Freelancer has changed many lives, including mine. Freelancer team supported and advised me at every stage. Carmen and the team, as I recall, were always there and lifted me from tough situation as I was having at times.
They have changed my life.

Stella was amazing and a joy to work with. She quickly found the person that I needed to work with and his professional work ethic has been excellent. I would highly recommend other people to work with her and FreeLancer.com
All of these positive reviews have GOT to be rigged! I was a freelancer and a employer on this website and have had nothing but bad experiences. Never again. I've given this company too many chances. Good luck to the rest of you!
Sandra was very polite, showed patience, and answered my questions. Be happy that I take the time to do this survey instead of asking for 100 characters. Starts to get annoying.:-)
Was answered quickly and resolved my problem without too much fuss. To be totally honest it would have been nice not to have felt like I was asking something that wasn't fair but that said, there was no quibbling and the matter was resolved to my satisfaction.
Customer Service Rep was very professional and helped with the matter at hand. Was a pleasure to deal with.
Mr Donald CX Specialist guided me in quite great way and told me how to avoid such problems from happening again. I am very much happy for there support and also thankful for there help.
I want a withdrawl to my bank account and freelancer support help me in seconds. I had a good assistance.
I had the pleasure of getting assistance from Rickey U. He offered quick responses, was very courteous, helpful, and assertive. Thank you for the awesome service provided.
I have been dealing with Freelancer.com for almost a couple years. When doing multiple projects and dealing with various freelancers... the website for Freelancer.com is the most screwed up under designed website I have ever dealt with. Their chat windows are inadequate to have a proper conversations with a freelancer and the most misdesigned part is their milestone system. It will automatically double charge your credit card and I have been trying for almost one month for them to either refund the funds or to credit back to my account. Their support department are as dumb and incompetent as you can get. I strongly recommend you look for other Freelancer type websites and deal with them. Most freelancers are listed with multiple companies. For me I will never deal with Freelancer.com again. Bad Bad Company. Totally mismanaged. They would make a good short sell because with the level of service they have provided me they won't be in business much longer.
Really Good support and amazing!
Love you and love freelancer.com forever. Whatever I asked about how to add my payment method Payoneer. Really I am satisfied with Roxanne because she's really awesome and helpful.
I want to contact with her when I fail with any problems. Because she's really expert how to solve any problem related to freelancer.com
1. Confusing webpage with a lot of different options, who are hard to deal with for a first time user
2. When made a project, i was highly recommended on the page to make a "contest".
3. The "contest" got me extremely bad stuff - i was shocked to see how bad it was, but my money where "locked"
4. I contaced support, with no help what so ever
5. I had to pick one of the offers at the "contest". I picked the best so fare
6. She did not deliver at all - NOTHING that i was trying to get at Freelancer worked out
7. Again i made a complain to support, with no answer
8. I was forced to "sign the papers" - giving away my 50 euros.
9. The design-stuff i got for 50 euro i could make better myself in photoshop in 10 min.
10. ** that $#*!. I will NEVER recommend, use or what so ever deal with Freelancer again
Very quickly helped with the decision of a difficult situation! It was very nice that I quickly answered and took note. I will use this app for use :)
The experience was good and the person was very helpful and resolved quickly and efficiently. Thanks
I had a number of questions regarding creating a new Project with Options that weren't well-described on their site. I was able to initiate an online chat with a "Peggy R." and she was able to answer all of my questions fully.
I was so confused when I tried 2 times to type the same number as the bank had contacted me, the last chance I contacted the online support team and my problem is solved. Thanks Katie and support team!
Kayla B was very helpful and showed me that freelancer.com will be helping me with the situation at hand
Great support! Helped me out with what I needed and quick. I think her name was crystal. Maybe it was a he. Who knows. They never show their faces. :(
Of course Josie was the best,
I have spoken with so many assistance but she was faster then all.
Thanks Josie for keeping a kind and sweet language.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
