Key not valid
November 1, 2018

Bought a key, afterwards it seems not be valid no refund, no new key.
Also used paypal (which I paid an extra fee for), and so tried to get the money back but didn't succeed because key's are not under the protection of paypal.

The worst service! Not recommended to use it

In addition to the game key you buy you are paying for some kind of subscription that you've never agreed to pay for. After you automatically payed for this unnecessary subscription you have to cancel it manually at you account settings. Then receive an email to confirm the cancellation. Otherwise they are going to pay them monthly. The support never refund the money if you haven't done all this. The worst service! Not recommended to use it!

I have had nothing but good experience using this site!
Previously I had been with G2A but thought that paying a fee to being a customer who doesn't use it week in week out, to outrageous!
Gamivo was the answer to my prayer, it has a large and varied selection of games and other software, at great prices!
There is also a grade system that helps you when buying some games, which is really helpful!

I would recommend Gamivo to any of my friends and to anybody who reads my review!

Bad customer service
October 9, 2022

I had already bought from them and everything was fine. This tour I had a problem with the payment (via crypto) and there is no way for them to help me. For them, the order doesn't exist on my account and so I'm fine. Too bad I have their wallet address and transaction ID, but they don't go to look at it. With the fact that their "system" has no orders on my account that's enough for them.
Customer service really s**tty. Lost 25 euros, it will not be a penny but is annoying anyway.
I certainly don't do my next purchase here, if to save 2 euros I have to lose 25 one-offs, I would say it's not convenient.

Scum

Terrible company... They took my money and then put my order on hold and said i had to update my address. As soon as i enter my country then i get invalid selection... The customer care has stopped responding. Please don't use these scam artists... there is many legitimate resellers out there but these aren't one of them... Scum

On all the checkout pages the subscription of Gamivo Smart ($1.99+VAT charged monthly) is pre-selected, and is located in a box that does not highlight it adequately, appearing as a normal page footer. This is obviously a choice to mislead the user, avoiding to draw attention to an option that should be disabled by default. Customer service is very careless towards the customer. Avoid at all costs.

I bought a game a month ago, when prompted at check out for the smart subscription I deferred.
I did not take the smart subscription. Lo and behold my CC is charged with the monthly smart subscription.
I contacted their support but kept getting the same reply that I subscribed.
It is not even on the email sent from you guys, It says I only bought my game.
Support does not provide any help, would also not allow you to talk to a supervisor. Will keep on blocking you.
Customer Service Representative dropped the online chat on me.

Update. Got to chat with another representative, they confirm that I was able to disable the subscription before my purchase but it did not disable. They say it enabled when I purchased the special price which for me is a scam.
I am not able to get any refund on this. I think they have a no refund policy on their "smart subscription"
Reading on other reviews this seems to be their modus operandi

Good but not great

The experience went pretty well at first like buying 6 successful purchases until i bought another game that was just 12 dollars when i bought it the seller gave me a used key instead, of course i contacted support lets just say it went well at first from them responding when i provided all the information needed but they offered a replacement code i said "yes i would like to receive the offered replacement code" 4 days later and im still waiting for them to respond

Scam Site

This site is a scam. They sell codes that have already been activated and at the same time they sign you up for a fee to a subscription to the website which is re-occurring. When I opened a support ticket they responded saying they would cancel the subscription after the first month and would provide no refund for the Game Key since it was already activated. Total scam. STAY away!

This company failed to deliver my purchase and after which attempted to palm me off with a credit note. After reminding them of the law they emailed to say they were providing a full refund. This was on the 26th of March and a full week later they have failed to so. I have escalated the matter with PayPal now and provided them with the correspondence from Gamivo. Gamivo keep marking reviews as reviewer contacted too yet the last contact with me despite repeated emails and messages to their support I have heard nothing! You seem quite capable of reading and remarking on reviews, so how about spending some of that time doing what you should be doing and providing a refund for things you are unable to fulfil? Why do you want to choose to screw people around when at the end of the day I will be getting the refund either from PayPal or Visa whether you like it or not. All you have achieved is a few coins in interest and a whole load of crappy reviews. Well done!

I bought a key on gamivo. They took my money, my bank tells me it is taken. Gamivo says they didn't get the money and I should contact Skrill, even I told them "I can't contact Skrill since they don't answer me" they are still telling me to contact skrill. Customer support is worse than an AI. Don't buy from this website.

Duplicate product code

I paid for a used key and so far they have not found a solution to solve the problem (send a valid key or reimbursement options). The first and last time when I buy something from them. If you want a secure purchase, try another key resellers asking about whether a seller is legit.

Gamivo scam - stay away!
December 31, 2020

Hi, I'm here to report my awful experience with Gamivo. Almost two weeks ago I bought an Assassin's Creed Valhalla key. The key I got was already redeemed. "Ok I'll ask for a refund, this can happen I guess". Well, I also guess I have to say goodbye to my 50€ since after asking for screenshots of the error, of my purchase history on Microsoft account and even screenshots of my chat with Microsoft support service they are ignoring me and keep writing "please be patient" randomly like two times a week. I wish I'd never bought from them.

They charged me a SMART fee a month after my transaction. I'm used to seeing grey sites try to add fees like this but they're usually in your face so you can see you need to cancel them. Not this one. This is a joke and absurd.

They auto-opt-in the checkbox on every purchase. My keys did NOT work and they then opted me into a $4.50 recurring charge that I didn't notice for a long time. Shame on me - but they refused to refund ANY of these and I had no idea this charge was even there. Their opt-out is hidden deceptively, then their final opt-out is disguised as a final button but you have to click a different button to finalize. Everything these guys do is to steal and is done in bad faith. Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY. Plenty of other sellers then to support these villains.

So far i have not gotten a working key from them. Their support team needed a bunch of screen shots and a more detailed description of "the key was already used". So they are selling bunk keys. I have to wait on the "retailer"(isnt gamivo the retailer) to respond after sending all the screenshots. A LOT of work for a 3 dollar game, i assume they figure noone will go through the hassle over 3 bucks and its just money in the bank for them. Duplicate keys for sale is illegal. I just want MK9 like i payed for. Will update and change this if i do indeed get my copy of MK9 like i payed for.

Had what I wanted

Glad I can find the same games for cheaper than what Steam is asking for. Not sure if this site is 100% legal, read sites like this don't use 100% legal keys but whatever, games are over priced anyways. Price hasn't changed for new games in 30+ years.

I bought a game code for Switch that doesn't work a month ago and they have kept my money. They use as an excuse that they have to sell it and do not return the money. If you want to lose money, buy at Gamivo.com

I bought two games from Gamivo, and they turned out to be pretty good at a very decent price. Later, however, I was billed for a Gamivo "subscription" to which I had not given my consent. I opened a support ticket with them, and they answered by trying to persuade me that their "subscription" service was awesome. Never got a refund.
