A nice selection of different chocolates, and I am looking forward to trying more of those that came in a large order delivered only a few days ago, the couple I have tried so far I've been excellent. The honey crunch is delightfully and deliciously decadent, especially with a glass of cognac.

And such a great range of different and unusual flavours. We wanted more to share with friends when back home - and Maurice had them to us overnight! Amazing amazing service!
Now this is the chocolate shop to go to. It even caters for gluten free people. There is free tasting. Deals if you buy more than 1 block. Oh and the service from the lovely young girl today was fantastic.
We met Maurice and his family when we signed up to do the "meet the maker tour". Maurice was very generous with his time and answered all of our many questions. We were drawn into his magical world and enjoyed tastes of chocolate from different geographic origins and at different points of its development. There are dozens of amazing looking and delicious sounding chocolates to choose from - it was hard to know where to begin!
I am a big fan of anything honeycomb related. I thought that your honeycomb would rate one of the best going around, however, it didn't live up to expectation. I felt the honeycomb was overcooked which gave it a slightly burnt taste when you eat, as such, there wasn't a rich honey flavour. The best honeycomb I've tasted is from Beechworth Honey, in Victoria.

This is one of our biggest selling products and one that we usually get rave reviews about, so if you have had a bad experience with it I am terribly sorry.
As you can see by our other reviews below we rate very highly and as a small family business, one thing we pride ourselves on is our customer service. When something is wrong we make it right. Reaching out to us directly allows us to make sure that we give that great service so its a shame you have not contacted us directly and given us that chance to fix the issue but instead given us a one-star review. This type of review without allowing a small business to fix an issue can severely affect that business, especially in today's circumstance.
I hope you can enjoy the other 3 products your purchased from us. I have refunded the bags of Honeycomb.

The delivery time was great, however the box and items were crushed in the box, all chocolate have damaged. Didn't change the taste, but was unable to tell what the specialist chocolates in the little box were and had to be careful when opening the chocolate bars due to the damage.

I am very sorry the chocolates were damaged on arrival. Its very disappointing when this happens and obviously not what we want to hear at all.
It would be great to see how the chocolates were packaged, as we go to great lengths to ensure that they don't get damaged in transit. It is very rare for the chocolate to get damaged at all, let alone crushed.
We are a small family business, which will do anything to make it right if you come to us directly (via email or phone), including replacing products at our own cost.
We are happy to replace your product, or give a refund. Please send us a photo of the damage box so we can take this up with Australia post, as they need to know if they have failed in their delivery process and many times they will pay for damage done to postage. We can then send you a replacement.
As you see from the 100's of reviews just on this site alone we pride ourselves not only on the amazing quality of our product but also on making people happy. As a small business to receive a 3 star review for us is a fail, and this affects us in a time when things are very tough on both of us and our staff.

Having recently discovered the best chocolate I have ever tasted comes from Tasmania on a holiday, I soon realised I had not bought enough home with me. I went to the website and was very happy to see reasonable prices, great free delivery threshold and wide range. My package arrived so quickly and I was so impressed I ordered some more and had it sent to my parents as a gift. I cannot recommend Federation Artisan Chocolate enough. Delicious product and great service.

We were so lucky to experience federation on a trip to Tasmania, tasted and bought their chocolate, enjoyed the informative demonstration and gift shop. Now Im getting more shipped to my home for Christmas gifts, so easy so yummy.
I first tried this chocolate at the Salamanca Markets in Hobart while on holidays in Tasmania. I fell in love with their sugar free/gluten free range. It was such a treat to receive my parcel of chocolate goodness in the mail today!
The site was easy to navigate which made ordering the chocolates perfect. Great communication. Well packed and arrived on time. Hassle free. Will buy again. Love Federation Chocolate (especially licorice!).
We had lovely personalised service when ordered afternoon tea at the factory. Unfortunately we had limited luggage space and couldn't take chocolate home on the plane. They lovely woman suggested I order on line with free delivery over $50. Perfect opportunity for some special christmas present add ons.
They actually rang me to discuss delivery as the weather was super hot. Despite the weather delay I received everything just in time for Christmas. My family loved it.
Product was delivered fairly quickly from Tasmania and in reasonable condition (3 of the blocks had a break-but that was ok). I've enjoyed the ruby chocolate, however, I wish that there was an ingredients list on the packages including the honeycomb.
I ordered one day and it was delivered the next. I called about a product I couldn't find online - they had it and sent it along. Great service, very friendly and helpful owners and my daughter can eat all the gluten free chocolate she wants. She did say it's such a beautiful chocolate that you are satisfied with small amounts, rather than eating the whole block like you could do with other brands - even better for the waist line.
Purchased the new flavour "coffee bean milk chocolate" had a taste and it was to die for, it would only satisfy coffee lovers, licorice chocolate is another favourite, easy to purchase on line and delivery without a hitch, very happy

I tried some samples at the Salamanca market and immediately bought three bars. I am a chocolate "nut" and have tried many, many types of chocolate. This is honestly the best chocolate I have ever had. I am back in the US now and am rationing my 1/4 remaining bar to little nibbles, it is that good. I have even looked into getting it shipped here but shipping cost ($50) is prohibitive. Federation, please consider selling on Amazon--you are the best chocolate ever!

Enjoyed chocolates I have tried so far. The choc honeycomb was a good product but maybe not for someone who grew up with bee hives... I found it too sweet for my crazy palate and ratio of choc to honeycomb was not right for me. Would have preferred smaller honeycomb pieces covered in choc. Moral of the story my fault for not examine and trusting picture. So far have tried two single choc balls... yummy and walnut choc... enjoyable but more walnuts would have excited me more.
The remainder sits in my fridge waiting for indulgent moments to arise.
