home project. And, orders are promptly properly packaged and shipped.
The invoicing process was straightforward and pricing or discounts properly applied. Customer service is responsive should any issues arise.

I've long known that the right tool is half the job and GW offers the best tools around, a great variety and often surprises with new ideas. It's, by far, my favorite store when it comes to finding what I need to fix things and spend time resting from my other obligations in life.
I purchased a weed puller from Garrett Wade and as usual, it was a flawless transaction. I got a great tool at an excellent value and it arrived ahead of schedule. I have never had any problem with GW... so I cannot share any first hand knowledge about their customer service dept. No doubt in my mind that they are excellent as well.

Garrett Wade sells a wide array of very high quality tools, leather and canvas items for craftsmen and gardeners. I've been very pleased with my purchases and interactions with them. Gardening is so much more satisfying when one has good tools that work well.
Purchasing with Garrett Wade was a breeze and I found these doormats at a very reasonable price. The mats themselves are extremely effective at scrubbing off any debris on your shoes and seem very durable. One caveat is that they are fairly light and slide around a bit. I suggest placing them in a boot tray or other means of keeping them in place.
