After using other sites that tried to nickel and dime me, I wasn't hopeful when I used eVerify to do my search. A few clicks later, I found more information than I had found anywhere else after four days of non-stop searching online. I found current information, and it helped me get in touch with who I was looking for. I'd recommend eVerify to anyone.
They are clearly a scam.
I have received two emails via my company website contact form. One outright claiming that one of my employees had a criminal record - the thing is, I have no employees. And I don't have a criminal record. The other email implied that there are entries about my company on their site. I didn't even bother to click through.
This company is a joke. They take money form your account because they say to call to cancel in 7 day period. I called the same day and six days in a row since. You call *******427 and select 32 for billing to be put on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever answers. I have left over 20 messages no one has called. I wrote over 50 contact us Emails and no one has ever replied. It is impossible to cancel and they continue to charge your card.
I have file a report to the BBB today. Let's $#*! this site down. THIEVES!
I was so relieved when I was able to call into a number and actually speak with a human being and not a machine or an email! The customer support representative was very friendly, very efficient and handled my request with the utmost professionalism! I will definitely be back!
This website should be reported to: FBI internet crime complaint center (IC3), Department of Justice, BBB and even submit your concern about this website to your: County Clerk's office, Mayor, Governor, Senator. I am sure one of them will answer you and help you.
This company is posting absolutely false information. When you contact them to remove it, they ask for more information and documents so they could collect more private information about you, It is just a matter of time before they could post it online. This is a defamation and invasion of privacy. How could this scum company get away with this?
I ran a licence plate search and it said it had some info available. I had to create an account to get more info it said. I ran a 1 time report for $20 and it made me re-enter the licence plate info and give a reason I was looking for it. Then it just returned a screen that said no results found, and that I'd have to contact customer service. Why tell someone that you FOUND info, then when I pay, you find nothing? What a bunch of $#*!.
Their advertising was very deceptive, leading me to believe they had the exact information I was looking for. After subscribing and paying I was notified that they could not provide the information. Do not waste your time with this unethical company. BIG REGRETS.
Fraudulent bait and switch, I looked up a license plate number and they said they had information on the vehicle. The moment I entered my credit card number and clicked the link I was informed no information was found.
This was a total waste of time and money. The report gave me absolutely nothing that I did not already know. No birthday, no relatives, no employment, no previous addresses, just NOTHING. They even showed HE was a (F).
Fraud site, wish I had read the reviews. Would give zero stars if I could. I KNOW the person I ran on this site had an arrest (and other items), I was just trying to see if this site would give me more info or details about the event(s). Came up that there was no previous history with this person. ON MY OWN I found the arrest date, mugshot photo, etc so this site is a total rip off. If they read this review I would like them to address this.
The website provide a mug shot picture of the person I was doing a search on. It then said, for a complete report pay this amount... which I did. Then it came back and said, "no additional information was found". WTF? Why did I pay for no additional information? I can't get a hold of a live person and no one has responded to my emails. Worst customer service EVER! Worst background Website ever. I found another website that charged less and provided me with all kinds of information on the same person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
This site looks like a fake version of an official service - http://www.uscis.gov/e-verify. Also uses the address www.everifies.com.
Positive comments here probably refer to the official site, not the fake.
I signed up to do a license plate search and wasn't too happy with the results! I noticed they had a support phone number so I called for a refund. Much to my surprise they ran a custom report WHILE I was on the phone with them and they were able to provide me with the info I needed! Way more than I could have hoped for and I will definitely return!
Sent a contact form regards it 2 days ago but no respond so far
Sent an email yesterday to deactivate my account before the 5 days trail done but no answer
Finally, called their center and they never respond, rather they keep direct me to a voice message says please call back later or fill up a form which I already did for no use.

Yesterday I received an email from everify customer service says my cancellation request was done successfully. However, I can't be fare if I rate more than 2 stars as it was worthless experience & doesn't match how it was advertised.
If you were unable to find information on a license plate or VIN, it may be because these records are currently protected by the DPPA (Drivers Privacy Protection Act). The law prohibits some information on vehicles to be made public. Then they why can they collect $25 for a search they know wont give results?
I was looking for a license plate lookup and couldn't find it on the site. I found a bunch of other stuff but I really wanted the owner name on that car. I called and left a voicemail and one of their representatives called me back within the hour and had the owner's name and address for me. If I ever need information again I will definitely use everify.
They suck you in wit a $1 for a 5 day membership and then bill you another $30 for a MONTHLY subscription. I tried to cancel the service but the Captcha service was set to default as an error no matter how many times I put in the right wording. I had to change my PayPal password to stop this.
The customer support at everify is so fast. I was surprised at how easy they would cancel me. Most companys try and sell you other stuff but not hazel, she was so nice.
They promise you a vehicle's detailed VIN report and license plate report... until you enter in your credit card details and they charge you $4.95, and after that you get a message saying the info requested could not be found. I have REPEATEDLY tried calling their number *******472 and pressed 32 for "Billing Inquiries" but the c--ksuckers NEVER answer!

I can see from your comment that you might have tried calling us during the holidays. Because we believe in giving our employees time off to spend with their families, our call centers are closed during the holidays, including New Year's Eve.

Answer: Hello. Because we are a public records provider, I would not recommend our services to screen tenants. In fact, we state in our Terms/Legal page that we prohibit clients from using our services for tenant or employment screening. Sometimes there are inaccuracies in public data and it's best to not use public data for making these kinds of decisions.
