The arborvitae's that arrived were not in very good shape. Not sure if it was the long haul in cardboard boxes or just not the best plants to start with but they are not looking very good. They have been watered frequently and were planted the same day they arrived. Many branches and tips were broken when I unboxed them and they just don't have a good green look like they should. Overall 3/5 stars is being very nice as they are close to being 2/5. Pretty bummed about the whole situation after spending over $1000 on trees and arborvitae's.
The tree I bought died. They honored the free replacement, but the replacement had a 3-month lead time, and no one told me that. I bought a blackberry bush, and it also had a 2-month lead time that no one told me about. I requested a refund and was refunded only the bush. Not the original tree purchase. I was super excited to start my fruit tree collection with Fast Growing Trees but will be shopping else ware now.
Bought my wife a mature Key Lime tree for her birthday. Not my first purchase, have had good experiences in the past and got really good advice online. When the tree arrived about a month ago it was showing signs of shock. I transplanted it and followed directions for soil, light, heat, and water carefully. Over the past month the tree experienced significant leaf drop. By the time I gave it to my wife it looked like a "Charlie Brown" tree. A little disappointing. I have been slowly trying to nurse it back to health. It shows signs of life but still looks awful. Sorry, just an honest review.
Ordered 4 hydrangeas….2 died and 2 survived….They did replace the 2 that died but the shipping was like $150. A little on the high end as were the plants just in general.Communication with their plant experts was pretty good over email and calls.
Ordered a citrus plant in December 2024 with expected arrival date of mid March 2025. Received email in early February 2025 stating weather conditions would delay order until March 26th 2025. Reached out at beginning of April 2025 after the delivery date had past and there were no updates either emailed to me or on my order page on the website and was informed the my estimated delivery date would be April 28th 2025. I understand that plants grow at their own pace, but I would like to at least be informed when my order is delayed by over a month. Still waiting.
Your website was easy to work! I got my order fast! The plants are beautiful - My only issue is - I wish I have alot more money to buy alot more of your plants - you have an amazing inventory! Thank you
I made my purchase early February. I was supposed to receive my lemon tree mid march. My order never shipped. Mid march I reached out to customer service, since I had not heard anything. After 3 days customer service reached back out and told me my order was delayed. I received another message last week notifying me that my purchase was delayed. Wondering now if my purchase was legitimate or if I was scammed. Uncertain as to why it would take almost 3 months for a fruit tree to be shipped to me?
Ordered two PawPaw tees a few weeks apart. The first one arrived fine. The second one arrived with the trunk snapped in several places.
There was nothing in the box to keep it from sliding around. Not packing, no cage, not a single thing to keep it from sliding around and breaking.
Very pleased with the condition of the plants and their size. The price was much lower than our local nurseries. The plants were shipped three days after my order. The plants arrived three days after shipment by FedEx. The plants were packaged well with minimal damage to the outsides of the shipping cartons, but that was due to FedEx's rough handling, and no fault of Fast Growing Trees. I would definitely order from them again.
I ordered 1 mini peach tree received 2 very satisfied I ordered 1pear tree and also received 2 very satisfied I also ordered 1 grape vine it don't seem to doing that good haven't gave up on it yet hope that it will come through soon
Trees arrived in awful condition due to fedex absolutely destroying the boxes. Trees were broken, even the bamboo supports were snapped in half. The rhododendrons were left on the driveway w/o any boxes due them all falling out of the crushed packages. 27 plants, every single one of them broken and damaged.
I have placed my order last January 18,2025. Its already the 8th or February and I have not receive the soursop tree yet or an update regarding my purchase. Can you please advise or provide me a tracking number on where my tree is?
I ordered a Meyer Lemon Tree and Lemon-Lime CitrusTree. The Meyer Lemon tree arrived with small buds on it and now after less than a month it is covered in blooms which are opening! Beautiful and smell nice. The lemon-lime tree is smaller but looks healthy.
The problem was with the shipper. Two shipments damaged The second one with three burning bushes was deemed undeliverable. But was promptly replaced with healthy bushes. So far very pleased with the plants
For the most part, I have had excellent experiences with Fast Growing Trees. I have learned, however, not to order during the summer season because travel in a hot delivery truck doesn't bode well for some plants.
The plants/trees I have purchased previously from Fast Growing Trees are flourishing. I am quite pleased with the quality.
I received my rosemary quickly, and in great condition. I would definitely order from Fast Growing Trees again. The only suggestion or hope I would have for future orders is the use of less cardboard. The borax was far taller than it needed to be, which felt like a lot of waste.
Ordering was easy and the product delivered was outstanding. Delivery however is taking a bit with part of my order. I am still waiting on 2 trees that the website said should have been delivered by now when I ordered. They are in the perpetual preparation mode.
I bought both, I thought that packaging was weird, due to the tree and bush being shipped sideways. So a lot of dirt came out of the pots. I feel that they should have been boxed separately so they could've been upright.
We live between two ridgelines that create a rainshadow from both the east and west. Late summer drought can kill young trees in this neighborhood of NE Tennessee. Deer pressure is also intense. I grow cherries and peaches. Fast growing trees are the ONLY product I've been able to grow here. In two years, the trunks are as thick as a 6yr old tree from ANY other supplier. I use guards now but a big buck can't strip enough bark to kill my 2yr old trees. I had some bear damage on one tree. Healed up quick and strong without disease.
I tried to claim my warranty for two of the citrus trees and they ask $83 just for shipping it's the most ridiculous thing to ask for. No one will want trees to die and believe me it wasn't because of me as the temperatures dropped quickly and the trees died. It's not that hard to find another nursery that will take care of the customers. They know that when you take a plant from a green house, sell it and the customer will plant it and the temperature drops, the tree will die quickly as the tree its fragile.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
