I work midnight shift and I have little time to cook healthy meals. Im also budgeting everything on the Dave Ramsey baby step plan so this makes life extremely easy on me and my family. I highly recommend it!
I am very happy with the service and the food. My husband really likes the food, it is convenient, fresh, and delicious. The packaging is outstanding! There is certainly no worry about the food sitting out and getting warm, the gel packs were still frozen in the box after three days! You could spend about the same for a lot of different fast foods, but you would have to drive, pick up, food gets cold, etc. You only microwave for 2-3 minutes, and you're eating!

Very good meats, heavy on the vegetables which are seasoned well. Limited selections though, I've never been a big fan of Italian dishes with vegetables. Would like to see Chicken parmesan with pasta or salad. Also choices on vegetables.

Love this company. My crew are not adventurous eaters so this allows me to eat different items each week without making my family try things that they don't like. I cook their favorites and eat my Freshly for dinner.
I love your meals and find that I feel better when eating them. My skin has even improved. I would love to see more shrimp/fish options, although I know these can be more expensive to source. I'm also a Freshly Plus member, and I love that option. For me, paying a one-time fee, then lower costs week-to-week is ideal, and really makes the price/meal worth it. Kenny handled my issues with patience and helped me resolve my matter quickly. Although I was upset, I now feel better my situation. Freshly is great and worth the trying based on their dedication to ensuring customers are happy.
Still trying different meals. Some could use tweaking flavor wise. A bit pricey.
Generous portions, excellent packaging and delivery, though. Customer service a bit slow.
Would like to see family portions of more popular dishes.

I have been very happy with Freshly. The food is very convenient and delicious. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5:
1) I don't like the black plastic trays as our city does not recycle black plastic. I understand this might be the best choice considering the way they are shipped.
2) I wish Freshly could pick up the packaging material and reuse them. I feel guilty everytime I get a box.
3) I wish there are more varied dishes from week to week.

We love the variety of Freshly meals. Simply heat them - no need to assemble. Reliable delivery, easy to order and adjust weekly orders based on our schedule. Some of our favorites are the cauliflower pasta, chicken Livorno, meatloaf, etc.
We found out after our weekly order was confirmed that we had to leave town unexpected. Carol worked with us on different options to avoid having meals delivered to an empty house. Very friendly and helped resolve our problem.

I'm a registered dietitian who enjoys cooking and eating healthy. When my second son started to become mobile, cooking dinner became a disaster. Freshly was the perfect solution! The meals are not just healthy and delicious but also quite satisfying. I recommend this to all new parents who need a break from "doing it all".
I have been using Freshly for over a month now and I don't know how I lived without it! My husband and I stay very busy during the week and were spending a terrible amount of money on unhealthy fast food and frozen meals. Freshly saves us money and allows us to keep an extremely healthy diet. I love their whole foods philosophy. I recommend plating the meals (as they suggest on the package). It will help anyone with doubts to get past the packaging and realize that this is not your average prepared meal. The portion sizes are just enough to get us full, so we don't have wasted food (or overeat). The food tastes great! I still don't know how they make the chicken breast so juicy! They introduce a new meal every week, so we always get to try something new! I have already recommended this to my friends and will continue to sing Freshly's praises to everyone I know. I plan on being a very LONG TERM customer. Thank you Freshly!

We joined the Freshly family a couple months ago, and it has been a good experience. We are a busy family with no time to cook, so the product you provide fits our need. The quality has been great, the portions are above average. Compared to the competitors, the price is very reasonable. My only concern is the lack of options from week to week. I would love to see more turn on the menu. I've noticed myself eating the same dishes over and over and that has become a drag. Other than that, we are pleased and look forward to continued business with your team.
I've been using freshly for 2 months and I really LOVE it. The meals are very tasty, nutritious and portions are good - not minuscule like some other places or frozen dinners. I get 12 per week so I have lunch and dinner ready to go and honestly, for a little over $100 a week, it's a bargain. Any meals I dont use I pop in the freezer. I share them w friends when they come over for dinner and it's worked out great. I know I'm eating less fast food and box food for sure. Thanks freshly!

I'm grateful to have these meals during this stay at home time. I feel that they are average in taste flavor & consistency. Nothing stands out as wow that was really delicious. They tend to be bland and mushy. I'm sorry I can't be more positive. I don't have suggestions on how you can improve.

I've tried a few others but Freshly beat them all. Lots to choose from so it never gets boring. Portion sizes are more than satisfactory. Price is very good. And, most importantly, the food is delicious! I've even tried a few new things and found them amazing! This will be the only service I use.

The service/delivery is definitely top tier and convenient. The food itself is just "whatever" (like a notch tastier than frozen food, but obviously more healthy). Its not bad, but absolutely nothing to write home about. If it was cheaper than $10 per meal, I might have a more positive view on this service; but for how the food taste in light of how much I'm paying, i don't think its worth it. The only reason why I'm still using Freshly is purely for the convenience factor. If there was a better (tastier) option out there, I'm gone.

Freshly has delicious meals in perfect sizes but I wish there were more meal delivery day options. My husband and I both work and getting deliveries on Monday would be optimal so we could enjoy the meals during the week instead of cooking. We get Saturday delivery and those need to be eaten by weds.

Only a few of the meals are beyond mediocre. Moreover there is a recurring problem with meal delivery. In the short time I have been a subscriber, my delivery has been missed a number of times. I truly wish you would use someone other than UPS for delivery. It should be noted that your customer service reps, like DJ today, have been quite helpful in rectifying the situation, but it's a shame that so many meals have gone to waste.

I'm loving Freshly. After a long day I work, I don't have to come home and figure out what to cook for dinner. I also don't buy a bunch of groceries that wind up going bad before I can use them. Love the different menu options and how it new options rotate in periodically. Everything I have had has been really good and it's super affordable. I highly recommend Freshly.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)

Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
