I bought a pair of shoes that were defective from day one. They told me that it would take "a few months" (!) to do a "brand assessment" (!?) and that they could give me a 5% discount. Five percent. If there is something wrong with your order, you are out of luck and out of your money.
A week ago, I placed an order for a pair of Alexander Wang shoes $475. The item was being advertised as "IN STOCK" and my credit card was charged immediately. Almost a week after, I received an email saying sorry out of stock. Now I am being told it will take another "few days" for the money to be refunded to my credit card. Obviously the company is holding my money for their own use. They sure didn't waste any time charging me, but can't seem to process the refund in the same manner. I won't trust them again. If I don't get a refund soon, I'll report them to Amex as theft. Just look at all the bad reviews!

Stay away from this company otherwise you will waste your money, Their stuff is tremendously expensive and their return policy is only 2 weeks. They are not customer friendly and do not agree to any exceptions. Most likely you will not get your money back. Do not waste your time and money.

I ordered an item, got the cookie cutter/template email confirmation saying that within 48 hours, I'd get an email confirmation from the merchant with updates. Never got that second email. A week goes by. No email. No product. They had charged my credit card and so I call Farfetch and they told me sorry product sold out. So I asked if sold out - why did they charge my credit card? Now I've got random fraudulent charges on that credit card. Maybe Farfetch didn't scam me but surely they are doing a lousy job with the sellers they are allowing on their site. Stay away - no deal is worth the headaches and frustration of fraud and scam!

I am a HUGE online shopper and I have to say, while I loved the concept of Farfetch, they have a LOT of tweaking to do to enhance their customer experience and support. I have never had such a negative experience with an online retailer. Basically everything that could go wrong went wrong. Here is my experience in a nutshell on my past 2 orders (for 4 items in total):
1- They cancelled 1 order due to a price error listed on the website. I don't understand how that is my problem as they should honor the pricing listed but regardless, they offered me a 20% discount code on my next order so I was somewhat satisfied.
2- Used (or tried to use) my 20% discount code but it was invalid. Asked for a new one and they provided it but changed the terms of the code excluding more than 10 brands and all sale items (all of which were included in the old code).
So now I'm thinking these people are shady...
3 - Used my code to buy sunglasses only to have my order cancelled AGAIN 2 weeks later apparently due to a lost shipment on their side.
4 - My 3rd item was returned over 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for a refund. I called to find out what was going on and the impression I got is they are very unorganized and have no idea whats going on. Which at this point, I've lost all confidence in Farfetch and I'm worried I will never receive my refund.
5 - My 4th item was delivered without any issue.
So basically of the 4 items I ordered, only 1 had no issues. That is a 25% success rate. Not a way to run a business.

I ordered an expensive dress (in the US). I was a little nervous having never used Farfetch before. They were as sweet as could be on the phone. Dress came in 2 days, perfect condition, from the manufacturer. I did not end up keeping it but the return was very fast and my money was credited in 2 days. So much better than any of the department stores I've dealt with, it was a real pleasure. I would use them again anytime. Really great.

I ordered a pair of boots from farfetch.com last Friday. I received them the following Thursday, that's less than a week and they were shipped from Italy. The price was $127.00 less than amazon. They were well packed. I couldn't ask for any better service. I have no idea what these bad reviews are about.

I spent $400 on a top which did not even fit properly. I asked for a refund, they sent their DHL courier to collect it and I never got my refund or reply why! Once I made contact with them via email, they claimed the top was not in its original condition and sent me photos of damages which they claimed I made on the top. I emailed them to say these were made upon them receiving the top and never heard from them again. I am in the process of hiring a legal representative to get my $400 back! DO NOT USE OR BUY FROM FARFETCH! It is a SCAM.
I usually do not write bad reviews but this company is the worst one to deal with. My 1400 purchase was decline first time and they blamed my bank which has nothing to do with it(I guess thie system is so outdated and inconsistent that they are unable to process basic transactions. When called why my order was cancelled they blamed my bank, my card and everything in this world except them.(not saying that the guy promised me that somebody will call me back- and obviously nobody did, so I had to call myself second time. When kinda resolved the issue with the card, I am placing the same order and voila,-it has been cancelled again. When called the second time now LISTEN the answer was: I have supposedly called them and have cancelled the order which I NEVER DID! Anyways, this was my first and last experience with this horrid company and their service. NEVER AGAIN! STAY AWAY

Farfetch has the worst customer service ever. If your new shoes are too big for you, and you need to complete a return, It is never going to happen actually, because, Farfetch workers are careless about your problem, and will do everything for your return never being complete.

