I purchased a pink heartbreaker redbud tree and also received a free dynamite crape myrtle with a special promotion. They both arrived packaged well. Neither had any leaves or buds, however within a week of planting both trees I already have some leaves and new blooms. Very exciting.

I bought a northern red oak. It arrived quickly and was what I expected.
I ordered 16 black bamboo plants but only 8 arrived via FedEx. The ticket and email follow up from FedEx said all 16 had been delivered but only 8 had. I called Fast Growing Trees on a Sunday and told them of the problem. Fortunately there were more black bamboo left and they put 8 more out for delivery and they all arrived at my door just a few days later, much to my relief and appreciation.
I've never ordered trees online so I wasn't sure what to expect. But they were well packaged. It has been three weeks now and they seem to be doing OK. My only complaint is that one of the evergreens arrived and it was slightly brown on top so I'm hoping it doesn't die.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
