Some of the meals were pretty good. Some of them were really salty. No wonder--they run between 30%-60% of sodium daily allotment, which is just too high to be considered healthy at all. The body is an electrical system and sodium and potassium balances are crucial to heart health, over time and on a daily basis. Eating one Freshly meal a day mandates reducing sodium greatly in anything else you might consume on the same day. I am willing to bet those who designed this menu could reduce the sodium and sort out another way to keep the flavor up. At home, I use lemon or a salt-free seasoning mix like Spike. It's not that hard. Also, the cholesterol was surprisingly high in some foods, even things made with chicken, kale and white beans. That should be a low-cholesterol meal.
First portions don't look anything like pictured. Much smaller. Second. Tasteless. Had my first meal today. Citrus Kissed Orange Chicken. It is now about 5 hours later and I'm laying here with stomach pains. I have 5 more meals and don't know if I want to chance eating them.
I've already cancelled. Don't like being taken advantage of! Oh and I can't find anywhere where it says ‘satisfaction guaranteed'. Wonder why? I'll stick with doing my own grocery shopping and getting fresh food. The inconvenience is no longer an issue!

Signed up initially under a United Mileage Plus promotion (1600 miles rewards) that was back in January. Now some 8 deliveries later they say I do not qualify. Have cancelled my membership. You know the food was good at the start, but got really messy when the Lock Down hit. Very poor quality. There are so many other companies that I will try.

I have not had delivery issues with out meals. That being said, we only tried it for two weeks and cancelled. Somebody's review said restaurant quality? Sad to see the restaurants you're eating at. For us a star above TV dinners. Broccoli was squishy, seasonings were average, quantities are small AND our biggest gripe I guess (yes we know the cost before hand but was hoping the quality was better) is that at 13.37 a meal we can easily go out minutes from our home for 26 dollars for 2.

Almost all the meals taste pretty gross, rubbery and greasy, especially all the dishes with beef. Most of the pieces I got were very fatty so I fed them to my dog. Their website states "Lose 5-10 lbs in your first week" but I don't see how when every time I take a bite I have grease all over my lips. Maybe I picked the wrong food but I am not going to order again to try.

When you're getting fresh food delivered to you every week, having good customer service is key. Freshly excels in that area. Whenever I've had even the slightest problem, CS has been proactive and responsive. I love that. The food is good and helps me eliminate thinking about what to do for lunch when working from home which is nice too. Can't say enough good things about Freshly!

I had expected 10 meals in my first delivery! As I stocked my fridge and checked the manifest, I realized I was missing 2 meals. I hopped on the freshly app and did a live chat with Alex F. Who was very polite and offered to credit my account for the 2 missing meals. He even explained that my box could have been packed too quickly and the 2 meals just didn't make it in. I appreciated the explanation since things do happen sometimes. I'm looking forward to enjoying these meals!

Freshly is a pre cooked meal delivery service. I personally enjoy the ten meals a week option. Being new to meal services I wanted one that would be easy to suspend or cancel if need be. Customer service is fantastic, especially from Steve who helped me recently.

I have mixed feelings about your preparations. About half range from Meh to almost delicious, but they are all too skimpy on the protein portions. As a result, I have often found myself having two in one night, which completely knocks the affordability (compared to restaurant-delivered) off the charts. In chat I have suggested you increase the protein portion size by 15% with a commensurate bump in cost, and call that tier of larger meals your "Hearty" or "Premium" choices. They would still sit in the same trays and sleeves. I would definitely go for an adequate single meal costing me $12 than two smaller meals that cost me $20+. As it sits now, after next week I will be ending my subscription.

Food tastes great, super convenient. My only complaints are 1) there isn't enough variety, I feel like I'm eating the same meals each week 2) they use chicken broth in some of their beef dishes and I am allergic to poultry.

I was able to change an order and later cancel the service with no trouble at all. Used freshly for several weeks while kitchen being worked on. Excellent menu, meals are great! I am sure I will return again.

We've tried several different food deliveries but this one has the highest quality and best tasting food ever! We actually look forward to our evening meal without huge preparation or time. It is higher calorie than diet meals but very satisfying!

Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

We do add a bit of sea salt to taste, but otherwise the sodium is from what is naturally occurring in the ingredients. Because we do not alter it, we've received feedback that the sodium seems higher than normal. It's largely from seasonings and marinades that we use.
If you're concerned about it for health reasons, research has shown that naturally occurring sodium isn’t necessarily bad for you. Keep in mind that high cholesterol has not been proven to be directly linked to heart issues. Only about 50% of heart attack victims have high cholesterol and of those who have high cholesterol about 50% do not have any heart disease. A better indication of heart disease is chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation puts you at twice the risk of dying from cardiovascular problems as those with high cholesterol.
