There was no communication with the eyebuydirect regarding with my order. I got a confirmation but there was no email if my items were being deliver. Took over three weeks to my order. The glasses are okay, they fit okay. I just had my new prescription last month but for some reason the vision is not what I expect it to be. Blurry... I might need to go back to my eye doctor and double check his prescription.
The web page and tools to virtually try on frames worked very well and were not hard to use

I've bought several pairs of glasses this year from EyeBuyDirect for the most part it's been a good experience. There's been some misses on the product based from what I see online but I accept it as a risk of online shopping. This most recent order is different. The cat eye glasses are not the same prescription. It's really disappointing since I was very excited to get these. I have about eight pairs to compare, this is not my prescription

I loved these frames and the price! They were super cute. The only issue was my prescription given gives a slight blur far away. Which my other glasses don't give. I'm near sighted. Up close I had no issue with them.

Love my new prescription sunglasses! They were completed and shipped as promised. However, the USPS decided they needed to go on a scenic route halfway across the country and back which resulted in an almost 3 week wait after shipment for them to get here. The problem with likely exacerbated by the holiday mailing season, but still.
There are so many styles to choose from at Eye Buy Direct! I was able to buy during a fantastic sale and bought 2 pairs of glasses for less than I paid for just the lenses at my optometrist office! I received the glasses in about 1 1/2 weeks and the quality is just as good as the more expensive ones from my optometrist.
I did get the blue light blocking on one pair and I'm not too crazy about the pink tint that people can see in my glasses, but other than that I love both pairs!

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
