I work out in an industrial environment, and not only am I bad at cooking, but I have nothing to cook with besides a microwave, or a hot engine. Ordering out isn't really an option either, so I usually packed cold lunches, or left overs. But Freshly has been pretty awesome for me, since the food is pretty dang good, and I now have a whole lot more variety in what I can eat, as well as how I can eat it. The portion sizes are just about what I need to keep a healthy diet, not to mention that the ingredients going into the meals are real so it's not like a typical microwave dinner.
Agatha was extremely professional, kind and understanding about this week's delivery. It isn't an easy job to listen to people complain to you all day and she handled our situation like a pro. She should be recognized as a top employee. - review coming from a former customer service rep manager

I enjoy getting to choose different meals on a weekly basis. The only problem I've found so far is that some of the meals taste like TV dinners that you'd pay $3-4 or even less from the grocery store and especially after the intro pricing goes away find it hard to justify over $10 a meal. Some have been very good and do taste "fresh" almost like it was homemade.

I work an overnight shift as a police officer when nothing is open but gas stations. I'm a very health conscious person who takes fitness serious. Freshly works great for me because I bring one in my lunch everyday. The quality of the meals is great, the quantity of food is enough to make me full, but not too much that I become sleepy and lazy. The large menu keeps me from getting bored. I feel good after eating freshly meals.

I'm a big fan and I feel like I have been eating healthier and saving money. Overall, it's been a pretty perfect experience. And over the last 5 - 6 weeks I have only been disappointed once. I felt like one steak was very bloody and undercooked. I tossed it.
My one thought is that it is very difficult to get the plastic film off of the container. If there was some sort of perforation it might help. Just so hard to rip especially if you don't have a very sharp knife handy (which is quite often because I take these meals to work). I put this into the comments and got a nice reply back.

While there are lots of meal delivery services available, many require preparation. Freshly meals are pre-prepared and only require a quick heating in the microwave. Plus they are tasty and can be tailored to your dietary needs. This is a great option for my elderly parents who still live at home. I am assured they get at least a few healthy meals each week.
Another bonus- Freshly has great customer service. They make it very easy to modify meal choices, delivery dates and even to skip a week. I have recommended Freshly to several others.
We've been happy overall with Freshly! I was using a different service but I didn't like spending up to an hour making dinner once we got home from work, then cleanup to follow. With Freshly it's quick to the table with minimal cleanup. My only complaint: I would prefer that they vary the meals I receive (based on preferences) rather than requiring me to sign in every week to select meals. If I don't have time or forget, we get the same 6 meals as the week before.
I've had Freshly's for a long while now and although I don't use it every week, I've had a good experience so far. This week, however, I did receive one meal that was incorrect. I contacted Freshly chat a few times and someone was there to help me but it would take a while to get a response that I'd get distracted with my kids and we never got to a solution until I chatted with Christopher. He was super quick, read back on past chat to catch himself up and immediately processed a refund for me. I wish all the reps were this quick and efficient. He provided amazing customer service. I have been using Freshly for about 2 months now and I really love the food! I'm someone who tries everything and then goes to my favorites and there are a lot of favorites here! They often change up the meals and add new ones that are "seasonal" or culturally diverse so I appreciate the options! I really like that all of the meals are right around 500 or so calories too, I think that's a good meal amount and it's helping me stay on track with caloric intake - sodium is often high, but they do a good job of being healthy creatively. I appreciate the convenience of the service with my busy lifestyle. The only thing I wish there was is salad options, I'm very surprised they don't offer meals like this. Please add these in and keep up the good work!
Tasty. Packaged extremely well. Nice selection. Havent found even one entree that is inedible. Good combinations of foods. Havent missed mashed potatoes-cauliflower rocks! Thankful to be able to heat and eat without fuss and bother.

I chatted w/Ash about the possibility of some lower carb options becoming available. I know you're adding new recipes all the time. I'm working to get my weight back in check and really like meals w/35 grams of less of carbs. I do have a couple of dietary restrictions - no pork being the primary one. Have been a Freshly customer for about 10 months now and have been happy with my service. Only once in those 10 months did they actually miss a shipment, but I was promptly refunded and offered an additional credit. Meals overall are great -- some not so great but you just don't re-order those in future weeks. The menu is pretty expansive and new items are added regularly. The few times I've had to contact customer service I've had little/no wait time and the service quality is consistently top notch (thanks Reg & all the others!).

Each meal has been an experience is great taste with healthy ingredients. The shipping is first-rate with an insulated box with recycle-friendly ice packs!
The prep meal programs offer good meals, but why not use one where the food is ready to heat and heat? That was our reason to try Freshly.
The food is outstanding with healthy calorie counts to make it even better. The meals are filling and so easy to heat. In less than 4 minutes, you have an expertly cooked meal ready to go. We've loved each one. There's nothing better or easier after a long, hard day at work then these Freshly meals. Thanks for keeping us satisfied all these weeks.

We've been using Freshly for just over a month now.
Most of the meals we've tried have been good - considering it's like having leftovers. The ingredients seem to be good quality, the portions are perfect. It has certainly helped our family not overeat. Definitely convenient.

Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
