These people charged me $39.90 for something I know nothing about. I ask for my money back as I live on a fixed income. They said I would hear from them in two days and guess what? That did not happen.
This company is a scam! I never signed up for any services and yet they charged my account monthly without Authorization. When I called in the representative was so rude and they will not issue any refunds.
Stick to the 3 Bureaus directly this site offers you nothing. I signed up for the service and each time I attempted to pull up my score I was always met with "Site has run into a temporary issue with your request". After unlocking my credit reports after 2 months of service still I received the same message. I have gone directly to the 3 Bureaus to monitor my credit and have had no problem. This site did absolutely nothing for me but make me input my personal information multiple times before giving me nothing. Waste of time and money!
They are attached to car dealerships apps that force you to sign up for your application to be processed for a car! They charged me $39.00 I call them tell I don't want or need their services the guy tells me I won't get my money back and he advised I keep the services! Why when I don't want or need I have free access to monitor my credit score! They are getting rich by charging all the these people $39! They all can burn in hell! Thieves
This site is a complete scam. I signed up for a 7 day free trial and attempted to cancel after 3 days. I just wanted to see if what they reported was the same as other sites, a couple of my credit cards provide FICO scores every month, so I was just curious.
I should have read the reviews first but I didn't, my fault.
First you cannot cancel online via "chat", email or an online cancel link. The only contact method they provide is a phone number. I called the number 3 times and the call kept getting dropped after I told them what I wanted.
They acted nice and helpful but obviously kept hanging up on me. After the 3rd time I called my credit card company and locked my account. Funny how that call went through perfectly.
I used this site to pull my credit reports. It was suppose to cost $1 and I was charged an additional $24.95 plus they have been charging me monthly for services I didn't sign up for. What a ripoff! Beware!
So I stupidly gave these ppl my info. I immediately cancelled my card, and when I called to cancel my membership (not even 10 mins after signing up) a representative stated he was unable to locate my info. My card as well did not go through, but was charged $1... is anyone else having an issue with representatives stating they aren't a member, but still getting charged?
And if I can't cancel my so called 'membership', and have cancelled my card, are they going to try and bill me through mail?
Wish I had read these reviews before signing up. Glad I wasn't the only one who seemingly cancelled online only to find that you still get charged. This site is designed to rip people off, find any other site for this service. You will be glad you did.
I followed the instructions that allow you to canel the membership. Which was successful. The problem I have is, I cancelled the membership in February 2012, and the charges started up again at $17.95 April 2013. I am in the process of disputing the charges now with my credit card company now.
This company is ridiculous. Stay away from them. I cancelled my account today thinking that today is the last day of the trial period. They said that they count the first day on the day you sign up and not the next day. I've tried other credit companies before but this is the first time this happened to me. Customer service sucks! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!
Honestly, I don't think most of you understand how credit works. From what I've experienced freescore.com has provided exactly what they said they would provide. My problem with them however is that they cancelled my membership and say that I called on 01/07/2015 to cancel it. I've never paid late because it's on auto pay to a credit card that has plenty of available credit on it. I never called. I've been a member for several years, I think I joined in 2010 or so. The only time I ever had to call the company is when I originally set up my account back in 2010... so how did I call in 01/2015 to cancel? Aren't they supposed to keep a secure eye on my identity? If so did someone else call to cancel their account and somehow end up canceling mine? I don't know what happened but they seem to not want me to reinstate my account because I have already called twice in the last month to have them reinstate it and I get told they will have a manager call me... and nobody has called.
I would give this company a minus 1 star if it was available. The representative assured me that I would not be billed. I was billed. After called them back to see if the issue was concerning my billing. The representative assured me my account was canceled, I had been billed and I could look at the service. I have access to the account that is canceled for 30 days. But we are sorry. The answer was repeatedly I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can, but I want to help you.
Because of the site I failed to get ahouse that I wanted thinking my score was in the 589. The val loan required a 620 and up. I thought I had 589. When I looked up my real score through Fico it was 660! A month later. There credit score fako score is the worst! I cancelled.

Another slick, well-funded trap for the uninformed. This site, just like most others of it's genre, lets you think you'll be accessing your "credit scores", only to vector you to the "service" that you can "try" for 7 days. UGH. Look, if you're THAT interested in seeing your credit report, you can order one every 12 months for FREE directly from any or all of the Credit Bureaus. For a small fee you can order one even more frequently. AND your getting your confidential information directly from the source (and not putting your personal info out on the internet). You want to CALL for your reports. Here are the numbers;

Awful customer service rep. I was trying to cancel my account with customer service and she said she could not find my email, I told her this is the same email I use to log in with on your web sight, then she started going back and forth yelling about this is not my right email I told her she should treat customer with respect. All of sudden out of no where she told me 3 times to go $#*! MY SELF "What kind of. Customer service is this " what place of a business does this or that to customers, she hung up on me I called back to talk to a supervisor and some how they found my email in there system I cancel my account with them. It is sad when you have people like her "that girl or so call women I talk to" work in some one place of business of acting a fool or like she have no since of respect an knowledge she needs to be fired and also the person that hire her need to be fired too. AWFUL PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH, NO RATINGS AND NO STARS.
Had a very negative experience. I was under the assumption it was free and they charged me 14.95 every month and did not even bother to refund the money when i disputed
Stay away from these people. I cancelled within 7 days and they charged my credit card anyway and told me I never cancelled but agreed to keep the membership at a reduced rate. Uh no, I did not. After a time consuming back and forth exchange and being transferred to another person they finally agrred to refund my credit card but had the nerve to tell me they were doing me a courtesy. I even provided them with my cancellation number but they still basically told me I was lying. They are crooks!

Its a SCAM to get your personal information. The site does not work correctly half the time and I was not able to see my score a single time. The personal information is possibly sold to third parties.
Yeah, FreeScore sucks.
I didn't even get to view my score.
I created an account, had to go through an online process to prove my identity.
That didn't work, so I was told to fax in my drivers license and copy of bill to prove my identity, that took 36 hours. Where I received an email confirming they received and approved it.
But, I go and log into the site again, and I still cannot get in, because now my account has been temporarily suspended.
I email Free Score.com again, and i get a reply saying that I have to call TransUnion to update my file. I call them and they say my file is accurate. So, I call FreeScore now, to say WTF. And am told that I need to fax in my ID again?!
The first time went to TransUnion (where the call center guy says he cannot find it) - yeah Great! - and that this time I need to send it to FreeScore.com
Anyway, I said forget it and cancel my account. Hopefully they can get that right.
