Defective product
March 13, 2021

I purchased an adapter for my laptop and it blew up my laptop. They have NO phone number to contact and can only contact them by email which they don't respond to at all. My lawyer has been trying to contact them as well which again has received nothing back. How do you own a business without a phone number and not respond back to emails?!?! Do NOT buy anything from this company!

Back in 2013-14 my ex had bought me a virtual gift card for 5 grand. I've been slowly spending the money, when the site changed all of my money was gone.( I had over over 4g left) I reached out and went back and forth on emails and was just told that my purchase was not valid and they wanted the receipt. But remember this was a gift, I have the original gift card number which I provided then they wanted credit card etc. I am not with that person anymore but I find this very unfair that they just took all that money back even tho I provided the original gift card number. Horrible customer service, very unfortunate since this used to be my favorite site

I wish I would have read these reviews beforehand, because it is all true! I ordered a nice, leather laptop bag for my husband, but received a cheap looking, fake leather bag that was clearly not the same bag as the online pictures. Naturally, we decided to return it and I have received no money back and cannot get ahold of anyone. Mind you, when I wanted to return the bag someone was more than happy to help me emailing multiple times. Now that I sent it there is silence and they have no phone number so there is no way to actually get ahold of them. I wish I could give this company a zero star review!

No product received!

I placed an order in January and in February made an inquiry. Still no progress. Received an email with a shipping number. Still no product or any returned emails. I have asked for money back and was told I could get a 3% refund when I receive product. Now its April and still nothing. ******************DO NOT USE***********************

Poor communication
March 7, 2022

I made a purchase on 1/2/22 and still have not received my order. I have sent several emails, but they give the same excuse and continue to say give it a little longer. I have requested a full refund, but I as of 3/7/22 I have not received my shipment or refund. I would not order from this company again.

Ordered wreathes and what came was not worth the money. This is a scam. If I had know it was coming from China I would not have ordered as what I got was cheap an each time I touched it pieces broke off. What is pictured is not what you get

FRAUD!
November 22, 2021

This review is for Fancsy Shop! Do not purchase anything from these people! I ordered Thomas Kincaid Christmas table tops and received stickers that had the likeness of the table top, not the musical table top I ordered! I ordered wreaths that were large and beautiful in original pictures and were tiny and had little greenery on them. They did not even look like the pictures! Instead of being 36 in they were 12 and 19 inches wide. Requested refund on all 3 orders and all they would agree to so far is 30% refund! Got to be kidding me!
They are scamming people! Don't order from them!

This restaurant staff went above and beyond, my mother was palliative in the hospital. They wrote inspiring words on all of the boxes. The order was lost with skip the dishes and the staff was heartbroken... they offered to prepare another order free of cost however in the intrim the package arrived at rvh... thank you fancy's

First order great, second not so much.

I have ordered a self heating coffee mug from fancy before and received the product, it worked great and then the heating coaster stopped working. So I contacted Fancy via email and the vendor sent out 2 new heating coasters and wire chargers that was great service back then. But now not so much!

I have 20 dollars left from a gift card I used for the self heating coffee mug but now I can't use it at all. I emailed customer service and no one has responded back to me about it. And my account says it can't process my payment at this time. It's been saying that for a couple of weeks not and still no help from anyone. They lack customer service and there is no response when you email them so, I'm going to take that gift card as a loss and not do business with them anymore. They are lucky I gave them 2 stars, because they did help in the past.

Note to vendors: Beware you may want to seek your third party fulfillment elsewhere. If customers can't reach you through this platform just to do simple things like ask a question, or get help with their accounts from this retailer, then it's not worth doing business here.

Note to fancy: I rather shop at Zulily.com they have real people answer their customer service calls and very helpful staff. They do the same thing you guys do by fulfilling vendor orders, but they do it way better. You might want to grasp that concept before you create an online retail business. Take a business course for customer service. You guys need serious help with that.

Love browsing Fancy!

Love browsing Fancy! The majority of the products are fairly unique and I love window shopping!
However, I've added many things to my cart, but later remove them when I see how much shipping costs. It's crazy! Shipping is considerably more expensive than other online retailers. It also changes drastically depending on the merchant the product is from. That whole side of the business just doesn't seem well run.
The few things I have purchased come in a reasonable time, and in good shape. Haven't had any problems there.
Love browsing and adding things to lists, hate actually buying anything.

Scam. Fraud. Thieves.

I ordered a chair on fancy a few weeks ago, a nice one, about 250 dollars. I woke up to Shazam alerts and call on my phone from fraud protection alerting me to charges being made in Taipei, Taiwan with encrypted coding. AKA They were attempting to mask their multiple withdrawals in the amount of $53.27 in Taiwan. I cant believe this crap is still out there.

Our experience with Fancy mirrors that of all the other merchants who've left reviews below. They are aggressive with their outreach to sell marketing packages. They send emails and pitch decks riddled with grammar and spelling mistakes. When ANYTHING goes wrong they stop replying to your emails entirely. Reps come and go from the company and dont last more than a few months.

Shady business practices all around.

0 Stars! I actually got the product I ordered and very quickly. BUT it was a tee shirt and the picture was printed on the tee shirt crooked. Not even close to centered either. An obvious mess up. Sure I can return the item but for Fancy.com credit!? No thank you. Wish I would have read reviews first. Don't make my mistake!

I ordered an item meant to be a Christmas gift the week before Thanksgiving. After 3 weeks of the order still "processing", I emailed cs and was told they would contact the supplier. 2 days later, they email back saying the item would ship no later than the end of the following week (12-19-14). The item finally shipped on 12-22-14 and estimated delivery is 12-29-14. Now I have to find another gift to replace this one. I'll never order from Fancy again.

Placed orders, credit card charged, complied w/ request for info from their "security verification" department.

Then: No order updates/processing, no shipping confirmation x 3 weeks, fancy.com account locked without justification, orders cancelled without justification, no response from customer service.

Now: Filed dispute with AMEX.

Fancy.com is a terrible online retailer. I'm not even sure if they are illegitimate. They did not process my orders after pending for over a week and a half. They also requested I send them a copy of my credit card and photo ID over email, and then cancelled my orders with no explanation after I repeatedly contacted their support team for updates. They told me they'd respond multiple times and did not, and basically wasted two weeks of my life and ignored any reasonable request for assistance.

Huge Sales Growth!

I recently bought a brand advertising package to help grow my coffee table business. Our sales increased 110%! The sales rep and account management team were extremely supportive in answering my questions and getting me setup as a merchant. I highly recommend using Fancy as an outlet to grow your business!

This review is specifically for brands who are considering advertising on Fancy. Speaking from experience, don't do it. We paid them US$2k a month and saw no incremental benefit in sales. In fact, our sales went down.

Swindle deception

Same problem.
I bought something last month but never arrived
I emailed seller and customer service different times and haven't received any answer.
Impossible to contact them by phone.
I'm afraid they cheated me and I'll never receive the item or my money back.
What a terrible disappoinment!

They asked me to signup for marketing, and there popup show,
Where they claim, driving huge amount of traffic.
And covered by the media,
The are a full scam company, do not trust them with anything.
Never recuperate what we spend.
