He is nice. He have a mind to understand my feelings and what I said.
A++ rating.
All other freelancers hesitated to help me. He atleast saves 2k-3k INR for me.
Being on the freelancer platform for a while one would think I know the menus and options generally well. Well. Turns out I was a bit too trigger happy today and accidentally invoked an option that cost a few dollars. Whilst it wasn't my intention to invoke that option, I was skeptical about the support I would get from help desk. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by the support I got. However. I have to ask freelancer to implement a confirmation dialog for each financial transaction.
They were fast and helpful! They were quick to find my issue and give me info as well as reverse my mistake.
I don't know where to start...
If you want to be scammed and throw thousands down the drain then sure, Freelancer is the perfect site for you. If you want quality of service, completed projects, helpful support and a run for your money then look elsewhere. Upwork will likely be good, going to give them a try myself after recently being scammed for 4.5K!
Freelancer convinced me to release milestones as I was going to be away for a few days, promised to complete project. I presumed I was safe as the conversation was available for support to see however, I presumed wrong!
This Freelancer has total access to the site (I have none except 'his' login). The Freelancer has delivered a broken site that can't launch as it just wouldn't function. Promised to deliver the perfect site in 2 weeks and was hired by 'Freelancer' so I had total faith and remained kind throughout. He delivered no site in 8 weeks and now isn't responding to fix errors.
DO NOT USE FREELANCER. YOU WILL REGRET IT!
My request was handled promptly, the employee was able to assist me with my request with little hassle..
She was very patient and helpful. We were unsure on how to process partial payments and she was very helpful.
Please read the reviews before signing up with these people. I bid on a job, but I never accepted because I realized I was being scammed, after reading the reviews. So, I logged into my Freelance.com account to close it, but it seems there is a negative balance for which I'm suppose to hit "confirm" so my pay pal account can be charged $61.68. Well, I called Pay Pal and was told it cannot be charged unless I hit confirm. I will close this Freelance.com account as soon as my free trial has expired. Be warned, this is a scam and read the reviews!
Freelancer.com is the best freelancing site... Their support team always helped me out I would like to say that we had a perfect communication and I got a professional service from her.
I contacted the freelancer support team where I was assisted by Kayla B. She helped me with the doubts I had, she was very kind and punctual with the help.
I got refunded for the membership automatic activation. They refund me after asking for the same.
Thank You so much the refund.
A fast and kind support team! My support operator Stephanie helped me a lot and solved my problem. Thanks to her.
I had chat with Charlotte, and she did an amazing by patiently answering all my queries. Overall she was really a help for me to get started, which otherwise i would have struggled.
It was so quick and easy. The representative was professional and even offered to help me.
I want more people like that todo CS.
I had a live chat with Kayla B. I would like to say that we had a perfect communication and I got a professional service from her.
Freelancer.com is the best freelancing site... Their support team always helped me out whenever there is something goes wrong.
I have a client that has gone "silent" on my and I am awaiting the release of 180 euro. Reached out to support and Kelvin has emailed the client for me
I got a prompt and very professional response from Kayla B in Freelancer. Excellent customer service.
It never seems to disappoint me... At first you might think that freelancer is stringent and that you cant get through but i think whatever they do is in the best interest of their freelancers both employers and the employees. I think this team has made this platform the best among st the rest. I am very satisfied and happy to be a part of this.
Was very clear and nice explaining fo my payment confusion
Thank you so much
Its great customer serves ever
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
