DON'T BUY!
April 18, 2022

I ordered a picture of a beach in Maui and it was ABSOLUTELY DULL! The frame didn't look anything like the picture on the website either! I was even more disappointed when it cost me $50 to return the picture when it only cost Framed Art $30 to send it to me! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I ordered a poster online that was displayed as a Gustav Klimt piece. After I ordered it, I told a guest that it was a Klimt piece only to find out that it was not; It was by another artist altogether. Embarrassing. I email customer service because of their 100% satisafaction guarantee only to recieve an email back with no apology, no explanation, and a very generic response on how I can recieve a refund if I send it back and to pay for my own shipping cost. Outrageous right? So I have to pay out of pocket to return a terrible quality print, which by the way, not only was the color was way off and too dark, the artist they claimed it was by was INCORRECT! I will never be ordering from them again and will be warning others about their fraudulent service.

DO NOT BUY THEIR FRAMES!
June 4, 2022

Do not purchase a frame. I bought a large frame which completely came apart a month and a half after purchase. Luckily, the picture is still intact.

Insufficient packaging
January 21, 2021

I ordered three different items from this company and all three arrived damaged. Shipping companies are brutal so it is incumbent upon manufactures to package their products knowing that they will experience VERY rough handling during shipment. We can't fix the problems with rough handling by shippers but we surely could fix the way we package things.
The first picture I ordered included 'non-glare' plexiglas and that was a big mistake. Due to it having three mats and the non-glare plexiglas the picture was very blurry. I took it to a local frame shop and they put in some clear plexiglas and problem solved. This picture arrived with a damaged corner. The box also looked like it was not sealed well.
The second picture I ordered arrived with one corner of the plexiglas unsecured by the frame. I was able to slip the plexiglas back under the frame. This plexiglas really should be a little bigger so doesn't slip out from under the frame. Poor craftmanship.
The third picture I ordered arrived completely destroyed. The box had been taped shut, and the frame had fallen apart. They gave me a quick refund no questions asked but nevertheless quite a letdown.
We have a problem with our shipping companies where products are being shipped in ground trucks. The packages are removed, handled very roughly, and put onto another truck every time they arrive at a new shipping center along the way. For a package that ships from the east coast and arrives at a location far away, say the west coast, it probably gets handled roughly a minimum a dozen times. So, I guess the moral of the story here is... if you are ordering artwork to be shipped make sure you are ordering from a company that is fairly local so your package gets handled less times. I will never order from this company again as I live on the west coast and they are shipping from the east coast, I believe.

Deceitful...
March 5, 2024

Beware, they show non-glare glass as an option for your frame. You can order it and they will charge you for it. However they will ship non-glare ACRYLIC, aka plastic, in the frame. Upon receipt I called the company and was told that non-glare glass had been discontinued. But no indication of that on the ordering website. A very DECEITFUL business practice.

So the option is "discontinued", but you can order it and we will charge you for it. And if you don't notice, T.S. On your part! I did notice it immediately and called and to their was given a refund the next day.

This is a classic case of Buyer Beware!

Garage sale quality prints and framing
November 14, 2021

I ordered two prints. The quality of the reproduction is very low, blurry, and the frames are cheap plastic. One of the frames flexes and no doubt if I hang it, over time the frame will bow down. Awful product all the way around. The prints look like ones you'd skip over in a garage sale for $5. I'm in publishing so I recognize printing quality. The website shows "50% off," but the products are always on sale so don't fall for that gimmick. They accept returns, but that's expensive. You don't get the $35 to $45 in shipping to you refunded, and you have to pay shipping back to framedart.com, so a return, in my case anyway, will be $70 to $90. I thought I'd save money over buying from art.com, but art.com products are high quality, the frames are wood, the paper is top quality, the printing is crisp, and they have free shipping, so you don't save anything at framedart.com. Oh, be sure to read the fine print about returns. To return your art to framedart.com you have to put it in the original packing, include the packing slip, call for a return authorization, and insure it. If you don't insure it and the glass cracks or the frame falls apart (real possibility), you don't get a refund. Despite the hassle and expense, I'm returning my prints tomorrow.

Great value!
February 5, 2016

I ordered the "Delphine Corbin-Oriental Collage IV," and couldn't be happier. The framing and the matting was perfect for the print. The picture is beautiful. I would have bought the entire set if I had room on my walls. The colors are exactly as presented on the website. The picture was sent well packaged and was received in good condition.

Shopped for weeks to find my perfect framed art for new house. FIRST delivery, frame in two corners were not joined properly. The picture had white streaks in many places, easily seen. I tried to see if they would scratch off but didn't want to damage the picture in fear I wouldn't be able to return it. They seemed very nice about correcting the problem and sent out another. SECOND DELIVERY, the frame was in MUCH worse condition but the picture had less of the white streaks. Elizabeth at Framed Art assured me that SHE herself inspected these before it left the shop. I contacted them again, always sending pictures with my emails. I just received my THIRD DELIVERY and the frame is completely apart in every corner so when you pick it up it falls apart. But, the picture is better than the other two, not perfect but it'll do. We will try to use some touch up paint to cover the couple white spots. I just can't keep dealing with this so, we will figure out how to rebuild the frame. It might be easier to start from scratch building our own. I was purchasing it so we would have it up on the wall before Christmas. My husband said there's no way Elizabeth inspected both, picture AND frame and allowed them to be shipped. He said they just didn't care. He doesn't believe that happened in the shipping process. I first ordered back in October thinking there's no way I wouldn't have it on my wall in our new house on display for Christmas time, but I was wrong! Even though the Customer Service seemed very nice they had a real hard time making their product a quality product. Sorry, I'd have a difficult time saying, you should get your framed art here.
