I ordered 2 pairs of glasses with 2 day delivery. One of the orders apparently couldn't be finished in time so instead of continuing to get the order to me whenever possible they canceled the order. I had a discount for purchasing both, so they charged me the full amount for the one pair they did ship which just seems like a sneaky way to get me to purchase the orders separately so that I would pay full price on both. After this experience and none of the customer service being helpful and even to go as far as hanging up on me because they couldn't give me answers I will never use you guys again after being a loyal customer for 3 years.
Ordering website was very user friendly. No visits necessary to order and pick up. Cost about 1/4 of the cost 3 years ago with the same features, progressive bifocals, shade transition, etc.
I purchased 2 pair of glasses, progressive and single lens. I had progressive lenses in the past that were never right. I could wear them for everyday things, but not for the computer or to read. I took them back numerous times and they kept saying "I would get used to them". Never happened. I decided to order a single lens pair, and a progressive pair from EyeBuyDirect to see if it's me, or did I have bad lenses? Oh my God! I can read and see with them, I don't have to switch to my single lens pair every time I want to read something. The single lens pair are so crisp things look like they did before my eyesight starting going bad. I absolutely love BOTH pair! These are hands down the best glasses I've ever owned. I will be purchasing all my glasses from them from here on out.
I've been trying to get help to order my glasses because it won't let me add my prescription. I've cald customer service and they said they don't help with that, figure it out. So I'm in a stuper. I need my glasses but my shipment has been in Saint Louis and I live in Missouri. I still don't have them. I tracked my glasses and they went to Texas and back to Saint Louis! Make that make sense!

Fourth time ordering. Tried a new frame style. Received quickly and they fit great.
Received my eyeglasses promptly on initial order. Style not satisfactory and EyeBuyDirect replaced them with a different style. The nose piece attachment to the lens frame was faulty, as it broke off when adjusted. EyeBuyDirect again agreed to replace, and I am now waiting for the replacement. If there is no problem with the replacement, I am satisfied with the service of EyeBuyDirect.
I love my glasses from EBD. The virtual try-on is helpful. The frames are so inexpensive; I can't stop buying them. I always get compliments on the glasses I get. Since the cost is so low, I can take some risks and get some fun styles that I wouldn't normally try if I were spending hundreds. I have a bunch of colors to go with any outfit!

This was my first time buying prescription glasses online. I have to say the hardest part was waiting for them to arrive. The USPS misdirected the package but when it finally arrived I was thrilled. I'm so pleased I'll be ordering a few different pair for driving, sports and around the house. I made a few changes to my order and the CSR's were very patient and helpful. I have ordered a pair of computer glasses and they arrived in a very timely fashion, no side trips. These are excellent too.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
