The dealership we bought the car from decided an inspection was optional and the customer service from Fair lacked any sort of personality following a script with no flexibility to be human. We attempted multiple times to try and rectify our situation to no avail. That's when I decided to roll my sleeves up and get answers. It wasn't anger motivating me but mostly disappointment in a company I saw potential in. I went up the chain of command as customer service reps at the entry level needed re-training. That's when I got a call from a gentleman named Matthew Dowley a man who was a stranger but now I call a friend
A friend recommended the Fair app because we needed to lease a car for a few months and didn't want to be locked into a longer lease. Unfortunately everything about our experience has been terrible. After selecting a car and adjusting the filters to see a price
Incredible and innovative! Soon to be a fierce powerhouse in todays modern ridesharing service. Customer service is prompt and extremely helpful. Within hours I was presented with a contract ready to sign and pay from within the app. Super simple and their clear terms and conditions are to the point. 5 stars! Extremely pleased!
I just got a 2018 Chrysler 300S using the Fair app. It was very easy to use and navigate through. Buying a used car through Fair only took about an hour basically. I test drove my car at the dealer which was only 15 minutes from my house decided to get it got back on my phone and finished the process in minutes. I would recommend anyone wanting to get a car use Fair instead of going through the hassle of spending the day st a dealership.
The process to lease a car was so easy using this app! I was able to find the car I wanted within a great price range. No long paper work! No commitments! Within a couple of hours I was able to drive the car that I wanted right out of the lot! Fair provides insurance coverage as well! I'm happy that my dealer introduced me to the amazing app. I'm telling everyone I know about this! Thanks Fair!?
Filter is highly recommended for this app. Who's willing to get a car 48 miles away since this app is for people that needs a vehicle. Not very convenient. More filter options like radius on a search.
Overall customer service in the centers especially Dublin CA is excellent. If possible please make it possible the drivers chose and reserve their favorite make and model car like; Toyota/Nissan/Ford/Hyundai. I would appreciate if the app filters the rental car for uber based on their brand.
So I downloaded the app after I see the ad for it. Looks super cool. The concept is great. I start the account. I click on the Fair Uber button on the bottom to check that out. Now the app won't let me get past Uber and just go back to browsing for purchase. It also won't let me go all the way through with Fair Uber cause my number was just used to start the regular account. I'm like in a digital limbo. Please Mr App Maker
Worst company on the planet. Should be named Unfair. I purchased a vehicle through fair to drive for Uber. They are supposed to pay for registration on the vehicle. My first registration came due and I had to purchase an extension. The second one came due
I used it and tried to get on once again and now it just sends me to a Market page that's telling me that my area isn't on the market... so because my area isn't in the market I can't use the app? I'm 30 minutes away from Chicago. I can search in Chicago. That's annoying and should be changed immediately.
This is definitely a great concept and the process in theory is well thought out and the app in theory is well designed. The reasons for losing stars is that the app is buggy and customer service does not handle out the ordinary situations well. In addition when picking up a fair vehicle. There is no way to report prior damage (Scratches
The Uber driver program is in really unfair. The make you paying $500 upfront ( like you're owning the car, non refundable) and a weekly fee before getting the car. At the end the driver can end up pay more about $700 the first week. It is unfair to charge drivers about $700 for a car. To all drivers is not worthy to get a car from Fair if you're not driving it for months.
I thought Fair would be something cool to check out. I already have 2 cars but one of my leases are up at the end of the year and I wanted to get a head start on some research. I downloaded the app and put in my info. It said it wouldn't effect my credit to do a soft check
I've used Fair for three vehicles so far. A Jaguar F PACE that I absolutely loved! (Sad to see Jaguars aren't carried anymore) Fair helps me get into a nicer or a more economical vehicle. Plus I have the flexibility to change cars as my needs change for example as my next car will probably be a Tahoe to go on camping trips and so forth. With any startup there's been some internal issues that come with it but I've seen Fair push through them all especially as an early adopter. I mean what service picks up a car from you at your home sends you a rideshare service to help you pick up a car or delivers it to you home? Each time I've picked up a car
I can't say this enough their customer service is at the top of the game. They know what they doing when it comes to that. And as far as the development of the app and how is so intergrade into buying cars you gone this its a movie
Fair is the reason why I've been able to have a car in the first place. I loved the company in the beginning because they allowed people like me (who had a huge barrier to entry to own cars because of finances) to have a personal vehicle at a lower cost and commitment. I used to believe that they had a genuine interest in keeping true to this until I saw recently that they hiked start payments from what used to be $1000-$2000 on average to $3000-$5000 on average. Sure
At first the starting prices where reasonable and i was really looking forward to renting a car with the app but i guess today all the starting payments went up 300 more i don't think I'll even use the app anymore. These starting prices are not FAIR!
David is the best! I had problem with my car towed and he was able to help. He got my car back and now I can drive again. If need help with fair ask for David. He always helps me. A good professional and a good man.
I was asked to take a picture of my driver's license. Whoops! Must have been the wrong number because my license is already on file. No problem right? Just go back and use the other number. Except... there is no going back. All the app will let me do now is either upload my license or browse for cars (which sends me to their website). I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but instead of the login screen I'm right back where I was before. So now I'm stuck. And that's a problem because what if I need access to my insurance info? I got that through Fair also and since I can't log into my account I can't access that either. Not good. Please fix."
They have you to pay a deposit then they put you on a very very long wait list and keep misleading people by tell them one thing then someone els say something different. Example I heard about them and was like ok they sound good well i sign up 8 days ago and was told i should have a car 2-5 days well that never happen i been calling and get told i should her something by the next day well the next day come i reach out again to get told something different and to make thing short I'm still waiting to get in a car and it has been 8 days and still no car available. So don't think you going to get a car right away you going to miss out on working for some days and weeks so just be on the lookout
