Horrible experience

Unfortunate that in 21st century they charge for shipping and returns EVEN when you buy over 150$ and direct from there website. If you go buy from Amazon, not only they pay to Amazon fee, but also offer free shipping and returns. Very bad business

My whole house system
November 6, 2020

My whole house system is almost 14 yrs old still working fine. Had to buy new ceramic filters for the canister but that was easy and inexpensive for all my water going thru it. I would recommend freshwater systems

Don buy the PH tester in the photos they are dried out and defective. The units will not calibrate no matter how long you soak them. Freshwater sent me two bad units then moved them to clearance. BE AWARE there is no refund on clearance items. Horrible company who posted lies on google reviews saying I did not want to calibrate the tips which is untrue I've been using these testers for years and tried to calibrate these pens over 5 days they don't calibrate and don't even read the same in the same testing solution. They then said they did not move the ph testers to clearance again another bold lie look at the pics below. They do NOT GIVE REFUNDS on clearance items. Terrible customer service knowingly selling defective product with no chance of a refund. Stray away

WRONG ITEM SHIPPED
September 28, 2022

I am just amazed at how bad this company is. I ordered a PVC reducer, 3" to 1 1/2". They sent me a 3" to 1 1/2" reducer, but it already had a 1 1/2" threaded pipe glued into it. When I sent them a photo, they responded that they did not send what appears to a used product. As a customer I have never been accused of lying before. They may eventually accept their mistake, but their initial response is just terrible. I will never do business with them again, regardless if they do correct their error.

I needed a RO Mate 20 tank ASAP. They had one in stock at a great price. I'm in Connecticut. I ordered the tank online, on Thursday. Their tracking showed it left their facility that afternoon and arrived at my house on Saturday via regular ground UPS. Service, price and delivery time was amazing!

I purchased a new exact replacement water storage tank for my RO system. Amazon had them available but several people complained that the tanks they received were heavily dented or damaged. Freshwater Systems had the same tank at very competitive pricing and reasonable shipping cost so I decided to buy from then rather than Amazon and I'm very happy with my decision. The tank I received from Freshwater Systems was well packed and not a scratch or dent on it and I received it quickly. Thank you Freshwater Systems for the excellent customer service and pleasant buying experience.

Much Needed parts

I didn't even have an account and was treated by Cendy with Kindness,. Very Knowledgeable & Great Prices!
Even the 2nd day Air Shipping price was great!
I Would Definitely Recommend this Company to other service technicians.

I liked this company until…

I have been a loyal customer for years. I got a mineralization filter for my RO system and I noticed a CA Prop65 sticker on it with a reproductive health and cancer warning. When I asked if the warning was due to the materials in the housing or was it the filter? I got the runaround and they said it only applied to CA. So the materials don't harm non-Californians? How stupid. They said they didn't know and told me to call manufacturer. They were no help either and told me to call Fresh Water as the don't apply the stickers. So I guess I have to just suck up that my water supply may in fact cause health issues when in fact I bought an expensive RO system to accomplish safe and healthy water? These folks were golden until I got this right wing dismissive bull and apathy when I am concerned about my health. Not good folks.

Update:. They refunded my account and allowed me to keep the product. Minus one star for their lack of attention to detail on the original listing.

Original review: They advertise one concentration of a product and deliver another. Additionally, my order had a total of 10 packs, received 9. They honored a return, but at the cost of me having to pay return shipping for their mistake. Poor business practices. Look for a different company to do business with, there are plenty out there.

I bought a product and it failed. Tech support was at first a decent amount of help. Customer service dept was horrible.

I called back and spoke to tech support, this guy is a total POS. He is unable to admit anything is wrong with their service or their company.

Complete and total Egotistical azzhat.

I will never shop there again.

I purchased a water filtration system from Fresh Water Systems, online, for $130. When I received the product, I was unable to get the housing unscrewed to put filter in, in order to operate it. Over a week's time I repeatedly tried using plastic wrench that came with system, using a damp towel to get a better grip to unscrew, tapping housing with utensil to loosen and had household members try to get housing to unscrew, but was unable to. I emailed the company 3 times, informing them of the situation, until I finally received a response from a representative who instructed me to find someone who had a rubber strap wrench to get housing off. When I notified them that I couldn't locate the wrench, I was told that they would likely not pay to return product. Because I could not use the product i'd purchased, I paid postage to get it back to them and haven't received refund or heard back from them.

Terrible

I ordered a reverse osmosis system and was told that it would be shipped the day of order. Didn't get a confirmation email and called them. It was very difficult to get to talk to a person. Was on hold and system offered an automatic call back. Never got the auto call back. Called again and was on hold. Jackson, sales person gave assurance that my system was going to ship. Turned out that the system wasn't going to ship. It was on back order. I called back and asked Jackson confirm that my order would ship that day he said he would check and call me back. I told him that if it wasn't going to ship, please cancel. He called me back and said that it was canceled.

Excuses for a month then canceled without contact

Terrible company - terrible customer service. Do NOT waste your time. Over a month of excuses and then the day that it was supposed to be here - all that arrived was a cancellation email. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I purchased two RO filters from them at a cost of $250 each. One was no good and they refused to replace it. "Our margins are to low" this is how they treat their customers.

Excellent Product/Fast Service

Drain cleaner works great, just as advertised. Ordered on-line and had product in hand shortly there after. I have purchased many types of drain cleaners; however, this one proved to do it's job quickly. My plumber isn't going to get a call anytime soon to power ague out my drains...

I really like that there are real people to talk to when you have a problem. They helped us get in much needed replacement filters and UV lamps quickly. I've never had any problems with this company and hope they continue on for a very long time!

Great Products and Right Price
August 24, 2015

Just finished installing items in my water purification system. Had question on a filter connection and the customer service rep squared me away (filters no longer needed brass fittings). I'm back operational at a much lower cost than if I had bought the parts locally. Completely satisfied with entire transaction.

Buyer beware

Terrible company, classic bait and switch, advertise GE reverse osmosis replacement filters, shipped cheap generic filters. Return restocking fees very high which should be a red flag as to the quality of merchandise being shipped. I will never do business with this company again.
