Overall love it, but wish there were more fish and vegetarian options available. Also would like items to rotate more frequently so I don't feel like I'm eating the same three things every week. Great quality and service.
My wife and I have tried most of the Freshly meal selections and are continuously amazed at the quality, quantity, and flavor. We each have our favorites, but we always find ourselves wanting to try something new on the menu.

I am so happy that I discovered Freshly. It's like having my own personal chef. All of the meals with the exception of one were delicious. I bought the one meal issue to the attention of Freshly and they responded immediately and 100% to my satisfaction. After work the last thing I want to do is prepare a meal. I get the 4 meals per week program. Saves me so much time, money, energy and fuel costs, but best of all, the meals are really very good.

Food is good but the plastic is difficult to remove. Its not always possible to have a knife or sheers handy. Need to make packaging easy to pull off plastic with hands.

I work long hours and do not have time to cook on weekdays and on weekends its hit or miss, sometimes I'll cook or we eat out. I eat the meals for lunch and my husband eats his for dinner. The portions are just right. I like knowing we are eating healthy meals that are good for you and taste great. As a result, we both have lost some much needed weight because we are shifting our focus on healthy eating.

Food is already prepared so all you need to do is microwave it. Health food and lots of it. Tasted delicious and very fresh. Makes my life a little easier.

Overall, I've had a great experience with Freshly. Any issues that have arisen (like coupon codes not showing up on account), were quickly resolved. The food is delicious, with a decent variety of options. I would ask that there be more introduction of new food options as it gets a little repetitive if you're eating 9 meals a week like I am. Overall, great experience.
Oh, and I would love if the boxes were actually delivered to the door, not the mail room. It's heavy to carry up to my door, especially with a dog in tow.

Overall experience with Freshly is very good. Very on-time service and excellent customer service. My only concern was that I don't like spicy or peppered foods, so my choices were limited. I would recommend Freshly to others. Food is flavorful and just right the amount, and no clean-up.

Food is very good. Need more opinions I order weekly and may soon get bored with the selection. Need more fish dishes, non-fried. Also Lamb dishes would be a great addition to menu

I am a very picky eater when it comes to meat. I have been extremely pleased with every meal I have eaten. The portions are large and very tasty. I have been so happy I am telling everyone I know about Freshly.

I recently had ankle surgery and was worried that I would gain weight while not being mobile for 6-8 weeks. Had just started the Freshly service about two weeks before the surgery. I'm now 5 weeks post surgery and have lost almost 15 pounds just from the diet change. Also, I've enjoyed most every meal with a couple exceptions which was an easy fix because the Freshly app is easy to use/understand. While I've found several meals I enjoy, I do wish the menu was a bit larger and updated more regularly. Other than that minor complaint, it's been fantastic. Can't wait to see how much more weight I lose after I start working out again! Great job Freshly! Would recommend.

Tasty. Packaged extremely well. Nice selection. Havent found even one entree that is inedible. Good combinations of foods. Havent missed mashed potatoes-cauliflower rocks! Thankful to be able to heat and eat without fuss and bother.

Too many foreign foods not enough healthy American staples to choose from fot those who enjoy a more basic selection.
I think the food has a lot of flavor. Its a great idea, just wish you could back it in the oven. I have tried but things didnt get cooked all the way. I would love more soup recipes.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
