I have ordered twice from them I should have not order second time i order mongo tree For $79.00 on 6/14/2017 send me Cull trees Do buy from Fast-growing-trees you will get ripoff send you cull plants
I bought two trees. One tree is growing, the other is completely leaveless stick. I have contact company several different means, email, phone, facebook and their website to no avail. I have sent them pictures of the two trees. NO response what so ever. The guarantee is nothing but words.
While the quality of the plants I got from this site are (barely) passable, the quality of their customer service is truly terrible. It's all automated, and the owners and employees of this site are trying way too hard to avoid contact with their actual customers.
This is exactly what makes me hate a company.
Ordered 3 italian cypress trees under $20 each, 3 evergreen shrubs, and 2 winterberry holly. They arrived fine. I think the italian cypress are doing okay, the small shrubs are too small for its price! I could get them for the same size for twice the size and bigger. The winterberry holly - arrived as sticks! No leaves. Nothing. 2 months in - so far nothiing is happening to it. I think it might be a goner. Just don't bother. My first and last time ordering a tree online. Not even bothering w them since its just a waste of my time. Not even worth it. Just took it as a lesson learned.
I ordered 2 sets of 10 trees. Turns out I was shipped one set of 10 trees with 2 trees (20%) broken ( not shipping damage) and one brown dying. The other one tree should have been 10 for $149.00 and I got 1 for 149.00, larger of course.
Customer service stunk with no intent to help just kept telling me what they could not do, rather than here let's fix the problem. Shop elsewhere. Poor material and service.
Well it has been a year since I received my $125 Newport Flowering Plum "stick". Needless to say it is still a stick although surprisingly it did flower this spring and does have some leaves on it but it did not grow one inch last year. So much for their claim of "fast growing". I am going to give it another year and if it doesn't grow this year then out it comes next year and I will purchase a tree locally. I wanted this tree because of the purple leaves and pink flowers but little or no fruit. I guess you can't have everything. I tried to upload a photo of this pathetic little stick but this site won't let me so you will have to use your imagination at to what my stick looks like. Unfortunately Fast Growing Trees only allow good reviews on their website.
Year 2: Ok this tree did flower and actually put on one little plum, which is fine as I didn't want a tree that put on a lot of fruit. The tree has maybe grown about 6 or 8 inches and is now starting to put out other branches on the lower part of the trunk which I hope over time will balance it out. I am going to give it another year and see what it does next year but it is still a stick that has a trunk that is about 1 or 2 inches in diameter and lopsided. We were really hoping it would straighten out but I really don't think that is going to happen anytime soon. I did find this tree locally for a third of the price that actually looks like a tree and not a stick and am contemplating putting one of those in next year on the other side of the yard. Then if this one doesn't make it I will still have one. I was able to upload a photo of the tree as it looks now but the photo is sideways and I can't turn it so sorry about that.
Year 3: Well I gave the "stick" a third year with no growth. Before I ordered the tree from Fast Growing Trees I did check locally to see if anyone had one and no one did. This year I went shopping locally again and found a Newport Flowering Plum that was about 10 ft tall and looked like a tree so I purchased it. Interestingly enough I didn't pay that much more for it than I paid for the "stick" from Fast Growing Trees. I paid to have the landscape company come out and plant it which gave me a 2 year guarantee. When the guy came out he asked if we wanted to try to salvage the "twig" he was replacing and put it somewhere else. I told him no as we had already given it 3 years and it hadn't done anything so he took the pathetic little thing away. Lesson learned, there are just some things that are better purchased locally.
We ordered what was claimed to be a nice-sized North Star Cherry tree in a "Drop'N'Gro" bag with dirt surrounding the roots. Instead we received a bare root plant with a few 2 to 3 inch long thread-sized roots and a few short thin vertical growths from the root structure, a couple of which were already dead and the others of which were partially dead and had only a few tiny leaves, which, despite watering religiously all summer, all shriveled up and died along with the branches. The warranty, which we paid for (unlike free on other quality sites), is only good for a store credit.
I ordered 3 sugar apple trees. The trees arrived with damaged branches and the packaging was the worse ever. Very little thought put into it to say the least. Like they didn't even care after they took your money and run. Stay away from this business.
