I was surprised to see such negative reviews. I find the food very good and love that the meals are ready in 3 minutes, are gluten and dairy free.
The service I have received has been terrific from Freshly including a phone call and email and refund of my entire order when some dairy was accidentally added to potatoes for one entree. Makes me wonder if these are real reviews?
I contacted support as my ordered had not arrived on time. Ivy handled this situation like a pro. She was knowledgeable, polite and attentive. Often times on chats I feel like the support person disappears or is handling multiple customers at once, I did not feel this way at all with Ivy. I asked a follow up question about my order having a replacement and she explained the whole process to me. This was my first order so I was not sure what to expect. She explained how everything happened and reminded me of my deadline for next week. If I owned a business that needed support/customer service people I would hire Ivy immediately. She took me from upset to educated.
It's been fantastic! Last week I had friends share meals with me. My friends husband found the pork chop meal to be very good. His wife (my friend) told me he usually comments that something is "ok" -the highest compliment to her cooking. She was a little miffed he found the meal I provided him rated "this is very good". She, on the other hand "loved" the chicken vegetable bowl...
It would be great if you allowed your customers to send "gift" meals to friends and family so they can experience your meals without the pressure of a subscription. I don't mind paying for their meals if I can surprise them or help them out etc. I find having multiple subscription services a deterrent. There has to be a better way. Your meals are delicious, generous in portion size ( I need a lot of protein and your meat portions are just right for me) and nutritious/organic with a variety of choices. What's not to love?

My wife and I (80 y/o) had initially used Hello Fresh in an attempt to make sure we were getting a balanced nutrition. As it turned out, it took me (the cook) 2 - 21/2 hours on an average to prepare each meal. Besides the time it took me to prepare the meals, we found that the food was heavily seasoned. We switched to Freshly, because it was still fresh products, but still took only 5 minutes to prepare. But, the kinds of meals were so much different than what we have experienced over the past 80 years. We both grew up as meat, potato and vegetable meal eaters. About the only seasoning we used was salt and pepper. There were some roasts or dishes that used other mild seasons, but not the norm. Freshly has made it easy, convenient, and affordable to eat right. I work almost 12 hours a day and really don't have the energy to meal prep. Not to mention my job puts me on the road almost all day. I've used freshly to help with my daily caloric limitations and the results are definitely noticeable. I feel better after meals, cut coffee, and experience much less heartburn, which was a big problem for me.

My family and I didn't like the quality of the meat. Especially the turkey which we love to eat when we make it ourselves. We have a new shipment arriving today because we forgot to cancel in time. At least the first two orders are more reasonable but Freshly has some work to do regarding flavor and texture of food. Precious was helpful in aiding me to cancel. The print was so small that I missed it until I asked for help.

My husband raves about your meals. I thought about slacking off for a week or two but he said NO. So keep them coming as you are keeping him happy with experiencing the various meals. There isn't one yet that he has said anything negative about. I Have my favorites too

Enjoying freshly for about a month and Im super impressed with the menu and selection and quality of the food. Can only say that one meal was not my cup of tea but all the rest have been a 3 to 4+. Delivery is always at the same time on Saturdays.
I have enjoyed the ease and convenience of weekly delivery. The meals are tasty and very convenient. There is a pretty good selection to not repeat weekly but I find myself really enjoying certain items and reordering. My only comment would be to have more green veggies with each meal. However I can add it myself so it isn't a deal breaker for me.

This is our first time ordering from Freshly, so far my picky husband ( who I married for 26 yrs.) was so surprised how good the food was, normally, he will complains, specially when it is not a home cooked. I've been ordering Freshly for over a month and a half now. The food arrives the day you request and packaged properly so it doesn't spoil. Every time I has a question, or needed to change something with my account, I would text the Freshly customer service. Having that connection is extremely convenient and helpful. Especially if you have a quick question. It's an actual person responding to you too which is even better. They are so friendly and attentive to your needs. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced is from Freshly. The food is wonderful and so full of flavor.

Due to various engagements, I simply don't have time to cook - especially to cook healthy food. Freshly's perfectly proportioned meals are a) tasty, b) diverse, and c) extremely easy to prepare (5 minutes from microwave to plate). If you're single or a really busy couple, I would highly recommend trying Freshly.

Food is tasty. Choices need to increase. Ordering is difficult and confusing. Monies earned never reflect on my next order unless I call about it. I love the full box when it arrives. Packaging excellent and we are big recyclers. Portions are adequate.

I had a great experience with customer service changing my meal choices after the deadline. Since so many teacher cafeterias are closed I rely on freshly for my lunch! And they are tasty and I didn't have to do any dishes. Thank you.

I was optimistic that this would be an alternative to eating out for lunch every day. I was horribly mistaken. The portions are super small and the protein tasted cheaper than an all you can eat buffet. Do not make the same mistake.

I've never been disappointed with Freshly's food and customer service. The few times I've had minor issues, they've been corrected immediately. Thank you, Max, for your recent help to resolve an issue! Quick and friendly, and I'm more than satisfied with his response.
I started getting Freshly to have lunches to take to school, then the shut down happened. My local grocery stores had huge lines and the shelves were bare. I have to be particularly careful of being around people because I have a son who is in the high risk category. Freshly solved that problem. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that we would like more new meal items.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
