Terrific to have such a selection to choose from. I was seeking outdoor fabric to make a new seat for a wooden sling chair. The selection at the only fabric store in the area is fairly dismal, not to mention expensive.

After I placed my order, I was called to inform me that it would be 4" under what I had ordered--this was not going to be a problem for me, but I was grateful for the call and the option to decline the order. I did not decline the order and am very very happy with the fabric and especially the customer service. Not only did they call, but then provided a small discount back to me! I will come back for my fabric needs--great prices, service and selection!

I would like to say that the service with Fabric Guru has always been excellent. Beginning with the fact that you can ACTUALLY have some answer the phone when you call with a question. The delivery is always as expected, within days as promised and so reasonable. The pictures they take of the fabrics sold are the best of anyone online. I have bought many a yard of fabric from them over the years and recommend them to my clients here in Boise, as we have few choices of where to buy from a more expansive selection. Thanks Fabric Guru and please keep on doing what you do. A huge selection of beautiful fabrics, great descriptions, excellent pictures and not to mention prices and service to match.

Every time I have ordered fabric from this site I have gotten the best service, fast delivery and a quality product. In this day and age where companies don't seem to care any longer about service, the customer or quality this company goes the extra mile to please the customer and deliver a wonderful product. I have used them to provide the fabric for the draperies for all my houses and will continue to use them in the future. I would recomend then to all. Most definately 5 stars

First, I made some drapes for a window and decided I wanted to use the same fabric to make some drapes for an adjoining room. Couldn't find the same fabric anywhere. The store where it was originally purchased went out of business. I googled the name of the fabric and found Fabric Guru. And, much to my surprise, found the exact fabric I needed. THEN, I ordered the fabric to make the drapes. Unfortunately, I only ordered enough fabric to make ONE panel. I immediately called customer service and sadly they were closed. So I did the only thing I could think of; I emailed customer service about my mistake. By the time I got up the next morning, there was an email in my mailbox saying they had cancelled the order so I could order the correct amount! It saved me a lot of time not to mention the money. Thank you, Fabric Guru!

I have been buying beautiful fabrics from Fabric Guru for over 5 years now and have been totally delighted with absolutely everything I have purchased (and we're talking thousands of dollars worth of fabrics!). The descriptions and details about the fabrics are spot on and I have never been disappointed in either the quality or the price for the fabrics I've purchased even the clearance and discounted fabrics. I ordered some fabric from this company. I was waiting for it to be delivered so finally decided to check the tracking information. The item shows that it was delivered but I don't have anything. I emailed the company out this problem and all they told me was the information that I could look up myself with the tracking info. I called customer service and had the terrible experience of speaking to Leslie. She is VERY rude and unapologetic. She was not helpful at all. It almost seemed as though she was blaming me for this problem as I was the customer. When I called her out on being rude her response was that I was rude. I used to work in customer service for many years and know that you can get a lot farther with kindness on the phone. I make it a point to put on my nice voice whenever I have to call any company. She was very childish in that aspect. I will be seeking relief through paypayl for the money that I spent on the fabric that I never received and will never order from this company again. It might be fine if your order goes perfectly, but if you need help you will have to deal with Leslie as she is the only one who answers the phone. I would recommend going with another provider.

Update: Although I did not like my original interaction with Leslie, the situation was fixed. I was sent out another piece of fabric to replace the order that got lost. I would recommend this company if you are in need of fabric, just beware if it doesn't go as planned.

I came across Fabric Guru's discount" basement " fabric while trying to figure out how to make designer looking curtains for my entire house. I had been pouting for a week after seeing fabrics I loved but couldn't afford elsewhere, so I pushed the button. One of the first fabrics I saw was one of those "you can't afford it" fabrics I had been eyeing. Only it wasn't 32.00 a yard but 3.95 a yard. (Yes you read that right.) In disbelief I read the details. "Dye smears and spots"). I ordered it anyway, hoping maybe it wouldn't be so bad. When it arrived (Only a couple of days latter), I rolled out the entire thing and couldn't find one thing wrong! Happy Dance! Later I noticed the problem: The color dots,( you know the ones on the selvedge edge, that show you what colors are used in the fabric?) Those were messed up. I thought " Seriously I got this great fabric for next to nothing because the throwaway edge is splotchy"? "Great"! I highly recommend Fabric Guru, especially the bargain basement fabric.
