Excellent customer service

For some reason I did not receive my confirmation email for my order. (We think it was the browser I was using) When I realized this several days later I called, the young woman was very responsive, friendly and professional. I had my email and shipping confirmation in a few seconds. Also my order had gone on sale after I ordered so she refunded the difference no questions asked, it was a good experience will definitely shop with Eco again so glad I found them.

I had issues with ski boots. Evo accepted them back with full refund. I did have to contact several people because at first I was told they could not be returned. So, if you get someone that says no, hang up and call again. Evo has the best prices and now I feel better about being able to return items.

Purchased a new Santa Cruz mtn bike earlier this summer. Took it in for 90 day (free) tune up after Christmas. Obviously late. No worries. Dani (sp?) in the shop (Salt Lake) was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service.

Amazing website.

I wanted to buy skis and this place had the best prices. I bought a pair of standard used skis and they were perfect. They look amazing and we're shipping really fast, 5 days early. The customer service was also amazing helping me find which ski I should get for my ski type. Amazing website and amazing service.

Quite satisfied

I recently shopped at evo.com and had a great experience overall. They offer a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and apparel, and I found exactly what I needed for my upcoming ski trip. The website is easy to navigate, and the product descriptions were spot-on. My order arrived on time and everything was in perfect condition. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I had a bit of trouble with customer service response time. But overall, I'm quite satisfied and will definitely shop here again!

Data Breach
January 9, 2020

evo.com's data breach cost me a lot of time and caused much stress as I had to contest unauthorized charges, re-work my billing and order a new credit card. Their only notification was a snail mail letter -- no email, no phone call and no compensation. Evo is also slow to ship orders and slow to process refunds, seemingly using their customer's money to fund their working capital. I will note that the customer reps are helpful advising on purchases, and seem genuinely interested in the customer experience. If not for that, evo would have received 1 star.

Communication could be improved

Purchase was easy but no communication about where the order was in the process of delivery. By the second week I was beginning to worry
There are so many scams out there! I felt a sense of relief when the delivery message and actual delivery occurred.

I would highly recommend starting mounting bindings on skis.
Here, in Florida, finding a service where bindings will be mounted on skis is challenging.
I communicated with Evo, but they would not mount the bindings.

Bought skis

Pulled the trigger on a pair of skis for my wife. Price was right. Accidentally bought two. My daughter (same size) lucked out on that one. Skis came as planned and in perfect shape. New age marketing where you slowly get blitzed with their ads. Yet look at me filling out a review so must work. Lol. Thunk snow.

However customer service goes to a national number, not local, which made servicing and pick up delayed. Would have been easier to talk to the local store directly

Ignored in the Store

I bought a ski helmet online, it did not fit. I brought it back to the Denver store with the intention of buying something in store. I have never been in an evo store. I walked in with my big shipping box, walked to a "last chance" section that had some helmets, looked around there for about 5'minutes, then saw the wall of helmets across the store. There were plenty of employees clustered around the registers, talking to each other, that I walked past on my way to the helmets - still carrying my big box. I didn't feel comfortable interrupting any conversations. I couldn't figure out if the wall of helmets was the only inventory or if it was like a shoe store where you have to ask for your size so I went up to the registers to get help. Someone asked if I had a return, I said yes, they quickly pointed me to a register, the man at the register didn't ask me anything, he just opened the box, scanned the bar code, said "that's going back on your credit card", and went back to what he was doing. NO ONE GREETED ME OR ASKED ME IF I NEEDED HELP. At a bare minimum, you would think that a return would be the perfect opportunity to say, "Can we help you find something that works for you?". I bought a helmet elsewhere and am still a bit incensed about my experience at the store.

Perfect for my tween