This place has the biggest scam going. I received a shipment of some "tree weeds" all broken. I send them pictures of the trees the sent new ones. The second came damaged again called right away and talked to "Elvis" who walked me through downloading the new pictures. A week later I never heard from them they told me they never received picture even when elvis told me he got them and they are not replacing a 3rd time. This place is the biggest scam. It's not my fault they don't pack their weeds right. Also I was supposed to get 3 foot trees it was a root ball with a stick growing out of it. I'm telling you as a professional landscaper DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM PLACE. TOLD ME THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THEM and welcomed a bad review because she don't care. I even offered to send pictures that they all died and they said not good enough. They were all dead in 2 weeks. They also said they arived dead looking because they didn't see sun for 2 days. I'm arguing the charge with my credit card. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
Ordered $409.00 work of plants; packaging was great, plants horrible - 3 Tri Colored Willows at $50,00 each all dying within one month; tops were all brown I have to keep cutting back, purchased 3 Lavender Plants 3" inches tall at $49.99; the kicker - I purchased the one year warrantee at $40.00 - emailed, wrote, called company; sent photos - "A credit will be posted to your account for just a small portion of $34.00" because you're in the 30 day period. No mention regarding Tri Colored Willows at $50.00. Write to Consumer Affairs and the Governor's office in South Carolina Honorable Nikki R. Haley, I'm doing that today along with Better business bureau and Consumer Affairs SC
Don't, and I repeat, don't ever buy a tree from this company. Received a "tree" from this company as a gift. What I received was a 6 ft. Pole which had 1 twig on it and 5 leaves. Called the company once and they said it was dormant and this was normal. Save your money and go to Lowes, Home Depot or your local nursery and spend $70.00 on something that actually "looks" like a tree. I don't know how they can get buy with selling merchandise like this. Don't be fooled buy the pictures on their website. Total waste of money.
I purchased 2 avocado tree's from this establishment on their recommendation for pollination purposes with a warranty which a little more expensive, but they promised a year warranty no questions.
Now before a year has passed one avocado the haas tree died. I called they did not honor the warranty and said that if I paid more money for there "extended warranty" i would be covered. These people are crooks. I would consider a class action suit against them.
Bought a Crape Myrtle at 50% off which was still expensive. It arrived quickly and was as good as Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree; a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favor and buy a plant you can see at a local retailer. Stay away from these people. When you buy something sight unseen you have to trust the seller... these people don't deserve your trust.
This company is full of false promises! I bought a Royal Empress tree that is supposedly the fastest growing tree around but after many months it barely has a few leaves sprouted. I paid way too much for this twig! Next time I'll go to Lowe's and but something beautiful instead! I've called them twice but they keep avoiding a refund and continue giving me false promises. Their prices are 10x more expensive than a local nursery and their plants 10x worse.
I wrote a bad review for this company. One major gripe, paying extra for a guarantee and then just getting a credit for their site, which would involve new shipping fees. Still unhappy about that but must say that the plants that I bought or replaced are now doing very well. A rose tree in particular, though not exactly 'ever blooming' is growing beautifully. So... in the interest of fairness, some extra stars.
I wished I had read all the reviews before I ordered from them. Apparently they differ from all the local nurseries about a one year warranty on their products. I called customer service about the frost free gardenia that did not seem to grow at all and was told about their 45 days warranty. Their prices are definitely higher and customer service is less than adequate. They basically told me that their warranty is actually better than other on line competitors. I spent almost $200.00 and would have such a better time spending that on any of the local nurseries. A lesson learnt-- don't buy from them.
Ordered two Autumn Blaze Maples in the fall. They sent me two different species, but I couldn't tell until the spring when there were new leaves on the tree. At that time, they did not have trees in my size anymore and had to send two new little trees. One did not survive a year and they will not stand behind their warranty. Would not do business again.
My experience was exactly the same as Bobby H's. I ordered the Empress tree as a memorial to be planted when my brother in law lost his father. I was appalled at what they received. Same big box, same tiny little sapling--if you could even call it that. What a waste of money. I was embarrassed by the horrible thing and will never use this place again. I too paid $30 --- way over priced for what was sent. Stay away! May 2014
I ordered 2 apple trees last Fall for over $100.
One didn't look too alive, but I planted both
Anyway and watered them. This Spring I
Saw that the bark of both trees had been
Devastated by rabbits. One may survive,
But the other is dead. I subsequently
Found out that nurseries sell fruit trees with
Protective shields for this reason. A company
That sells just trees should be well aware of that and provide
This inexpensive protection, or at least inform consumers
That this is an issue that frequently arises
So they can take their own precautions.
I ordered two orange trees December 22,2013 and they said the trees would arrive 5-7 business days; they were never delivered and today is February 7. I called two weeks after the initial order was placed to give them the benefit of the doubt, because of the harsh weather conditions in the east coast this winter. They said. "Oh... Mr. Anonymous the address was put into our database incorrectly so we apologize and you should receive your trees in about 4 days. Again, we waited and nothing! I called again and the customer service representative said she would check the status and call me back in 20 minutes and guess what? To my dismay they never returned my call advising me of the status. What did I do? I intentionally waited until today, February 7,2014 and demanded that my $90 be returned to my credit card. It's been two months and I have gone through a horrific whirlpool with this company. As I am also a business owner here in Los Angeles... I do not conduct business like fast growing trees does. Wow! I do not recommend that company to anyone. Stay with Lowes or Home Depot to buy your trees. Just horrible, horrible, horrible.

Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
