I don't even wait for the support response to put a bad review, because when I'm buying a cd key, I want to have it for myself, who the $#*! can sell 1 cd key for multiples persons, but maybe they are genius, one thing is certain, this society have a new enemy

No refund

I purchased from gamivo believing the link was for Xbox (said Xbox in the link) I received a PC version. Contacted customer services, pretty fast response but absolutely useless. Was told they'd sell my key on and refund me in a week. 1 month later and loads of emails like banging your head off the wall still no refund...

If you want reliability go cdkeys.com

You will see a pattern to the bad reviews across all review platforms: their outrageous Smart Subscription "service". They use this to extract small payments from people until you notice and cancel. They also lie about the cost - my subscription was supposed to be charged at £1.82 according to my account but they charge £2.29 and £2.24. The customer service agent said this related to a "payment fee" but couldn't explain why it varied. Avoid this provider. Interestingly they have tried to take down my review on another site and I had to provide full information to have it verified (see images below)

I purchased a play station plus key for PS4 that clearly stated "can be activated in Ireland" (sent them a screenshot of the screen showing this).
The key was for Kuwait as it turned out.
2 months later and they are still holding me to ransom saying they cannot refund me until someone else purchases the key and confirms its unused. I clearly qualify for a refund under their refund rules, 8.5 (2) but they choose to ignore this and keep me hanging on. Its clearly in breach of their own rules and EU consumer protection. I have been given no indication of when I will receive a refund. It is truly a horrible experience and advise anyone looking to purchase anything from them to think again. These reviews are real. PS I also got signed up for Gamivo smart without my knowledge and it took me a while to cancel it as they deliberately hide it deep inside the website to put you off. BE WARNED.

Good but not great

The experience went pretty well at first like buying 6 successful purchases until i bought another game that was just 12 dollars when i bought it the seller gave me a used key instead, of course i contacted support lets just say it went well at first from them responding when i provided all the information needed but they offered a replacement code i said "yes i would like to receive the offered replacement code" 4 days later and im still waiting for them to respond

Sent a voucher that didn't work
June 12, 2020

Received a 20% off voucher as a previous customer. Put the code in and the 20% price was shown all the way through checkout until I paid on Paypal. Two orders were submitted, one with the code was not processed but one without was. Support responded very quickly but were unable to help, even just giving me credit to the amount I missed out on would have been appreciated.

So as the title says, I ordered no man's sky but Gamivo put my order on hold as my payment method email was different from the one I used for sign up. Is there a way to still receive my key or can I get a refund?

I don't see anything wrong with the business itself as I received the codes which I paid for. However, there was is a problem. When going to checkout, they automatically make you use the smart price which costs an extra 2 dollars. This wouldn't be a big problem as I could simply get a refund, right? No, they would not offer me a refund for it as they are not able to refund smart purchases. When I ask why they simply say because it is in the T&C which I was not greeted with and neither did I have to accept it.

Still fighting with them

I have been dealing with an issue with a used product key. When I requested a refund or a new key they asked me to provide a screenshot of me trying to use the code which I done, then wanted me to provide a screenshot of me talking to Microsoft customer service concerning the already used key which I did. Now they keep asking me to provide more screenshots of the conversation just for a 17 dollar purchase. This is my first and my last time using gamivo.

I got charged when I canceled my subscription
September 2, 2020

I canceled my smart subscription a whole 20 days before it is supposed to renew and they charged me anyway
After talking with support I got my money back. I guess I can't be too mad it just charged me during a difficult time and even amazon did the same thing. Sounds like I don't know how to cancel subscriptions even though I've been doing it for a long time.

Good, but slow

I made the purchase at 17:25 and didn't receive the key in the next 20 minutes, so I opened a case at 17:45 (*******) and waited again for 2 more hours. I decided to contact you on Discord and got an answer almost inmediately. I finally received my key at 20:00.

Soul calibur issue

Great games but soul calibur won't let me go online it just crashes every time I try. I read you wont give refunds so I probably will not buy from again because something was wrong and unrepairable when I only had to pay ten more dollars to have a perfect copy from steam..

The payment is on hold and they take my money and told me they need an ID for A PROF BC there F System flagged my ACC as a suspicious? Dude i Paid USING PAYPAL. PAYPAL HAS my
F ID MF what kind of BULLSH! T IS THAT?

Online steam keys

Great company to deal with key is delivered within 5 minutes of paying and works without any issues. Easy to get in contact if you need (even tho I didn't have too) prices are best on the internet.

Its a good service I have used for years, very scarcely sometimes you have to wait in case something goes wrong if you pick up not the correct or most reliable supplier, as gamivo is intermediary. But majority of times reliable, or more reliable than competition.

I was signed up to a subscription I never wanted, although I did not click on the "SMART" price when putting the software to my shopping cart.

Even if, as they say in their answers to other negative reviews, the SMART subscription is allegedly displayed during the ordering process. I did not see this, it is well hidden.

This is a con, you should not have to "opt-out" of them selling your money.

Also the original purchase was not use because it was an unsupported version.

The support staff are also useless, just repeating the same script and not actually helping with anything.

Buying protection not worth your time

Was sold a code that had already been used almost a month ago now and I still haven't received a refund, tried to fob me off with credit for the site even though I said several times I wanted my money back. Literally no point spending the extra money on buyer protection. If this is the type of care I got with it I would hate to see how this situation is approached without it.

I got a Guildwars 2 key from the site.

First experience - Key is not valid... what just received from them or from one of their dealers.

Well, it can happen, so I took screenshots and contacted their service. Problem could be solved by simply sending a new valid key.

Write now since 2 days and the only thing I from hear from them... please be patient, contact the dealer, they usually answer very fast... well fast for me is within 24 to solve the problem and not constantly stall the customer with empty words.

I will cancel the order tonight and can only say to Gamivo... never again I BUY there.

Key not valid
November 1, 2018

Bought a key, afterwards it seems not be valid no refund, no new key.
Also used paypal (which I paid an extra fee for), and so tried to get the money back but didn't succeed because key's are not under the protection of paypal.
