I ordered 3 weeks in advance and selected delivery of the Friday before to avoid the rush and ensure an on time delivery. Their delivery window is 9am - 8pm and was promised for the Friday but never showed up. Instead around 7.50pm it was suddenly marked as delivered. I had to place 3 days to FTD.
1st Call - 8.55pm Friday I called and they asked me to wait until 9pm. Then offered to redeliver the next day. I has to ask for an email confirmation of that. I did receive one that was poorly written and had no order number or tracking of any kind. They claimed to send a $10 refund but that was never received.
2nd Call - 5.34pm Saturday I called to make sure the order was going to arrive. They promised that it would.
3rd Call - 8.15pm Saturday I called when there was still no delivery of the Mother's Day flowers. My siblings used another service and my mom received theirs. FTD stated they would refund my money and that was that. No apology or comensuration for the horrible service.
In my opinion this is an unreliable and not dependable service. I will never use FTD ever again.
I ordered flowers online to be delivered on someone's birthday. There was ample time to process, about 5 days. They were not delivered on the appointed day. I contacted FTD by email and received a form letter response. 4 1/2 hours later no further response. Cal6l the 800 number twice and two agents told me they were unable to reach the florist. I asked for the name of the florist so I could contact for further delivery arrangements and they won't give it to you. They really don't care. If an occasion is important to you and you want to have something delivered there are plenty of other options. In fact, call a florist direct or use one of the many respected online flower delivery services.
Ordered the top of the line arrangement and received a substitute that was nowhere near the quality of the photo on FTD. Sent FTD an email asking for refund and then said I was sent a substitute. I had also asked for an address change to the same city before this and the rep said no problem and before I could ask for a new confirmation with the new address ( 10 minutes after I ordered) she hung up on me and two hours later I received an email stating no address change available! Delivery was 3 days away to the same county! Would never use again. Guess I'm out 98.00$
Ordered flowers on 3/06 for 3/11 delivery, so 5 business days notice. Flowers did not arrive. They did not contact me. I wasn't too worried as 3/12 would be fine, so if they are a day behind, no worries. But I did send them an email letting them know I'm still waiting.
They replied to my email: "We want to ensure that you are aware that despite our best efforts we were unable to secure a local florist to deliver your order". What? And they never let me know that it couldn't be arranged, not even on the day?
They offered to FedEx some flowers to arrive on 3/15. No offer of a discount for four days late? Nothing?

I ordered flowers and chocolate to be delivered on 24 Feb. I got a confirmation email on the morning of the 24th that they were delivered. I spoke to the intended recipient on the evening of the 24th and they were NOT delivered. I sent in an email immediately and did not hear from FTD at all 25 Feb. I called on 26 Feb and was told that they were not delivered on 24th due to weather, not delivered on 25th because they ran out of the flowers and that the confirmation email was sent because the flowers were in the van on the way. So they had the flowers on the 24th in the van, the weather suddenly got too bad to deliver and on the 25th they had no flowers. LIES.
Received email"Confirming" my delivery was made. As the flowers were for my wife, I could confirm the delivery was not made. I have lost all trust of this organization as I have seen on various sites that this is an all too common occurrence.
My Valentine's Day is ruined thanks to ftd. Waited till 9:45pm for my wife's surprise gift. False advertisement. Do not order from this company. Employees don't care and just lies about the order is getting delivered. I could had went to get the flower on my own if they canceled earlier.
I would leave zero stars if I could. Basically, my boyfriend purchased flowers days in advance for me for Valentines Day. After several hours of not receiving these he began to call to understand the issue. One man informed us they were delivered, one man informed us they were out for delivery, and one man informed us they couldn't even be fulfilled given the amount of orders the company had. It's the next day and I still can't get my flowers. Listen, save your money. Use 1-800 Flowers. We previously used them, and will going forward. This place is a scam.

Ordered flowers for my Aunts birthday, premium arrangement paid $100.00 the florist FTD used sent a vase with barely 15 flowers. They delivered the flowers 2/7/2022 I called the same night to complain and asked for a refund, I received my refund 2/10.

