We ordered the mixed box dark chocolate domes and a few blocks - we could not believe how flavoursome they were. The descriptions matched the chocolates perfectly. The service was fantastic and they arrived quickly. Definitely will be ordering again!

Federation Chocolate
Absolutely wonderful chocolates, smooth and delicious, artful and enticing. All that is good. My hesitancy comes with the packaging. Not much in the way of recycling. Less non recyclable packaging would boost the products image in my opinion. Fully compostable should not be hard to achieve, and may also mean the product cost might be lowered.

Your comment of packaging is an interesting one. We are always looking at improving our foot print on the world, im so glad that its important yo you too. Its one of the reasons why We source cacao direct from Farmers who have a real connection to their land and in most cases grow their cocoa on family farms and sustainable ways. This is where the effort of our work is really important and where great expense goes to. Paying up to 10 times more for cocoa then 95% of the rest of the world ensures our farmers, their famies and communities can thrive not just survive.
We are a small family business and do the best we can, putting our cacao farmers first. I can assure you are are always on the look out for a "more" sustainable packaging which is cost effective, is food safe, allows us to have the expected shelf life and can assist us to distribute our chocolate around the world. Its truly a balancing act in these extremely trying times.

I found Federation Chocolate on a recent trip to Port Arthur and was very impressed by the litle talk and explanation about Artisan Choc produced and packaged here. The lay also stated she would not be packing any choc for delivery via post in the heat Tasmania was currently experiencing. Thoughtful and showed integrity and care about why their choc was special. I purchased on the day. When I returned home found the web site and sent an order. No issues with the web site easy to navigate and was very well presented. I received my ordered choc. In a timely manner, with no issues. I am lucky enough to be returning to Port Arthur in late May and I will be stopping again with a new travel companion who I am sure will enjoy the talk and the produce. Thank you for allowing me to babble... but it really is beautiful chocolate.

Federation Artisan Chocolate is my favourite. I always get this chocolate for my birthday. It has a very soft and rich taste, which you will remember for a long time. I sometimes get the feeling that its taste can stay in my mouth for hours. That's very cool *-*
Usually purchase my chocolate from the shop at Taranna or Salamanca market, but this is now proving difficult, so decided to order online. Very impressed as the ordering process was easy to follow and delivery was very quick. Will now continue 'stocking up' using this process.
I ordered a gift for my parents at Easter and they thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful chocolate. The ordering process was simple and I really appreciated the personal email I got from the business owner offering further assistance for future orders. I will be buying more gifts from here in the future.
What an amazing selection of products. Great they are made in Australia and lots of attention to detail. There was something missing in my address and they didn't guess, they called me to ensure everything was correct and they also took into consideration the weather situation here to ensure the products arrived in good condition. The chocolate arrived very quickly, was well packed and though I haven't tasted it all i am very impressed with what i have tasted. Many thanks.

As a result of the COVID19 pandemic I am unable to spend time with my grandchildren. I saw an advertisement for Federation artisan chocolates and was very taken by the variety available. I decided to send my daughter and her family some delicious chocolates for Easter. The website was easy to negotiate and I received a courteous reply to a request that I made on line. The chocolate only took a couple of days to come from Tasmania to Encounter Bay in south Australia. I'm looking forward to hearing what my daughter and son-in-law have to say about the chocolates because I must admit they look delicious.
I was a little concerned about ordering from Federation Chocolate as I knew that I would be returning to the Uk long before the delivery would be made to my cousin in Melbourne. Absolutely no need to worry! A first class service from start to finish and a wonderful product to boot! Thank you Federation Chocolate.
A colleague at work had a family member who brought them some chocolates, I tried the Honeycomb and was blown away by the taste and texture.
I decided that I would buy some for my wife and ordered the honeycomb, strawberry and salted caramel.
Each block of chocolate had amazing and differing levels of taste, my wife very much approves. Of the salted caramel where there is no over the top taste of salt, more smooth tones through out.
A day after I received the delivery I received an email from Maurice and I am truly impressed with the overall customer service and quality of the chocolate sold. I received the chocolates the next day!
I will definitely be ordering more and going to see their store in person!

Made just a few days before purchase, the chocolate was truly worth the cost (which isn't cheap). The sugar free dark chocolate is beautiful and doesn't have they strong bitter aftertaste that usual dark chocolate does. It is incredibly smooth and irresistibly delicious. Moving on, the next to reach my palate was the creme brûlée fudge. Wow! This is great. You only get four bits in a packet, but that is all you need. It is delightfully rich without being overwhelming. The Turkish Delight came out next and was also very yummy! Last but not least the caramel nougat, which I couldn't stop going back for. I usually don't like sugary things, hence the sugar free dark chocolate, but this, my oh my, is the essence of my being. Thank you delicious magazine for leading me to this oasis. The great service was also an added bonus.
