Talking with Xavier B. Was a very good experience, simple and clear, will have helped me to better project myself in my quest for success on the platform.
I was explicit describing what I needed from the person who would take my request. After I contacted her, and again said what I needed, she decided her price would go from $250.00 to $600.00. Not in my budget, otherwise I would have picked someone who was asking for more.
This is my first time working with your company, and am sorry it did not work out.
I do thank you for returning my money.
The complaint was handled very well and kindly. The response was quick, and the explanations were clear, so there was no misunderstanding, even for someone like me who does not use English as my primary language.
I have used this site for over a decade as a lawyer. Periodically, I get some interesting cases to work on from around the world. It's a different kind of site that has a lot of protections to ensure that no one is committing fraud.
A client paid me 2x accidentally and the matter was handled expeditiously by Dannette O. It was seamless and took less than 2 minutes. I was afraid that it was going to be burdensome and that it was going to take a lot of red tape. I didn't want my client to think I was up to something in returning it, although she admitted that she made the mistake.
Not at all. Great job. I also want to give a shout-out to Selena V. who is very patient with all of my questions. Freelancer has excellent support staff!
Excellent and its helpful. I appreciate your assustance. I'm honest & carefull. I am an experienced graphic designer. I deeply understand different types of graphic design works. Thanks.
I have taked to the Angie M as support. And I am very satisfied with her work and the efforts she had put in my case. I actually talked to many support members but I should say that we have very few like her and we require more like her. Such people are reason for people like us to be here on freelaner. I had 3 cases she kept all solved and review on her own. Love you Angie for the work you have done.
I had an excellent experience with customer care! The team was prompt, professional, and very helpful in resolving my issue. They took the time to understand my situation and provided a solution quickly. I truly appreciate their support and would highly recommend their services. Thank you for your great assistance!
My experience with Freelancer has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform provides excellent tools for managing projects, communicating with clients, and showcasing my skills. The Preferred Freelancer Program has enhanced my visibility and credibility, leading to more exciting opportunities. The customer support team has always been responsive and helpful whenever needed. Overall, Freelancer offers a fantastic environment for freelancers to grow their careers, and I look forward to continuing my journey here. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build or expand their freelancing business

It was a pleasure working with this team! They were professional, communicative, and delivered high-quality support. I highly recommend them!
Let me know if you'd like any further refinements! 😊
I am extremely grateful for the assistance provided today. Reuben was incredibly helpful and took the time to thoroughly address my concerns. The guidance was clear, concise, and exactly what I needed. I highly appreciate the effort to ensure I understood everything, and I feel more confident moving forward. Thank you, Reuben, for your excellent support!
Lovely experience, quicker than the first time, Angie was very lovely and straight to the point helpful too. She showed how to go about it. As an agent she's great.
However as an institution I think you need to make wholesale improvements, particularly with your verification systems, I found the processes are unnecessarily long, taxing and not clear, one has to repeat the same steps over and over again in order to get desired results.
Particularly I found the payment and sms verification processes labourious.

I had a problem with "dormant account" fees being taken out of my account and thought I would need to argue my side but Danette quickly refunded the fees and explained how not to have it happen in the future. It was all taken care of in only a few minutes. Great service!
It was very pleasant. What I enjoyed most was the feedback and the new functionalities that the badge provides.
Will be using a laptop of my own (to avoid any VPN issies posed by my laptop from Bosch), and will see how it goes. I did notice Freelancer.com has about 2-3 times a year some very interesting projects which I regret having not been able to catch, but now it will no longer be the case.
The interview went in a frirndly manner and I had a nice partner for chat :)
I recently had a small issue with a withdrawal on Freelancer and Freelancer's amazing customer support team member (Xavier B) helped resolve it in the most efficient way possible :)
It was good experience overall with jonny, so kind, so helpful, ask me questions realted to my past freelancer journey. I recommend all of you to connect with jonny at once, so you know his kind nature.
Thanks Jonny sir
"Criselda" answered my questions quickly.
She answered all my questions accurately.
She paid close attention to my question and gave an appropriate answer.
Well, My experience was with Russell, We had a meeting together, she start asking me politely questions about my birthday, date of join, country and social media accounts link... Then he helped me go through different questions about my skills and later on add back the verified badge to my account.
Thanks Russell.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