My family owned a florist. I've seen the wonderful look when someone receives a personal delivery of flowers, candy, and/or balloons. But receiving your flowers in the mail in a cardboard box — just does NOT have the same effect. I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED AND PAID A $30 delivery fee if I knew my daughter and husband would receive a cardboard box delivered by the mailman! Flowers can be beautiful, personalized, and arrive fresh and neatly arranged — if delivered by a florist; not so when it comes by mail in a box. FTD HAS GONE SO DOWNHILL AS THE YEARS HAVE PASSED. Instead of sending it to a local florist, they think a delivery in a cardboard box is sufficient.
They have lost a customer.
CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST — YOU'LL GET MUCH FRESHER AND PRETTIER FLOWERS — and without FTD's enormous fees, probably end up spending less for better quality.
I ordered 2 sets of flowers for my wife, while I was away at work. First, I thought, (my fault) the flowers would be sent doing the day. WRONG after 5pm, I called and asked about my order. They said on the way... then they sent me an email telling me the flowers were already at my house, WRONG, they lied. One set showed up, next set, still waiting hours later. Never again! I ordered flowers for my daughter's 30th birthday via FTD Online. I found the bouquet that I wanted to send and took it to the Premium level to the tune of almost $100. I was advised via email that the flowers were scheduled for delivery the day I expected. I found out that evening that the flowers had not in fact been delivered. It seemed that the florist never received the order due to their internet not working appropriately. When i went back to FTD Online, they checked with the florist and said they would be delivered that next day. And due to the issues, the florist said they would upgrade the order. I said i had already upgraded to to Premium, and was assured that they would 'fill it out even further' to make it more full and larger. When the arrangement finally arrived, later that afternoon, she sent me a picture. It was a sad bouquet that looked like the lowest level I could have ordered. Very disappointed in FTD AND the florist who put it together. I was an FTD Gold member, and have consistently experienced this type of service and product quality. Once I ordered a sympathy plant for a colleague in Florida, and it came in a bright rainbow container, nothing like the peaceful white vase in the picture. Unfortunately, unless you get a picture from the recipient, you only have your faith in FTD to rely on, which is minimal at best at this point. I feel that this is consistently a 'bait and switch'.
I bought a Gold membership and now TWICE out of 6 orders it was shown as "delivered" only it was NOT delivered. Security camera footage confirmed there was not even an attempt to deliver. Business name, address, and recipient name were all 100% correct/accurate. And when you call FTD they don't even care; they just offer a refund or to have the flowers re-delivered. Like, do they not care that whatever florist they used set the status to "delivered" even though it wasn't?!?! Nope, they literally don't care. Instead of receiving a nice surprise, I have to ask my lady if she received anything, and then she has to take time to go check security cameras. It's awful, absolutely awful. I excused it after the 1st time, but not now. NEVER AGAIN FTD!
I ordered flowers for my husband's funeral. I am in England. My husband passed in the USA and I couldn't attend through health issues. 2 days after the funeral I received notification they didn't do the order I paid for. I called the company and spoke to Dawn and Valencia. Dawn was rather off but Valencia was down right rude and totally unsympathetic. She shouted at me, spoke over the top of me and was completely disrespectful. I am still waiting for my refund too. I would never use this company again
Paid for same day delivery. Never delivered. Would have just kept my $110 if I had not contacted customer service again and again. Still have not received a refund. Total joke business who will take your money and not do a thing to actually fulfill their order/obligations.
Flowers were never delivered to funeral location. Upon calling ftd, they couldn't tell me anything. They couldn't even tell me what business was supposed to deliver the flowers. The representative said they would do an investigation but he also said FDD would never get back with me to find out the results of the investigation.
They protect the incompetent vendor that they contracted with via their "privacy policy" but screw the customer.

One of my dearest friends lost his father, instead of me calling my local florist I decided to give FTD a shot on line only because we live opposite sides of the state. I ordered yesterday morning for same day delivery, I got an email in the afternoon saying it got delivered, only to get an additional email late afternoon saying they were unable to deliver because no one was there. There is a protected porch from weather at the house, its September and perfect weather…. I called FTD and told them to leave it outside if no one was there. They said okay great. I called late this afternoon to ask why it hasn't been delivered. FTD called the "local " florist and said they weren't able to get to the phone.
They will email me when they hear from them. At this point no florist is delivering at this time of day.
This is completely unacceptable! I spent over $100.00 on what I was expecting to be beautiful and I'm still in limbo. I asked for the name of the florist and was told I can't get that information. I will be canceling the order but who am I going to call the one that can't answer the call?!

Ordered on 2 Aug 21 to be delivered on 9 Aug 21. Email received saying scheduled for delivery between 8-6pm. Reached out to FTD to let them know she would not be there after 4pm. They refused to provide me the information to let the florist know and said they told the florist. The flowers were not delivered in time and she did not get them before leaving work! I could've picked up my own flowers and drove to work to give them to her myself! Do not use them!
I ordered flowers for a dinner party at a friend's home. When I arrived, the flowers looked old and wilted. There was no water in the dish. I sent a message to FTD IMMEDIATELY with no response. I called and the representative said the message was not received and I was over my allowed one week refund. I will never use them again.
