Really Love & appreciate their services they are constantly keeping it up to date & secure. Before i was working on upwork but when i explored freelancer then i never logged in back to upwork. Because freelancer was what i was looking for! Highly Recommend Freelancer Platform to all freelancers & Employers. Specially Preferred Freelancer Program is the Best ever Offer of freelancer Platform. Great PFP (freelancer Staff) they are very professional love all of them. There are few things need to update in terms and conditions that is (reversal of milestone payment. This is the only problem i faced here on freelancer. My payment reversed on employer actions of breaking platform policies) everything else was Perfect.
Thanks Freelancer
Freelancer.com is a great marketplace. But it has some problems. There is a lot of fake projects maximum posted by Indians. Freelancer should take care of it. As well as there is another problem "Reverse". After job completion the given payment by client has been reversed. I think it should be solved. Others are good to me. Thanks Freelancer to provide us a great opportunity to work with you.
I had the pleasure of receiving support from Jake S., and I must say he was extremely helpful and professional. He listened carefully to my concerns, I really appreciate his support and highly recommend him as a valuable member of the freelancer support team!
My association with Freelancer is approximately 4 years long. Freelancer is a great platform for those looking forward to utilize their talent and earn income.
I get most of my projects through Freelancer and this platform is helping me give shape to my dreams.
I got amazing experience while getting preferred freelancer badge. It really made me so profit and gained so many long term clients. Thanks Freelancer.com for such amazing experience here.
Macall C. Has provided me with information about becoming a Verified freelancer, detaling the benefits and explaing the verification process. Very nice and informative interaction as always.
Nice talk, No hesitant and such a great person than others. In other word "YOU ARE DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB "
I have been a Freelancer for the past 4 years. If you have above good sought after skills, are prepared to put in effort and is not after a quick financial solution, this platform can provide you, after time, with a good income flow.
Like any crowd sourcing website, you have to learn that there are "employers" who are not what they seem and can frustrate you and waste your time. You need to be able to identify those as good as you can and avoid them.
Can Freelancer.com improve? Which employer can not? It will help if they add some verification (event just email verification) for employers, prior to allow them to post projects.
Overall, Freelancer.com has helpful staff and their system do support and report hard working contributors. To a great extent, it is up to you to make it work.
Enjoying a great facility to bid early or sometimes bid first. Helps me to impress employer early with few bids or no bids for the project.
Freelancer support desk is very active to timely aware and support writers regarding better way to resolve disputes.
I like work during Freelancer, high profit, many clients see your work and big companies
Also help you to make teams to make different projects
It was very good experience with support. They are quick and guided well with good knowledge about the process.
The site is great, but I always face issues when employer are unable to release milestone. Sometime they end up having duplicate milestone.
Freelancer has been a great source of income for me! I love the way it works and I have never had any problems with it.
It provides me a great platform to interact with my clients and get them to pay on the lowest website commission anywhere over the internet.
Furthermore, it saves you a lot of trouble from by keeping some checks on fraudulent clients and gives you the best clients from the world.
I would refer freelancer.com to anyone who is entering into this world of freelancers.
Best of Luck

Sandra was a great help! Keep it up... Thanks for the assistance. Hope to get authentic projects going further.
I've worked almost 9 years on Freelancer.com and can really say that their team and professionals are very capable of solving any issue or doubt in a prompt manner. The website is tryly a life-changing experience.
I have questions about the cancellation of the milestone payment. I don't intend to create 2 milestones. Antoinette B. Was very helpful and friendly. She answered my questions and helped me process a refund.
Freelancer had been a pleasure to work with. The support team has been excellent and the processes smooth.
It's really amazing to work with Freelancer and their team. Very supportive and there are many projects to choose from. Thank you!
As an Indian, I almost felt constrained by my domestic boundaries as far as work and pay were concerned. However, Freelancer has helped me transcend that boundary and has helped me work with people from around the world and be paid what I know I deserve for my work on an internal scale.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
