I had an issue with my trees and customer service took care of it immediately. Unfortunately the trees did not survive, but I believe that was my inexperience to moving from Tennessee to New Mexico.
We ordered our 2 trees for our front yard. We spent a long time picking ones we will look at daily. After ordering it took about 2 weeks to get the trees. They shipped well attached in the box. There was only one leaf affected by transit. We planted the same day of arrival. Good directions for care. They look great and are thriving.
I obtained 10 1-quart Dappled Willow shoots at a good sale price. They arrived in good time, in very good condition. I planted them and they all did well, except for one. It was healthy enough, but a runt. After some contacts with customer service, I was sent a replacement for a nominal shipping fee. All these transactions were handled in a most satisfactory way. But unfortunately, I live in OR and this state has strict restrictions about importing plants from outside the state, so I cannot obtain fruit trees I would like. That is the only reason I cannot give a 5-star rating and it is not Fast-Growing-Trees fault.
I ordered a flamethrower redbud. I received the first tree last fall and immediately planted it. It was small and the roots were in a medium that fell apart when I planted it. It died over the winter (even though other trees I bought locally did fine. In the spring I requested a replacement and they sent one, and I planted it the same day it arrived, but it was so thin (1/4") and in shock when it arrived, it too died shortly after a few weeks. I gave up on the flamethrower and requested a refund, but they said they would only give a credit for more plants. I accepted that and ordered a Japanese maple. That arrived and it too was pencil thin and in spite of TLC has died.
Most of the experience was ok except the reason that counts. Not sure if plant will survive. Hasn't grown at all and not looking real healthy. It has been a hot, humid and wet spring/summer.
I ordered multiple plants this season and all of them arrived dead or sick. I had to get multiple replacements.
Order and payed for plant, waiting over a month only to be told I got cancelled and wouldn't receive it because of nature, and they wanted to hold my money even longer wanting me wait more months, I felt used just like what they did with my money
The "4 in 1" or "5 in 1" grafted trees are horrible. The branches are so disproportionate it is discussing! The website will not let me load pics from mobile, i bought 14 grafted trees. Displeased with all of them! Do not buy grafted trees from this place! The ungrafted trees and shubs/bushes, however are amazing and thriving! Buy those!
I spent a lot of money for 8 butterfly plants that are diseased and dying. I was sent four replacements and they arrived with dead branches and leaves. I read customer satisfaction but this has not been honored. I feel like I should get my money refunded!
ALL the trees were NOT what I paid for, shorter than I ordered, dead five days after I received them, some ruined in shipping, broken in half, see FedEx pictures they took.
The boxes were too thin and did not hold up to shipping. The plants were damaged. After several communications we were finally refunded.
It was miraculous! They arrived with almost no leaves and now they are in constant bloom and have grown thicker. We have one from last year that has taken over one end of the terrace. TRULY MIRACULOUS!
I bought a mango tree that died in three weeks. I called to have a replacement but they were out so they sent me a credit. I purchased an olive tree instead and this thing is hideous. It looks nothing like the full and beautiful one represented on the website. This tree is basically one big vine that needs support to even stay up. I am so disappointed and done with this company.
Planted 20 about 1 month ago and time will tell if they can make it through the winter.
I ordered a bundle of 10 Thuja Green Giant trees- buy 5, get 5 free.@$360. Delivery was free. When the trees arrived, 6 of the 10 were very very thin at the base of the tree and had to have bamboo sticks attached to keep them upright. As a result, about 3 weeks after planting, applying the mulch and new soil and following all of the instructions, 2 died, then one more, then two more. 5 of the 6 sickly trees died. Today, it looks as though at least 2 more of the first 10 will also die. I emailed and took pictures of the dying trees. The first response was to send me two replacement trees. When they arrived, I was amazed at how healthy and sturdy they were. The replacement trees were almost twice as thick at the base as the first batch of 10. When the third tree was dying, I sent an email and the response was that it was probably just "browning" because it couldn't hold the moisture. The person said that it was lack of water. That excuse didn't hold water. Pun intended. Allegheny county had the wettest early summer on record and it had rained extensively for the first month of planting. Then two more died, and unlike the first replacements I was forced to pay for shipping. Now my cost for the trees was nearly $400. Now the trees were $40 a piece for the 10 purchased and about $10 more than what I could have bought at my neighborhood HOME DEPOT nursery. I complained in an email about the quality of the trees in the first shipment and someone named "Queenie" answered- "While we strive to maintain consistent quality, some variations can occur, especially with promotional bundles. The replacement trees you received being thicker is part of our effort to ensure you have a satisfactory experience and receive plants that meet our quality standards." I read through the lines in Queenie's response and realized she was validating that the bundled trees were promotional in nature and less desireable... BAD BUSINESS practice and in my opinion, it was a bate and switch. I won't be buying any more products from FAST GROWING TREES.
Trees arrived and looked healthy after about a month both trees have lost all their leaves and look dead
Received two fruits plants and they came with a disease and was told that this happens often. Told me I had to buy the necessary chemicals to treat it. Would not refund money despite them confirming that the two plants did indeed arrive with a disease
We were leaving to be out of town for 2 weeks and the one tree I ordered as a first time customer arrived. I had asked that they delay delivery until we returned.
The descriptions of what you are ordering is spot on. The website is full of descriptions on what will grow in your area and how to take care of your plant.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
