I was searching for a 75" Samsung QLED tv. They were the cheapest so I decided to go for it. A day after I ordered the TV online I was contacted by one of their representatives and informed I would be charged an additional $160 for "insurance". This was required. I had no choice but to agree. I ordered the TV on Nov 23. It took over 8 business days for the TV to reach it's first destination... New Jersey. It sat in New Jersey for 5 days. It took the shipping company(AM Trucking) 7 days to get the TV from New Jersey to the terminal in the State of Washington. I live in Oregon. I called today since the TV has been sitting in Washington for 3 days. I was told it was going to sit in Washington until Wednesday Dec 27th. In the meantime I have reached out to Firstclasstv's and they have my money so they don't seem to care that it will have taken over a month for the TV to be delivered. So my recommendation... if you are just looking to save money and don't care if the TV arrives in a week or a month then yeah these guys have the price. Forget about service though. You'll get none of that.

All went well from start to finish. I would suggest leaving yourself at least two to three weeks for delivery and you will not be disappointed.

Took longer than expected to get shipping information. The offered a service plan that seemed a bit expensive. I declined. I did get the white glove service for getting the TV down a flight of stairs into our entertainment center (glad that I did). Overall I'm satisfied with First Class TV and would recommend them to others. They had the best price on the LG C8 OLED! Saved about $2,000!
Delivery took a little while, but the product arrived and worked flawlessly. All good. :)

Deals that are almost too good to be true! Time from purchase to beginning of shipping is fast. Shipping itself is a little on the slow side but still made estimated time window. Delivered in home and plugged in to prove functionality. Worth the wait!
My big TV arrived in good shape and it was exactly what I ordered. The TV was delivered by a third party and they took three weeks to deliver the product. That was within the estimated shipping time.
Great people to deal with - Great prices - Delivery was very good - My only issue was the call I received to confirm the delivery day and time. It was static and mumbled, sounded like they were at the end of a very long tunnel. The name stated and the phone number given and shown was neither that of Firstclasstvs.com nor that of AM Trucking. So the call was ignored as SPAM. It seems that this is an issue at AM Trucking. I payed close attention to my email and confirmed delivery thru that. The delivery info I got off the AM Trucking site for time, day and who (with pictures of the two men) was spot on. They were very nice and showed up right in the middle of the time window. I would certainly do business with Firstclasstvs.com again.

Answer: Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money. If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost. Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.

Shipping insurance is a variable cost and changes based on factors such as location, TV dimensions, weight. In order to keep the price low and give every customer their best possible price it is quoted afterwards. For example, if Joe lives in North Carolina he may only pay 3.5% shipping insurance rate but Tom who lives in Oregon may pay 11%. If we made it flat rate every customer would have to pay the highest amount which is 12%. This way we can help our customers save the most money!