I always buy my luxury clothing from here. The import and duties are included, so I don't need to worry about paying anything extra once I receive the product. Love my new dress!
Ordered Chinti and parker sweater... hood tore off as was putting it on for the first time. Cannot get anyone to return calls, emails to rectify the situation. They keep putting me off saying they need to "reach out" to their partner. The absolute worst service ever. It's been over a week now and still nothing. Will NEVER order with this company again
I ordered a pair of jeans on this website because it looked legit and the price was lower than other websites I've looked at. They sent me the correct size and brand of jeans but they were the wrong color and material. I spoke on the phone with customer service and they informed me that they would see what they could do about making an exchange or refunding me for my purchase. I'm currently in the middle of returning the jeans. It's upsetting when you order a very specific item and get a product that isn't what you ordered. I would advise Farfetch to examine the boutiques that they work with more carefully so these kind of errors don't continue to happen. I don't think I will ever shop with them again if I can't even trust them to send me the correct product. At this point I would atleast expect them to send me the actual product that I ordered and give me a greater discount but they haven't offered to do anything of the sort. I hope this review gives help to other customers who are thinking of buying from Farfetch just because prices are lower, and hope that Farfetch fixes these large problems so they can maintain customers.
I bought a pair of Lanvin shoes (UK 7 as website showed) but received a pair of size 8.
Either inside the shoes or outside the box showed size 8. (not specifying UK or US, just saying TAILLE Size 8)
I contact Farfetch customer and being instructed to start return process so that they would send me the correct size of shoes or full refund if they are no longer available.
In a couple of days, I received an email saying that I ordered UK 7 which is US 8 and Farfetch vendor sent the correct size.
From my previous experiences purchasing European brand shoes, the size either mark UK (7) or EU size (41) and they would never use ONLY US size.
Hence, my reasonable doubt is that either Farfetch might have been selling counterfeit products or they just made some excuses and would not even bother to admit that they sent the wrong size while sending me with the correct size (there are still size available).
In short, my first experience with Farfetch is terrible ( Mr. Porter or SSENSE or even ASOS is a lot better) and wonder if Farfetch product is authentic or not.
Wouldn't make another attempt with this website.
I bought a pair of church's shoes. It damaged and the 2 shoe bags missing, conspicuous crease to the trunk of the shoe, and laced. The bottom show signed that it has been used too. I returned. Then another pair of monk shoes, the metal buckle is broken and with crease too. And I return with their specified courier, returns in transit for so many days. And I am worried. Selling worn shoes at brand new price. Damn it.

I buy shoes from Moncler for around 400 euro but they have some defect so I get in contact with Farfetch and they tell me that after 2 month of use is absolutely normal!? I use it only twice! If I could give Farfetch zero stars I would.
I purchased a Moncler coat from them at a cost of a thousand pounds which I had previously set up an email alert for, and also rang them many times.
When the coat arrived, it was taken (by UPS) to a random shop miles away from my home, and the card that was put through the door didn't have the correct address on. It took me another week to track down where the coat actually was.
When I opened it, I was horrified to discover that the Moncler belt was scratched and damaged, and truly looked as though it had been warn. The protective plastic covering was gone and it really resembled a second hand coat.
I contacted Farfetch, who took four days to reply to me, offering their apologies and... a free delivery code for my next purchase. I replied telling them whilst that was very kind (!), I would prefer a refund of my postage for what appeared to be a second hand, and was definitely a damaged, item. They obliged.
I returned the coat and within two days, it was back up for sale on their website. BUT. I still didn't have my refund.
I contacted them explaining that they are basically selling my coat - they still have my money for it, yet they're advertising it for sale?
I was told it isn't necessarily the same one, even though when I purchased it, I was told it was the last one in the system and they weren't getting any more in and that my refund would be processed in 14 WORKING DAYS.
I know some people have had a very positive experience with Farfetch, but personally, they have brought me nothing other than stress and hassle for what appeared to be a second hand coat. A coat they are now selling once again as brand new and undamaged, at full cost.
I wouldn't buy another thing from them.
Answer: In my experience, as far as genuine items go, yes. My recommendation to you is, research the store you're buying from, because your experience can be 0 or 5 stars depending who you're buying from. I bought a new Valentino bag and received an used one from a store called Gente Roma. Farfetch did nothing other than contact the store and politely reply back to me that there was nothing they could do about it! They made the sale, they're making money off me, off course they should have done something. Nope. I could return the bag, which was an option regardless. Gente Roma was so disonest about the condition of the bag, I was afraid they would blame me for sending back a used bag and only give me a patial refund. I felt my safest option was to keep the bag. On the other hand, when I bought a pair of Valentino shoes from Exelsior Milano my experience was flawless. From the fast shipping, to the packaging to shoes that had never been opened. Moral to the story: if Farfetch doesn't have to get involved, you're golden. If not, don't bother with them. Call the Pope or your credit card and dispute your charges instead. You'll have a better chance of getting something.
Answer: Maybe there is a 24 hour time frame to cancel your order after you made it but if that 24 hours frame has passed I'd try calling them. Their customer service can be helpful
