On Friday July 26 2024 I placed an order on the Official Olympic Shop (run by Fanatics) that included an item listed as being "In Stock" and I completed the order, expecting that I would be receiving this item. I also received an email saying the item would be shipped to me separately on a later date from the other items I ordered.
However, last Friday on August 9 2024, I received an email saying that this item was Out of Stock and would not be sent to me. Why/how could this happen? Since the item was In Stock when I placed the order 2 weeks ago, then this item should have been reserved for me at that time when it was In Stock. The website should have only allowed the amount of this item that the company had in stock to be sold.
Why did the website not automatically put the item as being "Out of Stock" as soon as the number of items In Stock was reached? That should have happened immediately and all orders for the item that were placed while In Stock should have been Fulfilled, especially considering the fact that I placed the order 2 weeks before the Item went Out of Stock. This is highly unacceptable! I do NOT understand how a reputable, Official company like Olympic Shop could have allowed this to happen. The item was being exclusively sold by your store, so the fact that this transpired is absolute negligence.
A mere apology and a small 25% off Coupon does NOT make up for such a terrible experience happening. More substantial amount of compensation should be offered to customers like myself, who are now in this horrible situation after ordering this particular item when it was supposed to be In Stock. This is a substantial problem that never should have happened and needs to be taken much more seriously. The amount of compensation should reflect the awful circumstances which were allowed to occur.
The CS rep that helped me ( Carey) was extremely helpful and made my return a pleasure

I've purchased so many items from Fanatics over the last 10 years that I've lost count. I'm a diehard sports fan and they have such a huge selection of merchandise to choose from. I always find myself spending a lot of time deciding on what to get. I really like the sales they have quite often because I usually end up buying something.
Great products and customer service. Quality of the products is great. I had to return/replace some items because they did not fit quite right. Very easy return and replacements. Completely satisfied.
I have made so many purchases from Fanatics through the years, that I feel very comfortable in my opinion of this company.
And that opinion is that Fanatics is "outstanding" in every way as an online store. They have always provided the highest quality products at very reasonable prizes. It will always be my go to store for sports paraphernalia.
The customer service representative was very patient with her time explaining the return policy so that I could get a complete and understanding of their rules. This information was very helpful to me in my decision making.

Overall, Fanatics has been excellent. Their shipping dept. could be better; they need to learn to package collectible items much better. But customer service was great about replacing a damaged item so overall I was happy in the end.

The USPS post man delivered the jersey to the wrong house and several days later the neighbor down the street brought the package to the house. MLB processed the return before the package was found. Great service.
No matter what I've ordered in the past, the merchandise was always delivered in a timely fashion and exactly what was requested. The quality and pricing is yet another indication of Fanatics continuing commitment towards customer satisfaction.
Every garment of my team that I really love, it was found here. Wait for one of their promo and you may get it at a better price. The only issue I have is with the manufacturer direct that they don't ship outside the contiguous states.

Purchased two custom printed shirts and when arrived very disappointed at the quality.
Front designs off center, OK, can live with that. But number on reverse which is supposed to be 11, looks like it's upside down and had random squares.
Paid premium price for these, and as some else posted, get flea market quality.
Beyond awful. I paid premium for next day delivery. It took 3 weeks and 11 emails filled with bare faced lies before I eventually received me FAULTY kit.
I don't know this is possible, but they store the kits in a way which leaves them with permanent creases which don't even come out after multiple washes.
Not only these issues, but their customer services team is a disgrace. Do not shop here. Also, be careful, it's not always listed as fanatics as they plug into some teams official stores. You think you're buying from your club but you're actually buying from these rats!
Ordered a jacket that was discounted by $55. Much better price than any other sites, including Nordstrom. Got discounted next day business shipping which should have arrived Monday (ordered on a Friday) but showed up on Saturday. Very happy with selection, prices and service from Fanatics!
Ordered 2 items which did not work out. Made the egregious error of returning both items in the same box. Well, apparently Fanatics return people are not intelligent enough to figure out two items, two returns. Fanatics insists that I only returned one item and won't reimburse me for the other, claiming they didn't get it. I'll never shop here again. They're great at taking your money but horrible at giving it back.
$100 for a screen printed jersey this is complete garbage. Horrible communication. No phone number. Ordered December 10 and was just delivered what a complete disappointment. I'm a single mother. I can't believe you are even in business.

They have great items however the insulated mug I ordered arrived with a broken lid. After having to spend 5 minutes to get through their automated system, Their practice of selling items distributed by a third party vendor ruined my day. I ordered this for a birthday present two weeks in advance but Fanatics could not get the item replaced for at least another two weeks which is past the birthday date. Rep was like working with AI just repeating the same useless information over and over... put on hold three times and after 24 minutes still could not help. Worst customer service I have had in a very long time. Could not refund or return.

I do agree that the holiday will add a little extra time but I don't believe it's as bad as everyone is saying.
