I had some questions for identification, but I could understand easily by her help. She was very kind. If you have any questions, please chat her. She will tell you everything.
It was communication so less. I have already complete the handover file & this project closed. But, I don; t get my price.
I was having a seriously problem with my project, i released the milestone by mistake, thought i lost the money forever, but i didnot, Kayla B was there and helping me step by step, no matter how i saw some hope. Kayla is really helpful. Thank you very much
Josie G was very helpful and took the time to email my employer on my behalf to mark the project complete.
Brenda was help me for my isui to refund my money, i just tell to she my history about trying for service
Was asked for help a couple times but keep disconnect, finally i can make it done by Katie. I can do it easily by her guide
I had to contact Support for some reason, and I only had to wait a minute till an agent response.
Here name was Brenda, and my problem was solved within 5 minutes.
Keep up the good works, thanks.
My first experience will be the last one. After completing a project and sending the final files, the client disappeared without paying. I immediately reported this to Freelancer and Paypal support, hoping at least to recover a 41 eur fee, but instead of helping me, they limited my profile, intimating me to withdraw the paypal contention and preventing me to display the user messages. Based on what they answered, I should ask the employer to cancel the project (although I have completed it for a value of 380 euros), wait 28 days for an answer, and only then I could ask for a refund, which however have to be evaluated by the staff.
I advise you to stay away from this site, they protect the dishonest and give no guarantee to those who enroll because they need to work. I'm going to report them to the postal police.
Thanks for great help. I think I asked a million questions and took about an hour of Charlotte B. For my issues but he is a pro and helped a lot. Thanks again. Please take care of such employees of yours, he is one of the best employees you have. I appreciate his work and professionalism a lot. Totally recommended.:)
I also want to give a short feedback regarding the corporate membership account below and it will be great if you can forward to the relevant team for review for changes in the plan.
"I think while applying for corporate account, creating a new account for the same is not a great idea, it creates lot of confusion and has some bugs like there will be two URLs and two usernames for each account i. E. corporate and personal and the major blunder is when someone want to get the corporate back to personal account, then freelancer.com will ask to end one of the two personal accounts which a user never wanted to have two accounts. So its like you are deliberately asking to get two accounts in the beginning of this program and then in the end, you are asking to shut down your oe of the two (grown up) accounts. This should not be so complicated. You should directly have options to make personal and corporate account option and if a user is not happy with either of the options, you should give the option to convert it into other way round. That is the simple and best idea which will also help freelancer.com to get more people interested in corporate account. I look forward to get a reply from your people regarding the same. Thanks."
They just want money from you, nothing else.
Never go for it. There are lot of bugs as well.
This platform need some tool to detect employer confidentiality to damage control freelancer payments.
I had a simple account information issue which was handled very quickly but also respobily, i felt that my account would be safe in case an issue presented again.
. Great place for finding some work and or entering contests for extra money. Competition is fierce.
Help desk has been very helpful.
The only thing I can say bad about Freelancers is they take to much of the freelancers money and or winnings.
Great support from Rhian C. As freelancer.com support representative. Nice to talk and great help. Thanks again.
Supporter was helpful, thanks. He helped me to do what I want. But this 100 character must is not good. Please improve your review page.
Antionette gave me all the answers to all my questions and they were several so I'm grateful and happy with her.
Did what was asked with little issues in doing so. I am only adding these words so I can hit that 100 character limit.
I am new in freelancer and i had a tons of answers about payment. Fortunately Mark G. Helped me a lot. I am very satisfied with his / her services.
Freelancer has the superb support staff. Other platforms can not compare to it. Charlotte B. Is the best user support on Freelancer. I recommend her with all my hearth and mind! She helped me resolve the issue that other could not and i had that issue for almost one moth.
Kimberly R. Is very good communicated with me and feelfull got solution of my requirement... i had some problems negative balance!
New in hiring freelancer, i got one issue, and I found the quick support from the support chat of freelancer.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
