July 1st is Canada Day, and I am a Canadian Nurse working in Wsconsin. To honour Canada Day, I wanted to plant a Canadian Red Maple tree. I could not find one around here, so I went on the internet and found your compnay. I spoke with a wonderful saleswoman and ordered a red maple tree. It arrived sooner than expected, and we planted it right away. So far it is doing great. We called our tree "Canada." We are waiting for the leaves to turn red this fall. Thank You for "Canada". I ordered a 5 to 6 foot through the green giants and they were not 5 to 6 feet. They wanted me to send pictures and it sound like such a hassle to return. So I don't believe I'll be purchasing again. I had purchased previously a banana tree and wax myrtles and those were fine. But this last order I was very disappointing.
I purchased to cacti plants and one had damage. The company asked for a photo and promptly replaced the damaged product.
Planted the tree immediately and the leaves did fall off. However it did come right back and I have several opened leaves in a beautiful red color. Looks great and healthy.
With only one exception, everything we purchased from Fast Growing Trees has been very much to our satisfaction. The one tree we received in poor shape, was apparently handled poorly by the shipper.

Size and condition of trees were not what I expected. Broken branches and severely shocked. I shared photos to Fast growing trees.com and they said it was "normal" and gave me a small credit. One of the trees is not recovering and will clearly die. Unsure the recourse yet. This is the risk of buying on line.

Being that we are plant people, we always like to ask our customers to give the plants a chance and not to give up on them too early. Please do not worry, we have your plant covered 100%. I spent $200 on a tree I had been looking for locally for a long time.
It came with the base being brown and the needles falling off. We were going through a heatwave so I didn't think much of it. Going through a medical issue and my green thumb neighbor suggested after 2 initial days of inside care to pot it on my deck so that I was able to take care of it. (Was semi mobile. Didn't expect to be in this situation when I ordered tree)
Tree got worse and I called in for help. I was told I would be contacted & to send a photo. (I was a few days after the month guarantee.) I was looking for help that's all. Nothing. Sent in another msg and updated photo through "contact". Nothing.

First tree died shortly after receiving. The process to have it replaced was laborious and frustrating. However, they eventually sent a replacement and it is doing fine. I do have a nice tree but the replacement shipping almost doubled the amount I have in the living tree. Read the fine print!
My overall buying experience was great. The tree is a little smaller than we imagined, but hope it grows as fast as advertised. The top came bent. We're hopeful it will straighten.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
