The order went smoothly from the first time I contacted Fast Growing Trees by phone. Very kind and helpful staff. The only glitch was my tree was shipped earlier than expected so ai had to so some quick planning, but I got the tree planted and it is doing very well so far!
All plants (arborvitae, roses, azaleas) arrived in excellent condition and are flourishing in their pots on my patio. Unfortunately getting them in the ground is delayed until I can get my little bit of land (poorly drained clay) prepared to give them a happy home. I'm hoping that will happen soon and they will still be thriving by the time they can be planted.
As soon as I received the box... I opened it and noticed all the leaves were brown and curled up... dry. I got it in the soil within the hour and watered it. It's been a week and I haven't noticed any new sprouts/leaves yet. It's been getting plenty of rain and sun.
I'm concerned it may not have survived the trip. Will continue to monitor it.

Bought 2 trees last summer. 1 of them did not make it through winter. They credited me back the price I paid for that tree and I was able to get another.
The tree (Flame Thrower Red Bud) arrived on time, in a tall box. Ok - I thought that was weird, a tree in a box. Given how skinny it was, I named it Tooth Pick Charlie (from the movie Some Like it Hot with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon). Seriously - the broom handle I used to stake it was thicker! I was skeptical as the root ball was pretty small. There were young leaves on the branches so I said encouraging things to the tree and planted it as directed. One month later Tooth Pick Charlie is THRIVING and producing all kinds of new, beautiful leaves. So have faith!
The tree arrived carefully packaged and looking quite healthy. I planted it the day after arrival, kept it regularly watered, and it seemed to thriving. But within two weeks, the leaves turned brown and are beginning to fall off. Looks like the tree is dying.
The customer service agent (Mandy?) that assisted me was very helpful. She was patient and knowledgeable which made my purchase a breeze.

When I received the plant it looks in good condition but some leaves had tiny holes. I was observing the plant these past weeks and new nice leaves are growing but also it looks like tiny holes are still showing in other leaves.

My first shipment received was pretty much a 3ft tall stick with 1 branch left. The 2 other branches were broken. Customer service was great though, they sent another one out right away. 2nd shipment arrived, 2 branches were broken again, I guess that is their average during transit. This one had more branches so it wasn't as bad. I bought the 1 year guarantee, so we'll see as the tree grows or survives throughout the year.

I ordered several plants and honestly none of them have grown much. The quality was okay but could have been packaged better. I bought trees at my local Home Depot for less money that are doing better.
After noting that the first tree made a strange roundabout trip around the country before reaching us, we received a crispy-leafed remnant of what we had expected to be our beautiful young eucalyptus tree. So we inquired as to the expected state of affairs. Customer service promptly replied and sent a new tree. It arrived two days later in perfect condition. (First tree died. Second tree is doing great!)
I ordered a Weeping Cherry tree for my Brother-in-law and sister. It arrived damaged, the top 2 branches were broken. They contacted FastGrowing Trees and they sent a replacement immediately. Great customer service!

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
